@@hetalsoni4576 "religion is for emotions humbleness love morals and most important fight with evil in inside our mind", morality doesn't come from religion, and most problem can resolve through consultation.so pretty bad reasoning.
People are not religious; they are afraid. What they call religion is often just a refuge for their insecurities. They cling to rituals, idols, and scriptures not because they understand them but because they fear what will happen if they don't. True religion is freedom, fearlessness, and love for Truth. What you see around is not religion-it's bondage disguised as faith. People worship out of habit, not understanding. They pray out of desperation, not devotion. If they were truly religious, their lives would be full of clarity and peace, not confusion and conflict. So, the better question is: Why do people fear so much? And what is the religion that helps them escape this fear?
Control is also an important factor for religion. It gives control of the masses in the hands of few, building up a social hierarchy. This helped the evolution of most early societies.
You are right. The religions have been spread by the political rulers rather than the religious leaders. They found religion as an effective tool to exploit the people.
Pranav sir, I am an agnostic. However I would like to know your take on people like Swami Vivekananda and Kalam sir who were actually religious. Can a person be religious and rational at the same time?
You can have rationale while being religious, but most of the time, it will be just fighting clashes of 2 opposite claims -- from science and religion. And being an atheist/agnostic atheist doesn't make you rational right away.

Man, I wanted to like this video, but I can't. Even someone like me, who doesn't believe in the supernatural, thinks this is a pretty bad video... And it's not even because you're "just criticizing religion", but because you're taking some correct facts yet somehow having a completely warped perspective on it. Usually that perspective is a stock Atheist response I've heard a thousand times, which is funny because even the first major Atheist of the western world, Nietzsche, had more nuanced responses than this. So the impression I'm left with is that instead of taking a more scientific / research-oriented route with your video (despite your channel name), you decided to make an opinion-piece lauding modernity while telling everyone why you think religion is obsolete... which comes off sloppy. I wish I had time to write a thorough constructive criticism of the video, so I'll only leave with the bare essential hints of the problem: 1) You're putting "Religion", all of it in the entire human existence, into a single umbrella term, which is pretty reductive, causing your claims to often contradict with one religion or another around the world. This causes so many problems, such as, for example, you also equate "religion" to "blind belief", despite the curious nature by which religions are built. So I guess Buddhism, for example, doesn't exist, eh? 2) Because of the aforementioned problem, you also reduce the necessity of religion's existence to ignorance and Terror-Management Theory, which on the surface sounds plausible, but actively contradict religions (or even elements of it) that both exist and have gone extinct. You're also completely ignoring philosophical foundations of various religions which, even if flawed, still remain timeless to this day and offer a path to a better life (no, I don't mean 'believing in a supernatural deity'... Thoda sophisticated wala, yaar). 3) You're correct that humanity creates moral systems depending on its environment and circumstances, but divorcing it entirely from religion is also pretty sloppy as if they have nothing to do with each other... which is blatantly false. Though, this is probably because of your interests in science rather than philosophy. If you did read philosophy with as enthusiasm as you did science, you'd know not only why this argument is wrong but why your entire thesis also has issues. 4) You're correct about some problems of religions, but you also attribute it strictly TO religion, rather than what they actually are from a sociological perspective. Because even if you eliminate religion completely, most of these issues would still persist in other forms, and has been the case before too. 5) Despite your initial correct assessment of origins of morality, you somehow contradict yourself by telling everyone what the "real" purpose of life is... where even non-religious philosophers may disagree with you (at least in a Devil's Advocate stance even if not in a personal capacity), because none of it is necessarily self-evident. In fact, the self-evident nature of "purpose" is religious in nature, which when brought under scrutiny, collapses into nihilism. You are correct that the "meaning of life" question itself is a religious one, but you're also ignoring not only scientists and philosophers who ponder on that question but also religions that DON'T subscribe to the "meaning of life" question at all and have their own framework of thought. I wish I could write more, but I'll leave it here. Otherwise tu toh mujhe galiyaan dega, "Bhau kitna likhta hai". 😆 Sorry for the wall of text, but have a good day either way.
