Wow, what a set! It must be quite the engineering challenge to get this to all fit together nicely. And then there's the functions! Thanks for the video!
@@alexnunes That is the reason why i am holding off to buy Sian right now. I am ok with the price even though it is expensive but for what it's worth that Sian is not worth 500CAD right now, unless they fix the problem with color issue. Then i would happily buy it.
Wow, I can't help but notice the blue pins throughout the build now that you pointed it out. They do a great job of hiding that in the promotion pictures. Vedy sneaky Lego. Still an amazing build. Great video too!
Gen Xer here too. I had countach goals too. Sideswipe was my favorite transformer. The Tyco 9.6v Lambo countach was a nice little rc as well. Seeing a white Countach in the wolf of wallstreet made me smile.
Not sure if someone else has commented on it or not, but your lower panels for the passenger door are incorrect. One of them is flipped the wrong orientation, they should be a smooth panel when finished. Your driver door is correct. You can really spot the discrepancy at 11:50 in the video. I also noticed that your pins for the door hinge are not fully seated, at least on the drivers side. This doesn't affect function, but I found it was a bit smoother experience once the pins were fully seated. Great review!
I like the bugatti, the color scheme, the w16 engine, the lights, the front, the special key for the spoiler makes it cooler in my opinion, and the interior is insane
At first I was always a huge fan of the Bugatti. But as a fan of Lamborghini I would love to have one of these especially in that color, I love that green!
What, do you mean 42039? That was smaller. In fact, that set is slightly smaller than the roughly 1:10 Porsche 911 RSR (42096) so I would say that the 42039 is roughly 1:10.5, if not 1:11 Edit; those numbers with Colons are to mention scales, not specific time points in the video. I wish there was a way to prevent it from doing that...
Alex, excellent review as always. I was excited to see this. I just decided that I’m going to collect these three cars and just managed to get my hands on the Porsche on eBay. Got a great deal on it. I look forward to collecting the other two in the not too distant future. Hope you and your family are doing well in these difficult times.
I have the Sian the whole build went OK apart from I must of put a pin in where it should not of gone as my wing won't go up so need to pull apart the side and check it bit it looks great will also do a few mods sometime soon.
I have a question my sons god father brought the lambo for my son on Christmas and it still in the box cause I’m afraid lol how long it will take.. can u tell me how long will it take
Have the Lambo myself. Great build, and a wonderful challange for those who love the thrill of the build. At the price you pay for it though, you should get a few choices on its color.
My dad is of the exact generation that had the countach poster you were talking about, we found the poster in my grandma's attic about 13 or so years ago.
I never thought about that so I looked at the official images. They are definitely there, but they seem to have a greenish hue to them as to minimize the brightness. Yeah, that's not cool.
i feel the lego designers are taking on this constructive criticism as there has been a steady progression of improvements from the porsche right up to the Ferrari 488
I bought the silver champion back when it came out, and ever since i have just struggled to find anywhere to practically display it. They're just too big for any normal cabinet. I love the models but I just can't justify having them due to the sheer size. Things like the F150 Raptor are the perfect size for me
Nice looking ride and great color choice. And yes, how could I forget the Countach. Classic car! Did you buy a case of Mountain Dew just for this review? Haha just kiddin' MD would make a great sponsor though!
I would love for Lego to go back to the formula one style cars. But the supercars of today are so well engendered and will definitely be here to stay with the evolved functions and accuracy I can't see any reason to not keep this same quality and high bar going. Haven't gotten any of the big three but I'm definitely interested in the land rover, I think that would be a great entry level technic set. If I had to rank the supercars it would be: 1. The Lamborghini Sian love the colour and features a striking model and the build techniques are interesting the angles and intricate details are a treat. 2. The Bugatti Chiron beautiful colour and design and the overall shaping of the model is extremely well done but lack of suspension and needing the key to activate features is a no. 3. The Porsche the first and set the standard but the features are outdated by better design. Nostalgia wants me to put it higher but I'm being fair. However I would like to get a system style creator expert car first more specifically the Mustang cheaper and I've been holding out on it for a while soon I'll get into technic but not right now.
@@dsdf_fdp1858 I know it looks really good the only gripe I have is the lack of engine detail and the wheels should be no more treaded minor things really and it's big I hope we get even more especially from this season of F1
@@dsdf_fdp1858 Yeah, I hope so too but you're exactly right if it did have the detail of the Sian it would have been way too expensive it's a nice middle ground but I'd like just a bit more bank for my buck
@@alexnunes it's not. I have both the Chiron and the Defender and they're not the same scale. I do however have a 25 year old 8880 supercar that I think is also 1:8, but is not modelled after an existing car.

