Lmao can you give a timestamp? I wanna see this for myself, but I can't find it in the video? Edit: nvm, I saw that he just criticized the fact that the Formula E set has no openable doors
About the swashplate mechanism - the first two technic helicopters had working collective levers, sets 852 and 8844. Just a shame Lego decided to simplify the sets after that and just go for straight rotors.
dang i have almost all of these lego technic sets but when i first got my airbus i was playing with the motor alot even though i didnt know what it was for first
I wish the F1 car would have been better. I made an alternate build of the Land Rover into an F1 that had hand of God steering, a DNR selector, and a fully functional 8-speed transmission, using only the parts from the set. Put it on my channel. This was before the F1 was unveiled, so I was excited, since I knew it was possible to make a complex gearbox into such a small body. But when I found out the new F1 didn’t have a gearbox, I immediately lost interest. Good video!
As someone who owns both, I can actually confirm this. The only reason I bought the BMW in the first place is because the Lego store I was at didn't carry the Ducati anymore. I was gifted that one later. In my opinion, the Ducati is the perfect balance between being technically complex enough to make the build exciting, and being small enough that it doesn't end up feeling like a slog to build. Also, I had a problem with the BMW's scale; I felt that they should have introduced some larger piston pieces. You build this enormous gearbox that's almost as complex as that in a $400 supercar, then you stick this dinky little row of pistons on top of it.
I’m looking at buying the bmw off Ali peeress bc it’s cheaper. I have the Ducati, it by far my favorite set. It so fun to build because it’s sort of trucker with the compact gearbox and motor, at 60 dollars it’s a steal and it looks good
The ten dollar motorbike and telehandler are the best technic models ever. They look great, are fun to build, easy to store, sturdy enough and feature more functions than any 50/60 buck pull back sets!
Have both of the 10€ sets. The telehandler set has a lot of versatility with its worm gear and 3 gear wheels. However, the chopper does look cooler, with its engine pistons and chain.
Even if you try to put steering into the Porsche, you won’t be able to actually drive it. When steering with 4 wheels, all of them have to be able to spin independently, and in this case, you also have to sacrifice the pull back lever lock as well, which will overall decrease the overall durability of the car, because you have to split the rear axle in half.
steering would still work just without full traction. maybe a fun challenge would be to try to add a differential to the rear connected to the pullback motors
@@Unbrickme that may actually make it slower, but if it's just as slow as the traditional pullbacks, then I think fair enough. Because this thing is freaking fast when fully cocked
Great vid, I would want some of these sets but they a bit pricy. Do you know the cheapest way to get a few of the new differentials, some tread links, suspension pieces and pneumatics?
Great video!!! I really want to get the LEGO Technic Ferrari Daytona or the LEGO Technic CAT D11 bulldozer, but because of the new price, I'm so disappointed. Does anyone have any reasons or theory of why LEGO raised the prices when they are already expansive?
I have a question, which lego technic do you think is the best for a beginner? I never actually bought a lego technic but i watch a lot of your videos and i really want one. I know you said the ducati panigale is a good beginner set, but i dont know if the jeep wrangler or the ford raptor could be good too. Also i just wanted to say i really appreciate the effort you put in your videos.
I recommend 42128 for a beginner. The set includes basic gear, shaft connection and more importantly the pneumatic system. It was my first tech set and then I get addicted 🤩
Hi UnbrickMe Please make 4 videos on All Lego Technic official B model Cranes, All Lego Technic official B model excavators, All Lego Technic official B model Trucks, All official B model Pneumatic Construction sets. It would be of great help, but no pressure, nooo pressssurre. Thanks.
hey um so i Customized my lego 42138 but without any steering cuz I'm broke all i gave was some good looks so it looks even better edit: i also gave it some opening dooors by modding the parts at the doors
Wow! I can relate soooo much to this video! 😃😃😃I also removed the front bumper of the megalodon! I can also agree that it´s the best monster jam set! I chose it because it looks cool and is surprisingly accurate to a real shark! I also like how you said that the formula E looked better than the Ford mustang! I actually own this set, and felt bad when racing brick said that the mustang looked better. I also was surprised when I saw functional pistons in the chopper! I also own this set. I own the helicopter, and it’s amazing. Love this video, keep up the good work!
I hate to tell you but that helicopter pitch control is not the first one. They made that design waaaaay before 2000. Not sure exactly when but im 40 years old now and I had a friend with a technic helicopter with the same design when i was maybe 12 or even younger. it was so long ago im not sure when it happened.
I genuinely love lego, but I haven't bought myself any lego for years now only cause the price 😕. I don't get why it's so expensive, they could definitely take the price down by at least 25% and still make a shit ton of money, only difference would be more customers.
Well I don't know about that, the money to create the lego is probably 10 - 25% of the tag. The more expensive Legos are marketed quite a bit and that money has to come from somewhere. Not to mention lego has to pay workers in factories. So cutting the prices by 25% wouldn't be a smart business idea.
lol the first one u compared the formula e and the mustang wich i was tryin to pick inbetween ended up being mustang was about 1 week ago so i thought it was funny
2022 was not a great year for technic sets...to say the truth from 2020 sets are not so interesting, often no B models, too many stickers ecc...prefer older sets..
Lego gets more expensive, piece quality is getting worse and the price per piece is insane. Moldking or other brick brands are way better. I can't understand, why people buy lego in 2022, when there are so much better brands lol.
7:17 i build the set when I was 9 years old. One of my favourite sets ever 🎉😊
So you are 11 now?
What sucks about the John Deere is how they don't allow you to disassemble it once it's built
Openable doors in a formula E car 💀
fr where did that come from