Very level headed take. This is what happens when people who study one school of thought carry too much pride in it that they believe they have the authority to answer anything.
@tyata.1999 Yeah. I wish he was a bit more authentic in his stance. It's ok to have issues with religions and side with rationality (which our best boy Bhagat Singh was known to do), but it's worth putting money where your mouth is. If SiD wants to champion rationality over religion (since he heart-react a comment that said those same words, which is weird, because rationality and religion aren't mutually exclusive), he should have approached the subject rationally. Instead, in championing rationality and curiosity in the manner he did, he ended up sounding irrational and uncurious.
1) majority of people of ANY religion never relate to the nature of its origin, even if its curiosity, most religious people infact ARE blind believers in the twisted values that any religion develops over time. Don't believe me? you can check out any hinduism promoting videos with angry muslims and sometimes buddhists in the comments AND vice versa (a hindu and buddhist youtuber even had a popular beef recently which was basically abusing each other and spreading misinformation) 2) Most religions have such a huge collection of texts written based on them such as hinduism, buddhism, christianity, islam etc. that they sometimes help people have a better life (even though i personally disagree with it as well) If you throw a billion rocks at a person, few will obviously hit him 3) you didn't even provide any logical statement here, you just denied pure logic and said "yOu WouLD kNoW iF yOU sTuDIeD" as if, making logical conclusions even requires any studying in the first place 4)When has such been a case that all religions in their entirety have been removed from even a small country? 5) If you're talking about buddhism as something that did originate not subcribing to the meaning of life question, most followers of it aren't as philosophically strong as you, and still wont understand the true reason why buddhism exists in the first place; a huge ton of its branches have turned into total theism, some even making buddha a god tbh where does he tell exactly the real "purpose" of life in the sense religious people seek it as it's evident, only 2 out of your 5 points are sound arguments, which further explains how even if majority of what you blabber can be illogical, just because a few of it sounds good enough, people wont bother to read it whole and start appreciating you as is happening the replies LMAO
@@tyata.1999 you really dont need to study any school of thought to make purely logical conclusions, i can see where you come from if you believe you need some special deep research to have "authority" to answer something
I don't agree that moving to a city can help people look beyond someones religion or caste. I am from Banglore and have lived here all my life. I can tell that people do treat you differently when they come to know of your religion or caste.
One of the major problems that gets overlooked is - People spend their energy, money and time on superstitions and other more important things that matters to everyone gets ignored or get low priority. For example, even a supremecourt verdict was challenged and overturned by believers in Kerala(Sabarimala).. but when it comes to actual matters that puts peoples life at risk, like road safety or stray dogs issue or wild boars roaming freely in highly populated areas... no one gives a shit..
People spend way too much time, sometimes money like onlyfans, in watching porn too - Sex is actually quite natural too! With AR/VR videos and cool sex toys - I am pretty sure a lot of single guys/girls would spend more money using them! Some may say its irrational - as the sex is not real! Same with drugs too! It is all about the experience! I would not give up porn for anything! Other issues can be handled separately! I dont agree with this argument!
people are religious because of fear of death. It is depressing to think that this life is all we have got and it ends to nothingness. hence soul is invented and life continues with or without the body. existential crisis.
Either we can go in existential crisis or we can accept the truth and live it. The world view shatters after realising the truth. But we have to move on it is the nature of things. Either be sad the whole life or accept the truth. Universe doesn't gives a shit about our desires. It is the way it is and we have to live that way.
It's actually very simple. People feel weak helpless and powerless. Religion capitalises these things. Once you're religious then everything can be pushed to God.

