I started with touch markers until now I'm still using them. I could say base on this comparison Ohuhu would be the best choice, a little pricey but I guarantee it's worth it. Both works the same it all depends on the artist ☺️😉
I got a set of 80 touch markers and the only big problem i got is the dryness of a portion of the markers unfortunately, but other than that and the need for a swatch chart everything is good. Tbh I'm from eastern Europe so I can't get ohuhu, but my cheap-ish and very good alternative if i want something fancier is graph'it,it's a french brand
Definitely Ohuhu! I have my own pair of Ohuhu and touch markers, and the difference is extraordinarily. The Ohuhu brush tips are more flexible and have a wide color range. Touch markers on the other hand are uncomfortable and don’t have as much of a color range.Touch markers are more splotchy and dry out very easily while Ohuhu’s are exactly the opposite! Hope this would help anyone looking to by any of these markers!
I was planning to buy touch markers but thank you for the suggestion guess what i borrowed the touch markers from my sister and it didn't turned out that great.
It is all about skills if you have great skills you can do great it doesnt matter which brand of markers you get (btw no hate to you, you love ohuhu its your choice).I have touch markers and they work so smooth i drew nezuko from jhoans video only that 168 marker pack , and let me tell you they worked sooooo nice soooooo smooth i loved how they worked
I got the 168 brush marker set from a company called Chotune (basically a TouchNew rebrand) + their 36 and 60 skin color set. For all of them I paid €96 on amazon. They are just as good as Ohuhu and they have lots of pretty pastels already included in their 168 set, so no need to buy an extra set there. I have already refilled some of them with Ohuhu ink, and I see no difference between the Chotune ink and the Ohuhu ink, honestly. hence I'm really glad I didn't get Ohuhu and overpay.
for me i got the set of 80 touch markers and its alright, before i plan to get ohuhu but since im from indonesia the price of ohuhu markers are much more pricey
Jhoan maybe u used the GG(Green gray)palette for the blazer maybe u should have used BG(Blue gray)or WG(Warm gray) they would have worked so good and BG palette would have been a chefs kiss for blazer
I got set of 80 touch cool markers and it's great the only problem is other colors are dry and only the other tip works which I hate it btw I'm from Philippines there is ohuhu markers but it 3x expensive than the touch markers
Ohuhu is worth the price tho, it's easier to blend with and it does not run dry as fast as touch markers, but if you dont use alcohol markers alot or blending does not matter much to you then yeah getting the ohuhu markers is not worth it.
I love the difference between one side and the other. As one of the people in the comments said, the left side is very "realistic", while the right reminds me a lot of that old anime color aesthetic, yk?
If you go with the skin of touch markers and think that they are so yellowish and dont like them, so let me tell you that there is a very opposite color pallete present in touch markers of skin maybe jhoan wanted these sort of colors but dont think that skin in touch markers are yellowish. There is color palette of skin markers same like ohuhus skin palette in touch markers
Ur so so talented!! Can u make a video explaining about how do u use the colorless blender and like how do u know where u should put light and shades and stuff? Love ur videos
Nice! This was helpful. I’ve been unsure of trying Ohuhu markers, but this comparison is helpful to see. I do think I have markers like the touch, but they don’t have any branding at all. But they look very similar. I also think I like the Ohuhu side, but the Touch markers are still pretty good. Might be good if you want to try markers?
The ohuhu marker one feels more realistic in the colour perspective, and touch one looks like the colour scheme i would see on the manga cover or the anime🥰❤
It's actually better to blend them while they're wet, cuz it'll be harder if blending them while they're already dry, that will give the colors a not so smooth transition but rather solid colors instead of smooth gradients
Thx so much ❤️ u are such a big help and the power of drawing ur videos make such a hard looking topic look so easy and I plan to follow your tips when I get my own markers very soon 👍👍👍
Guys,we are talking about ohu ohu and touch markers but in this video ohu ohu wins and I can see many people who likes touch markers than ohu ohu . I think both of them good cuz everything has their weaknesses and strengths!! Also I am using touch markers and found it is cool!!!
Ohuhu is known for its vibrant color, imo it's not suited for gradation. Touch markers are better for gradation, for they're has the same soft tone like copic.
Honestly, Ohuhu is basically TouchNew markers, just with a higher price tag. I see no difference in blending with them or drawing with them. You simply need to blend the right colors and never a light one with a dark one without a middle color. But considering TouchNew now also have brush nibs and are much cheaper than Ohuhu, I'd definitely recommend TouchNew for beginners. When they run dry, you can simply refill them with Ohuhu ink or Touch Twin ink and turn them basically into these markers. And they offer a skin color set as well.
@@Poop-qe5kx Thats highly subjective. I dont have any issues with their shape. I prefer it over the round shape of Ohuhu. This has nothing to do with the quality of the markers, so its not a very valid argument.
Thanks for comparing the two markers. I hear or see a lot of the Touch, Copic, and Ohuhu on RUclips for alcohol markers. For the price, what I see on your drawings, Touch isn't half bad but you can see the quality if you place the Ohuhu and Touch side by side. Thanks for your time! 🤗❤️👍🏾💯
You talking about Touch by Shinhan or those cheap TouchNew markers she is testing here? Because the Shinhan Touch Twin markers are a premium product just like Copics. They are much better than Ohuhu. The TouchNew markers she is testing here are basically Ohuhu markers, but cheaper.
@Oozaru85 I have a brand called Touch by Yoma that was about 33ish off Amazon. I didn't know there was a type of marker called Touch made by different brands. Thanks for clearing that up. Means I need to look around the types of markers and brands more carefully. That said, I'm using the cheap alcohol markers which have been working pretty good for a year now without drying up as might be expected for a cheaper brand. Granted I make sure to turn the markers' dual ends to keep the flow some what even every so many weeks as I use them. Now and then I lay them on their side when it will be longer than a month before use.
@@charofheart37 You can put some nail polish into the cheap markers to "revive" them. You can do that multiple times when they dry out. After some time the color will start to vanish of course, but the first few times should be fine to keep enough pigments to use them. Afterwards you can just refill them with Touch Twin ink and you get cheap premium markers, lol. Oh, and yes. Any brand that uses "Touch" in their name and isn't Shinhan's Touch Twin, is just a cheap chinese knockoff. Like TouchNew, TouchCool, TouchFive, TouchRaven, etc... But they all use Shinhan's color system, thats why you can use Shinhan's refill ink to refill those cheap markers.
i was going to buy touch five but I am going to buy ohuhu markers cuz i see that is really better...but.ohuhunis more expensive than touch five so I was hesitant ..but in the end I will by ohuhu cuz I see that the quality is so good
I'm confused with the drawing and the shadowing. The right hand looks wierd and the thumb is doing something impossible unless the index finger is at a different angle, but the fingernail would be represented differently
for me i prefer tuch markers because i like anime like drawings tuch markers are more cheper then ohuhu and i dont realy want blending in my drawings so my preference in tuch marker

What is the best cheapest alcohol ohuhu markers to start off with first
im using touch markers too but i put the markers straight up so the ink is concentrate on 1 head of the markers ;-;
