      Well, I haaaad to watch it AGAIN and I have to say more of the other rooms, like how many in all.... A quick look into each room/door to a room, with a follow thru to the most unique (off to the secret stairs here) if that makes sense.
      The video is inviting nonetheless 🎉
      Bravo

      I appreciate it! For the videos already recorded and being edited (we have some exciting ones) we can't incorporate that feedback, but next week we go on another shoot and I'll try to do every room. It's tough when they are 10,000 SF, but maybe the vide just has to be longer. As you think of more, let me know, I'd like to "speed run" the improvement of the channel.

    I wonder what it would cost to bring it back to a working winery/vineyard again. Also would be cool to rehab the stables, and make money boarding horses. You could rent one of the workman’s flats, and have your horse right there. Create horse trails throughout the property. I would also have weddings there. So many ways to monetize this beautiful property!

      There really is so much potential -- it's a great property.
      I like your plan with the horses. There is tons of extra space that didn't make the final cut. Happy to connect you with Merrillees if you have more questions. Thanks for watching!

      Have seen a lot of properties, from a few hundred thousand dollars to a few million dollars to a few hundred million dollars. This is probably the only one I must say is worth every penny, if it's around $3.2M - $3.5M. There likely are a lot of repair and restoration that must be done and kept up... but for those who love authentic properties from the 1800s that were built with a lot of bricks and actual beams/woods, this is it. But for it to come with ~25 ACRES of land, too? Surely, there's a catch somewhere, somehow! It's just too good to be true! It's probably located in a county/district where the crime rate is, oh, 100 per 100,000 a year? LOL

      @@kiabtoomlauj6249 There is great value in France! I loved it, too -- it was in a nice area (near Carcassonne in the south). After we finished filming the owners showed us some more of the outbuildings and "Tenant Farm" as they called it. I kept thinking how 10 friends should all buy it together.
      There was a whole unfinished upstairs in the main house, but it wasn't in bad shape, just needed a bit of love. The property was so big it was hard to tour it all in the time we had.
      Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions.

    You won't believe what $3,000,000 buys you in Canada. In any of the major cities, a shack. ;-)

      @philipwellsrealestate  10 месяцев назад

      What's the average price per square foot where you are? Should we do a video in AU?

    • @kaloarepo288
      @kaloarepo288 10 месяцев назад

      In Sydney according to Google it's A$1,990 per square foot (Sept.2023) and I presume it's a little lower in Canberra but not much lower. High rate of immigration (by design) keeps house prices very high in Australia.Unfortunately there a very few castles and chateaux in Australia!@@philipwellsrealestate

    The chapel is my favorite building. I would turn that space into an house and live in it .

      It was even better in person! They have saved all of the stained glass for you.
      You probably would also have liked the top floor of the main house, which was unfinished and we didn’t show. It’s pictured in the listing linked in the description.

      It really is an incredible property, and was hard to capture even in our 12 minute video. We didn't make it up to the finished attic or to some of the outbuildings-- there was so much to caputer. It is a 10-15 minute drive to town and close to several airports, even though it feels remote. Glad you enjoyed it!