Caste system is not a hindu religious problem It's an Indian problem. Basically it's an Indian version of the class system or tribal system in europe, africa or arabia. Every single religious community in Indian subcontinent is extremely casteist, unfortunately for the detriment of lower caste mu.slims, christians, jains or budhists, the academia, activists, politicians, media etc only seems to care abt lower caste hi.ndus. Here's why ambedkar was an aberration as even though he was extremely anti-hinduism he didn't have a specific hatred on hindus. He was very vocal abt casteism and other ills of islamic societies as well.
Science vs. Religion: A False Dichotomy Your entire argument rests on the assumption that science has replaced religion, as if the two are inherently at odds. That’s historically and logically false. Many of the greatest scientists were deeply religious: Isaac Newton, who laid the groundwork for physics, saw his discoveries as a way to understand God’s design. Gregor Mendel, the father of genetics, was a monk. Georges Lemaître, who first proposed the Big Bang theory, was a Catholic priest. If religion was simply an obstacle to knowledge, why were so many scientific breakthroughs made by religious individuals? The truth is, religion and science are not competing forces; they address different questions. Science explores how the universe works, while religion explores why we exist in the first place. Your inability to grasp this distinction shows a shallow understanding of both. Also, your argument that religion only provides "beliefs" while science provides "answers" is absurd. Science is a method of inquiry, not a moral guide. It tells us what is, not what should be. Religion and philosophy fill that gap. Pretending that secularism alone can replace these discussions is both ignorant and arrogant.
Hey Pranab I see your channel reach has gone down recently. As a youtuber myself I would suggest you to do more short video of 5 to 8 minutes on current topics like Kumbmela, IIT baba Donald trump Space science etc.

Religion as a Psychological and Social Advantage You claim that religion "lies" to people by giving them false hope, but you conveniently ignore scientific studies proving that religious belief has profound psychological benefits. Studies show that religious individuals: Experience lower levels of anxiety and depression Have higher levels of life satisfaction Live longer and healthier lives If religion were merely a "lie," why does it produce better mental health outcomes? Your argument implies that rationality alone is sufficient for well-being, yet countless people-especially in hyper-secular societies-struggle with existential crises, depression, and social isolation. Rationality may be a powerful tool, but it does not provide meaning. Religion does. You mock religious belief as an emotional crutch, but what you fail to acknowledge is that human beings need emotional and existential support. If science alone was enough to provide meaning, why do people still search for purpose, community, and transcendence in secular ways (e.g., meditation, philosophy, even fictional narratives)? The answer is simple: we need more than just cold, hard facts to live fulfilling lives.
Do people believe in religion because they evaluated everything first that yes religion doesn't makes sense but i want a meaning so let's be religious? No, they do because they have been taught since childhood. They don't even think of any possibility outside religion. No one is religious after seeing latest scientific studies and feeling, I don't believe in god but let's do it because i want a meaning. How can someone believe in something if he knows that it ain't true. People just add these reasons due to their confirmation bias and not because they evaluated all things then decide to believe in lie. Think about this...
“The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.” Werner Heisenberg, a 1932 Nobel laureate and father of quantum mechanics. "Too little science leads away from God, while too much science leads back to Him" - Louis Pasteur - Father of Microbiology and Immunology. "I build molecules for a living. I can't begin to tell you how difficult that job is. I stand in awe of God because of what he has done through his creation. My faith has been increased through my research. Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science takes away from faith. If you really study science, it will bring you closer to God." - James Tour - Scientist of the year 2013: Rand D Magazine.
As long as the unknown exists, religion will play a role to support it. Science will never be able to explain everything. Man’s must also overcome his fear of the unknown…which is impossible because it is a survival instinct.
To summarise the video, I would just say that religion is simply a collective reflection of an ideal society viewed by a section of people imposed upon other people.
@scienceisdope, your definition of morality is "Don't do things that can get you into legal or social trouble". That is a nice straw man fallacy. Morals coming from beliefs do not change based on circumstance. For example, a person believing in veganism will not eat meat no matter what the law or the society says. It is the same for morals based on religions or other beliefs. Is incest okay because India does not have law against it?
They do change. Example islam allows slavery, and many today say that was during 7th century context, not now. Also what proof you have that morality is objective? History has shown us that morality has always been subjective
@@Poltergeist7814 It is only what people say that changes not the thing that they say about. As time passes, people become more knowledgeable and start making more accurate judgements. Just like how it happens in science. What is the basis to believe that morality must be objective?
@@Poltergeist7814 Point on science not true - science continuously evolves - proved theories get disproved later by more advanced experiments. On morality, your point is correct but there is no basis to say that morality has to be objective.
by that logic even phenomena like quantum entanglement don't make sense nor does heisenbug's uncertainty principle or even the fact that certain biological systems down to cellular level organize themselves as a defense mechanism to survive even if you created unfavorable circumstances for it to survive. Miracles are all around us and when you get to the bottom of things, many things you learned will actually break down. Sure experimentations show these phenomena with succinct results but do they make sense in a way that's comprehensible to your mind if you hadn't read those? nope!
Thank you Pranav. Great video!! I Wish you had briefly mentioned HADD or Hyperactive Agency Detection Device, which is a concept from cognitive science and the study of religion. It refers to a tendency in humans to attribute agency, or intentional action, to events and objects that may not actually have agents behind them. This cognitive bias likely evolved as an adaptive mechanism. In uncertain environments, assuming that an event or phenomenon is caused by an intentional agent-like a predator or another human-could have survival benefits, even if it’s not always true.

