What a lovely idea, Toby. I will definitely be giving this a try. And they would make lovely presents for Christmas etc. Thank you for showing us and sharing. 😊👍
Toby - you tryin’ to make me successful?? Thank you for these types of tutorials for us beginners. I have purchased a couple of your classes also but your RUclips videos are also awesome! 🙏🧑🎨💃
I love this concept Toby - they look fantastic presented like this. By sketching and painting smaller it focusses the mind and the hand. What a lovely reminder of your wedding day. I also liked the way you appeared to really take your time doing this (a relatively long video). I just need to think of 3 simple scenes that go well together and mean something to me
Hi Toby. I really like the micro paintings and is something I’ve done in the past. I’ve slowed down with my sketching and painting working on a few other types of projects but I plan to get the brushes wet again very soon. Thanks for keeping your videos filled with new and interesting ideas. Namaste…Sharon
Lovely. Thank you. I did mini sketches on a month cycle tour and they worked so well and i wanted to recreate some of them for framing, this has given me plenty of ideas.
Do you ever have problems with paint beading on the surface of your tin palette? Having enjoyed your videos, and taking inspiration from you, I just got one yesterday. I’ve found it impossible to mix colors because the paint just beads up instantly. I’d appreciate any tips you’d have to correct this since I really like the modularity and customizability of the 14 half pan palette. Thank you for the videos!
Thanks for sharing your work and enthusiasm, love to see what's next.
So nice to see artists using fountain pens instead of throw away plastic liners
Love watching you draw and paint
Fountain pens for the win

Excellent! That's how I use 8x8 and 9x12 sketchbooks / paper. 👍 Several sketches per page / sheet.
That's a great idea!

Hi Toby- how big are your squares and how far apart are they?? Thanks! Love this idea!!
2 inches big, and the eighth of my masking tape apart, maybe 1.5cm
Excellent. Really enjoyed this
Glad you enjoyed it
Great idea! and very do-able. Thankyou Toby. Can't wait to try this. Now...what 3 (or 9) images can I use 🤔 😊

Hi Toby. Which masking tape are you using? I couldn’t find a masking tape in the list of supplies in your website.
I use any old masking tape 😁 nothing special !

Sound like you just need more water and paint in the palette. It can only bead up for me if there is a tiny amount of painting I'm using...
I’ll try that out and let you know how it goes. Thank you!
Good😊
Thank you! 😃