oh jeez i forgot about that! thank you for reminding me! daytona car has been put on my list of priorities

Maybe I'm crazy but, owning the Ducati Panigale set, I don't really feel tempted with BMW M 1000 RR that much.

Those AR challenges actually look pretty cool, having to stop at certain places determined on how much you wind it up
I bought two of the chopper bikes and made a single quad bike from the two. And it looks great!!!
I think this was a good year for us. I'm hopeful next year can be as good or better... really can't wait for the new crane...

On my red crane clay one I put a big blue air tank on the side so you didn’t have to pump it up when playing btw love the video
Happy to have the top 3 and 1
I just got the heavy duty tow truck, tool 7 hours to build. I modified it into a RC truck
The airbus was the first technic set i'd built since I was a kid. I think I spoiled myself by accidentally picking the best one first.
I think the F-150 Raptor should be here. Had an absolute blast building it

Don't forget that BMW motorcycle has the biggest tires of any Lego set ever.
I truly love my m1000rr.
i hate when lego sets have no windows so i just ad a rubber band crossed on it "That'll do for now.."
The helicopter at the end, why did you include it for the 2023 worst to best Lego technic sets?
how does this man:?? what? lego???
im pretty sure lego 9396 had a working swash plate
Amazing video as usual.. thank you my dear friend for this great video ❤️❤️
I appreciate the support!
You can’t complain about the mclaren f1 car for not having a gearbox, it’s not meant to be a 300$+ set, it’s like the Ferrari.
Your videos are excellent and so cool! My respect!
Thank you so much I greatly appreciate your support
I don't know how, but mine BMW's transmission started to jam a lot. I tried to reassemble it but nothing changed😥
hello unbrickme i have the 4394 set the dolphin clock and i wonder for what price should i put?

Hey nice number on the promo
Hello, unbrickme, you made another great video with the sets, how are you today, because the last video was 4 weeks ago, anyways great video
Sorry about the four week delay. Honestly I didn’t realize it was that long. Felt like two weeks at most
@@Unbrickme it’s ok even though I was worried you shouldn’t rush videos
Like a week or two
Is enough
But for truly great videos it takes 3 or 4 weeks
Would you suggest the kneumatic tow truck from last year or the new airbus helicopter from this year?
depends whether you want motorized functions or pneumatics. imo I like 42128 more but that's just because I like trucks and pneumatics more.
69 peices? Noice
what is the first song used
i bought the Mclaren and i think it’s way better then the pull backs
I plan to get the transformation vehicle soon ish ™️