How are you sure that living itself matter? Living happily, helping others, leaving behind legacy, all those are mandatory? Life of mine and many people around me is just struggle, they are somehoe ok with everything, no body around me think like me around me, i have found atheist only on internet, i think you guys are rich but what should a poor person do? Instead of proving religion is wrong, our focus is on earning money, But questioning religion has led me into questioning my existence, in 8 billion humans, trillions of other living beings, vast universe, what is point of struggling? Aren't we just slaves of our senses, i feel like i was more happy when i believed in some god, after i started questioning i can't again become innocent like before, Can you make video about how you deal with existential questions like this
that's called maturing, go back to being ignorant and you'll be much more happier if a shortcut is what you are looking for, the more you learn about the world the more harm you will do to your mind, if you want peace of mind then try restricting your environment, mental and physical, the more you care about things out of your control the more unhappy you will be the point of existence is to exist and multiply nothing more nothing less, everything else is all entertainment to keep the mind occupied "my question is why struggle to make world better place if it doesn't matter?" - that's like saying why clean the house when one day I wouldn't be alive to take care of it anymore, but you still clean your room and your clothes and bathe regularly right? unless you are too lazy to do that, its not that deep thats why people follow a religion since it gives them a purpose and reason to be a good person, choosing to play the role of an atheist brings a lot of unanswered questions and hard to swallow truths to the table which will make your already miserable life even more depressing I would suggest you to stop caring about all this religion subject if you are currently "struggling" with basic human existence, you have much bigger problems at hand than to worry about the legitimacy of religion
I am intrested in science, and can you start teaching physics, from non exam perspective ?? I couldnread books, but you know videos are easier to watch, i might suggest that, you cover all topics which are needed fo know, from classical to quantumn physics, i wouldnreally lose you for this.
How would you answer this question (read it very carefully): Select one: 1) Universe is eternal. 2) Universe created itself. 3) Someone or something (energy/force/power/super-conscious intelligence/creator/prime-mover/ultimate-causer/god) caused the universe to come into being. Saying I don't know is not an option here. Because there can not be any 4th known option or possibility except these three mentioned above. And if there is any then please kindly do tell us. Deism VS Atheism VS Theism: Theists believe in religion and things that they can not justify using established Science, Rationality and Logic. That's why they are wrong. Freethinkers (Atheists, Agnostics and Deists) Ex-Muslims all reject religion but have different stance regarding god/creator/prime-mover/the ultimate energy etc. Atheist: There is no Creator. Agnostic: We don't know if there's a creator. Deist: There is a Creator because there is creation, design and order in our universe. But we know and can observe that, that Creator does not intervene in this world such as listen to our prayers, do miracles for us, send prophets and holy books to guide us. Those are all man-made attempts to make sense of this world because they are filled with illogical and irrational arguments, unscientific beliefs and self-contradicting statements. In practicality, Atheists, Agnostics and Deists are all one. Since they all reject religion and prefer evidence based science and secularism in our society. So they all should stand united against Theism, since they are our real opponents. So what is your take on (Agnostic) Deism? In my opinion, Deism is the most strongest and rational philosophical position to have.