LaFerrari with an electrical engine next to the petrol one form the Lamborghini. Interesting technic would that be to compare. Or an Enzo would be even more epic.
Thank you for the brief history lesson at the beginning of the video. I now have appreciation for the 1:8 scale sets I see with other people.
I love this series i have the Bugatti and want the Lamborghini
I got both Porsche Bugatti is on order
I got only porsche 911
I also have the bug 😁
I have the lamborghini I finished it yesterday its so sick
Wow, what a set! It must be quite the engineering challenge to get this to all fit together nicely. And then there's the functions!
Thanks for the video!
What about colour differences between the green pieces. For example, the middle part of the spoiler at 11:15.
Yes, I did notice this as I built it. Strange that they couldn't get that to match.
@@alexnunes that happened to my one as wel

Loved all these builds, you can really see the engineering evolution between all these. The doors on the Lambo are a masterpiece.

You correctly predicted the release of the Ferrari Daytona at 2:04
bruh that thumbnail so good
You can see the sun setting and coming back up again in the time lapse lmao!!!
Hey Alex, by chance any info on upcoming Speed Champion set's?
the doors on the sian also have a lever you push to open behind the seats
That was a very nice summary/documentary/review!
I love how it went from like a mini documentary to a time lapse of building a lego set
This is an awesome series! Love the green color on the new car!!! =)
I really hope there will be another one later in 2022.
Excellent review and I love the historical retrospective at the beginning.
Yet another amazing build and video!!
the epic time lapse I rlly like it
Sian looks sick
Love this series! The Lamborghini was epic! 🤩 too bad couldn’t get any of these. Nice video! 😀
Yeah.
Yeah.
I have Lamborghini and bugotty
You can get them. If you work hard for it. Be self disciplinent.
That’s what I did now I have the LEGO Bugatti.
Thank You, Tastefully done.
9:43 You have to put the red technic pin which is at the front section all the way in !!
Thanks, got that taken care of

I've always been interested in the Lamborghini Sian
Great Video Alex👍👍
Wasn't the 24 hour racer 1:8 scale?

That's awesome! Happy to hear you got one. The other two should hopefully be available for awhile.
Bruh, I didn’t even notice or see the blue circles on it. And now I can’t unsee it >:(
What scale would the Porsche rsr and the Ferrari 488 be?

I'm an Xennial - born 1980 - and I had the Lambo poster ... and 2 Countach Hotwheels...
Yes! My man!!
DAMN I would absolutely LOVE to have a Delorian Lego model!
What scale is the white rsr?
1:9 I believe.
what about the 42000 prix (idk if it counts)
I have a question my sons god father brought the lambo for my son on Christmas and it still in the box cause I’m afraid lol how long it will take.. can u tell me how long will it take
Like two days, tops.
10-15 hours for a good builder
Very nice overview Alex! Thanks! I have not bought the Bugatti or Lamborghini yet but all the other 1:8 scale are pretty awesome, I have to agree.
Love anything racing so vary cool.
What about the infamous color variations on the green pieces for this kit? Did Lego finally get it all under control?
I noticed a certain element that was a little off on the green. Close up you can see this
Wow, very nice vid, lambo looks great.
You forgot the 24 Hours Race Car
A technic ford gt would be cool
or dodge viper.
might buy it!
Cool....very nice vid...
I wish LEGO would reissue or update a Formula one car. Great video.
I wish LEGO would actually make windshield/door window molds for these technic cars!

do you have a lambo sian worth 2.6 million euros or do you mean the lego set??

Kind of surprised they haven't done a Ferrari yet. They seem to have a great working relationship with them. Guess its just a matter of time.
I was thinking this as well. Something to look forward to, I guess.
This looks hard I thought my Lego technic mclaren Senna gtr was hard
Just baught ( can’t spell) the Bugatti today with my first salary and I am so excited
Those white wheels you have in a bag on the floor: put them on for full '80s Countach!
Good call!
When you mentioned the blue pins sticking out, did LEGO photoshop that out on the box? Or hide it in the shadows or so? Thats not so nice of them! :(
I never thought about that so I looked at the official images. They are definitely there, but they seem to have a greenish hue to them as to minimize the brightness. Yeah, that's not cool.
And now we have the CADA Ferrari which perfectly fits in
There was also the McLaren senna gtr closely followed with the sian
He is only talking about the 1:8 scale cars which the McLaren senna gtr is not

Yeah I'm sad too, I just bought the Chiron, but I also want to collect the Porsche 911
These cars are all members of the Volkswagen family, not expecting a red Ferrari but you never know
the green color is because the car itself is green
I hope they make a Koenigsegg and make it motorized so that the gearbox actually makes sense
I'm so upset I skipped the 911. I just cannot bring myself to drop $790 on it aftermarket. :/
They need to figure out a wind shield. I hate the openness
Wunderbar!

Bugatti is not the pizza place Alex. It is Bu"gotty". Like the mob boss. LOL! Sorry, I don't know why that was bugging me.
I appreciate you telling me.
they could have changed the blue and red pins to black. just laziness
They could've but it would be harder to build cuz of all the black and green pieces but good point
I would choose lambo, cause of the gear box
I dont think he knows that the Lamborghini has atoumatic opening doors
Heres a video on how to fix Bugatti's the suspension
