    Seeing it next to each other, there's no doubt to me. The Sian is way more fancy and slick and looks the best overall, but next up is the Ferrari

    Something I notice with technic that I'm sure everyone knows is that the super cars get better and better and more advanced every year with gaps due to the pieces they can now mold and can include more just brick based techniques just looking at the Ferrari

    • @parminderjaura5642
      @parminderjaura5642 2 года назад +10

      On the technical aspect, the Bugatti is the most advanced. After that it’s more details in making them more beautiful. Lego technics have gaps but they keep creating new part to reduce the gap.

    • @icedragon154
      @icedragon154 2 года назад +3

      @@jeromevennin4033 and I would like to see them use a little more brick based specialized parts for the gaps like on the front of the Ferrari but they're still awesome and I'm gonna get one someday. I hope they focus more on the smaller but robust sets like the Ford GT. I just finished it and these others just seem too expensive for the building experience . That’s why I’m looking at the 2022 Batmobile as my next purchase . If they had a good line of 1:12 or 1:10 scale cars in the $100-$120 price tag with around 1500 or more pieces I would buy many of those . I also hope they include more American cars
      Edit- those weren’t meant to be timestamps just scale numbers for the models

    Hi Bricksie, before the Ferrari came, I received the Lamborghini Sián from my wife as a Christmas present last year as she knows I've been eyeing it for quite a while. It's my favorite car and I really enjoyed the building process which took me 6 days and I've purchased a plexiglass case just to display it.
    The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is also very stunning and I'm on the fence on whether I should get one as well, especially after viewing your speed build video. Yes it's costly but at the end of the day it's really very satisfying. Thanks for this great comparison video too!

    Yeah the gaps aren't great and one could make a case that they have some issues with appearance in general, but all the functionality is impressive and making these sleek, curvy supercars with Lego pieces is an immense challenge unless you start creating brand new pieces just for that set.
    That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if 2-3 cars after the Ferrari (maybe even sooner), Lego starts doing that more and we get a car that looks really good and very similar to its real life counterpart.

    My biggest issue with the 1:8 lineup is that they are solely display pieces (gearboxes are just for the building experience), but still pale in comparison with MOCs in regards to the looks.
    At these price ranges, I would either expect functions up the wazoo or the craziest and most beutiful bodywork imaginable. Right now, the cars just feel kinda awkward. I've merely wanted to buy them for the parts and build some of the MOCs you can get on Rebricable.

The price is a little absurd for what you are getting but that's just how expensive things are right now...