Nice video! However, I want to share info on how religion works in immigrant populations in US. Mallus are sending their kids to Hindu associations and Christians to their Church denominations, pay them large amounts of money for being a member just to be in a community of similar faith. Of course this help in a sense of a domination from the majority here.the kids are taught about their belief systems and even how to dress up. The religious leaders often infuse a fake fear of what if the kids loose their “culture” and become more westernized. This may be viewed as very benign but these types of groupthink is mainly used politically.

Hi Pranav, an eye opener video for all religious fanatics. While our ancestors and ancients were very curious to learn things by observing, we now have scientific methods to back up with evidence. Unfortunately, our brain is conditioned from million years to stick to beliefs which were passed on to us and it’s easier for us to think from that conditioning instead of questioning it. We will be free only when that conditioning ends.
The inadequacy of this video is that Pranav seems to imply that those who are religious are irrational. Well, they could be empirical, that is those who believe knowledge could be obtained through their senses as opposed to reasonning. Should the religious ones who felt good sensations not recommend to others? Is it irrational for religious ones to consider their senses as evidences? Or should they perform staristical testing? After all, Calorie counting model is not unanimously accepted by researchers, and yet Pranav keeps recommending the diet that particularly worked for him. Did he do hypothesis testing of the diet that he recommends? Or was Pranav irrational? Bigger problem is that he seems to use to the word testing as though it is obvious. The procedure for testing is not well established in statistics. There are different schools of thought that recommends different ways of testing. This video will scarcely stand the philosophical scrutiny. Simply put, should religious people abandon their sensation and consider Pranav"s reasoning?
Fascinating video! exploring how religion helps people cope with fear and uncertainty, but it raises some intriguing questions. For instance, if religion is primarily about addressing existential anxieties, why does it so often align with systems of power and hierarchy? Could it be that religion serves purposes beyond individual comfort-perhaps something structural or societal? You mention that religion persists despite scientific advancements, but why do you think that is? Could it be tied to material conditions in society, like inequality or economic insecurity, rather than just personal belief? Don’t you think it provides hope to the hopeless, comfort and care to the careless, perhaps even being an evolutionary advantage for those who don’t believe? Is nationalism a religion? It often seems to function similarly, with rituals, shared beliefs, and the idea of a higher cause or authority. What do you think? If we embrace science and rationality, does it truly solve the goals religion aims to achieve? What about the emotional and social roles religion fulfills? Don’t you think the solution might need to be something else entirely? These are just some thoughts to consider. I'd love to hear what others think about these dynamics!
half of the goals religion aims to achieve is control the masses which focuses power in the hands of few which in turn creates inequalities in economy and society which in turn makes them even more religious, its a dumb, almost unbreakable cycle even nationalism is often taken to extremes and tied with the countries major religion instead of excepting the fact that inequalities exist and will always do and that there is only a small probability that i make it in life but ill make do with it coz thats how it is, attributing unnecessary hope for "emotional support" to illogical claims due to lack of critical analysis and bad parenting is the sole purpose questions which you make even have a basis
Bro please read my comment without bias, i am not from any side from right or left, I just wanted to say that whatever true wisdom literature that is available, true religion(not worshipping and all) was created to free people from bondages, fear, greed discontent (because only then you will be truly happy and can help others and can do work worth doing which requires creativity), so that they live without chains with complete freedom. And to do so you have to rigorously develop philosophy not just surface level morality (to correctly answer why anything that should be done or not). Everyone from birth have animal tendencies which has to be nullify and simultaneously work to foster creativity. If these animal tendencies are not kept in check not only it harms his/her creativity but also to others and also to World(CLIMATE CHANGE where the main cause is too much blind consumerism), so that's why right knowledge is needed otherwise we will be the species on this planet that will do self destruct. And what you are saying is true that popular religions have cause more than doing any good as they mostly dogmas and superstitions but there is caveat that has to be told. Thank you 🙏
Exactly. Advaita Vedanta is incredibly profound knowledge everyone needs to hear. But these token rationalists with 5th grade level arguments will keep flailing away at strawmen like black magic etc.
how do you know what "true religion" was created for? because whatever you say isnt happening, so you're just playing semantics cause most people dont perceive religion they way you do
About the purpose thing, no religion didn't started the contemplation of purpose, philosophy did. Plato and Aristotle were before Christianity. This shows how unaware you are outside of your own school of thought. Do some proper research and study before making these kinds of videos instead of spamming your own ignorant assumptions.
Pranav, it's an interesting video. Just one additional option point of Crocodiles eating their own children in your cannibalism explanation in the video. Lion's example was for breeding, but crocodiles and some other examples are different. You should have included that so we can better relate morality with humans because there were and are ( i am sure) some tribes of human species in jungles somewhere who used to eat their children which is rare phenomenon in among normal humans.

Solution: A single universal, perfect ethics system based on scientific temper. If people don't even know how to think, how can you expect them to think properly? That's why most debates turn into arguments. I had an argument with my relative yesterday, and I think it was my fault for arguing with such a foolish person who believes shouting means winning. However, I learned a lot from the experience, and next time, I'll simply say, "Learn to think and learn to debate; after that, we'll talk. If you want help, I'll be happy to assist you." Yes, ignorance can be a way to tackle these fools, but I have integrity. (I'm just talkative, but not in a meaningless way-I have so much knowledge I want to share. If you talk with me, you'll learn things you've never heard before.)
Same dude. I reach that point in argument where the other person knows that he is wrong but still defending himself rather then thinking. They don't even listen to what i am saying. I can see that time that their brain doesn't wants to accept completely different view, so it simply denies even simple logic. People should be open and curious, otherwise it always goes like this.

Hi, not a hater but a subscriber, but tell us have you read about any religion? If you didn't, then sorry but you're not qualified to speak on these things, because as much as I know, things like religion isn't a thing which can be understood that easily, that fast! How do you deny the religious connections, people has felt again and again over the years?
Most atheists go through a phase of hyper-religiousness. Which eventually lead to collecting info on religion, first ur own then other ,and specially if u have base in science, history or philosophy u have a higher likelihood of deconstructing from religion after understanding it on a deeper level.
Us humans are really good at finding patterns... Sometimes we find patterns where there are none. A theist will thus always attribute happy moments/successes to god, because he thinks GOD made them happen, further strengthening his belief... But an atheist will try to explain without god because he doesn't think that there's a supreme being and thus doesn't give credit to it. Are you sure that the "religious connections" you are talking about aren't the same as this phenomenon?
There are many problems in Islam but caste system or say hierarchy is not one of them. Holy Prophet in His last sermon said all men are equal. The hierarchy you see in Islam now a days is mostly created after His death by people or is there because of cultural elements
Tbh every religion says all humans are equal treat them with respect, but it's the human thing which creates hierarchy... As in Hinduism, aham Brahmasmi, every soul is one, but people made the rigid caste system (mostly bramin) to hold power n control in society.

I am not sure of others but when I was little, my religious teacher taught us that we should not look at people of other gender with lust and the best way to do that is by lowering your gaze. He also taught me that I should not make fun of others in the name of dark humor, nor abuse people, nor talk bad about people behing their back. Now I dont know if you consider this morality but I do and religion has taught me this and I feel bad when I see other people doing the exact same opposite.
exactly i think religion in earlier time was only teaching people how to be good but now its a tool + religion made a concept of heaven as our parents lure our children to do good things and then i will give a candy , question god is good but questioning and demonizing the belif system of people is not ,
Literally religions create this divide between genders that is dangerous. One can respect the other genders without being religious.Secular morality gives space for relationship between both genders while being equals. You can look at other gender straight on without being lustful. This misplaced sense of morality which is feudal is very dangerous for our development.

Don't we bother with the word, 'dishonesty' any more? For any question, having no answer or finding the answer should be always welcomed than providing false answer or untruth answer. Unfortunate part is, if even in 2025 we find that religion is still dominant with true evidence of huge crowd in recent Kumbh mela, it is our collective failure and it is too late to comeback.
Fear of death is a powerful motivator.
A promise of heaven or afterlife or nirvana can significantly ease those fears.

I wish I had time to write a thorough constructive criticism of the video, so I'll only leave with the bare essential hints of the problem:
1) You're putting "Religion", all of it in the entire human existence, into a single umbrella term, which is pretty reductive, causing your claims to often contradict with one religion or another around the world.
I appreciate this wall of text
Don't believe me? you can check out any hinduism promoting videos with angry muslims and sometimes buddhists in the comments AND vice versa (a hindu and buddhist youtuber even had a popular beef recently which was basically abusing each other and spreading misinformation)
2) Most religions have such a huge collection of texts written based on them such as hinduism, buddhism, christianity, islam etc. that they sometimes help people have a better life (even though i personally disagree with it as well)
If you throw a billion rocks at a person, few will obviously hit him
3) you didn't even provide any logical statement here, you just denied pure logic and said "yOu WouLD kNoW iF yOU sTuDIeD" as if, making logical conclusions even requires any studying in the first place
4)When has such been a case that all religions in their entirety have been removed from even a small country?
5) If you're talking about buddhism as something that did originate not subcribing to the meaning of life question, most followers of it aren't as philosophically strong as you, and still wont understand the true reason why buddhism exists in the first place; a huge ton of its branches have turned into total theism, some even making buddha a god tbh
where does he tell exactly the real "purpose" of life in the sense religious people seek it
as it's evident, only 2 out of your 5 points are sound arguments, which further explains how even if majority of what you blabber can be illogical, just because a few of it sounds good enough, people wont bother to read it whole and start appreciating you as is happening the replies LMAO
@@tyata.1999 you really dont need to study any school of thought to make purely logical conclusions, i can see where you come from if you believe you need some special deep research to have "authority" to answer something

Here's why ambedkar was an aberration as even though he was extremely anti-hinduism he didn't have a specific hatred on hindus. He was very vocal abt casteism and other ills of islamic societies as well.

Science vs. Religion: A False Dichotomy
Your entire argument rests on the assumption that science has replaced religion, as if the two are inherently at odds. That’s historically and logically false.
Many of the greatest scientists were deeply religious:
Isaac Newton, who laid the groundwork for physics, saw his discoveries as a way to understand God’s design.

Religion as a Psychological and Social Advantage
You claim that religion "lies" to people by giving them false hope, but you conveniently ignore scientific studies proving that religious belief has profound psychological benefits.
Studies show that religious individuals:
Experience lower levels of anxiety and depression
Have higher levels of life satisfaction
Live longer and healthier lives
If religion were merely a "lie," why does it produce better mental health outcomes?
We love you pranav the haters are gonna keep hating ignore them

"I build molecules for a living. I can't begin to tell you how difficult that job is. I stand in awe of God because of what he has done through his creation. @@spongebubblyhow is my definition false? I said what I inferred from this video, besides it is not wrong though…

Wish you had briefly mentioned HADD or Hyperactive Agency Detection Device, which is a concept from cognitive science and the study of religion.

"my question is why struggle to make world better place if it doesn't matter?" - that's like saying why clean the house when one day I wouldn't be alive to take care of it anymore, but you still clean your room and your clothes and bathe regularly right? unless you are too lazy to do that, its not that deep
thats why people follow a religion since it gives them a purpose and reason to be a good person, choosing to play the role of an atheist brings a lot of unanswered questions and hard to swallow truths to the table which will make your already miserable life even more depressing
I would suggest you to stop caring about all this religion subject if you are currently "struggling" with basic human existence, you have much bigger problems at hand than to worry about the legitimacy of religion
Why there's not thanks option on this video 19:36 ✌️
I am intrested in science, and can you start teaching physics, from non exam perspective ?? I couldnread books, but you know videos are easier to watch, i might suggest that, you cover all topics which are needed fo know, from classical to quantumn physics, i wouldnreally lose you for this.
How would you answer this question (read it very carefully):
Select one:
1) Universe is eternal.
Deism VS Atheism VS Theism:
Theists believe in religion and things that they can not justify using established Science, Rationality and Logic.
In my opinion, Deism is the most strongest and rational philosophical position to have.
you said all are one in practicality yet somehow deism is the rational position?
bruh ur statements dont make sense
Who said theist reject science 😂😂😂😂 we christians never reject science

Please do also attach sources for the research, helps us curious learner to dig deeper
Bro yoga brooo plzzzzz😢 i know it is hard for you as you said but plzzzzz bro
I'd love to hear what others think about these dynamics!
half of the goals religion aims to achieve is control the masses which focuses power in the hands of few which in turn creates inequalities in economy and society which in turn makes them even more religious, its a dumb, almost unbreakable cycle
even nationalism is often taken to extremes and tied with the countries major religion
instead of excepting the fact that inequalities exist and will always do and that there is only a small probability that i make it in life but ill make do with it coz thats how it is, attributing unnecessary hope for "emotional support" to illogical claims due to lack of critical analysis and bad parenting is the sole purpose questions which you make even have a basis

Thank you 🙏

Solution: A single universal, perfect ethics system based on scientific temper.
If people don't even know how to think, how can you expect them to think properly? That's why most debates turn into arguments. I had an argument with my relative yesterday, and I think it was my fault for arguing with such a foolish person who believes shouting means winning. However, I learned a lot from the experience, and next time, I'll simply say, "Learn to think and learn to debate; after that, we'll talk. If you want help, I'll be happy to assist you."
Yes, ignorance can be a way to tackle these fools, but I have integrity.

Didn't you ever heard the shankaracharyas for whatever they say regarding traditional hinduism
Most atheists go through a phase of hyper-religiousness. Which eventually lead to collecting info on religion, first ur own then other ,and specially if u have base in science, history or philosophy u have a higher likelihood of deconstructing from religion after understanding it on a deeper level.
if there is a "special connection", then prove it logically and scientifically. it is the equivalent of saying i saw a flying donkey.
In short, religions starts placebo effect & continues with domino effects.

I have have personal experience of religious gurus reading my mind can your science proof how that works
anecdotal evidence, not useful at all at a large scale
Hinduism didnt give morality directly ....like u should be doing this that and all to become perfect human....instead it gives a law of karma ....jesa kroge vesa bharoge so that morality originate itself from the consciousness ki ky sahi ky galat example if i kill some one, then chances are high (not absolute ) that one day i will be killed but karma law doesn't direct in particular direction to become as like as your god, that is one of the reason india is so diverse in thoughts from region to region.
What do you think that did aghori have morality or did they have fear of death?
Please make video on people blindly following law of attraction
Your channel should should be called Jugaad and Jumla.
You are truly Indian BS artist like Jaggi Vasudev and Ravi Shankar.
You just reegineer your opinion to sound clever according trending topics.
Dude start a advertising agency who would make millions.
if making logically sound arguments is "stating opinions to sound clever" then well, you're doing the same
@smellyfut4277 The guy is all Jumla and Jugaad a true of the soil. 😅😅😅.
Bro. I would highly recommend you to read the Holy Bible before making such videos. I am not commenting something bad about your videos. I am trying to help you. It's the only motive to my life and it's true that God watches us. And pls don't just Read, study it. Ask questions and get answers. You would get wisdom. That's what I wanted to say. Thanks for your time 😊
Hey Pranav I know this is out of the topic but are you Kannadiga
What about aura, i have felt it
anecdotal evidence aint gon do nothing, i have personally seen a flying unicorn yesterday too
@@smellyfut4277 what about the vibes we get when we meet people
@ ah yes "vibes" as if its not a general response for every living thing to have a change in blood pressure on feeling emotions
@@smellyfut4277 hmmmmm 🤔
Please be more courageous and make a video about origins of different religions and how they spread.
It has to be viewed from evolutionary anthropology n sociology n biology. Whatever is conferring evolutionary advantages only can survive.both rituals n religion hv a role in survival of the species. And u can go back to discovery of fire and invention of artifacts, vocabulary.
