I’m so glad you mentioned the difference in price for Copics in Japan and US. People don’t realize that they are super expensive compared to other brands because they are not only for professionals but most importantly, imported.
when japan opens tourism again, one of the things i want to stock up on is copic markers, because they're so much cheaper in Japan.
I keep going to the COPIC site in Japan hoping that I can purchase some COPIC markers because spending close to a thousand dollars to get the full set here is totally crazy. I hope Japan eventually allow you to shop from their store site.
I own more art supplies than I need right now and have no business buying more, so it was very satisfying watching someone else shop! Just a tip (and something that I always forget) at Blick in case you didn't notice it - the watercolor paper/blocks/sketchbooks are in the watercolor aisle instead of the sketchbook aisle.
Finding out that copic markers are only $2 to $3 in Japan. 😭 Time to go over there just for art supplies!

Oh my goodness they still make the canson fanboy pads! Those were my go to when I was attending my university. Yes it does work well with Copic and just alcohol markers in general. (Also it works with watercolor too! I did a mixed media commission and it handled everything from watercolor to markers)
Oh this is good to know I draw in watercolors and looking for a affordable mix media paper to try.
@@moonlightgator541 I know it's late but YEAH! It's textured enough to hold watercolor and sturdy enough to not warp. I will sometime use like the big binder clips to hold down the other edges for insurance in that. All in all I'm super happy to see that it's still being made.

been going to Blick for 8 years now, still my favorite art store to shop in. Michael's price is a bit on the high side but I would still opt in when they have some good coupons going on and buy one get one free deals
Do not buy anything under the Boss Ross name! Don't give them any of your money. Instead, just draw Bob Ross or find his art supplies/colors under another brand. Anyways, there's no Blick near me, but I love going to Jerry's Artarama. Michael's is expensive. (Unless you only buy the stuff on sale!)

My suggestion is to customise the letters that spell “MINORI”! Either if you paint them, draw on them, or other it would be so fun to watch :D
Each time i see posca paint pens i always remember you because you use them a lot 🤣 anyway the art haul is fun! I hope we can get to see you trying out the new art supplies later!
When u do extreme things it is but I love how calm u are every time u do this challenge! And also get things u need I got in the habit to not get things often coz of u! I save money instead
I've used that same Canson illustration paper with my Copics and it works really well, the ink blends together very smoothly.

I love that store :) funny to see you here in the US in a store I’ve been to before ^_^ the last thing I bought there were Holbein colored pencils from Japan ^_^ lovely colors but much more expensive because of the import. Also their watercolors are really beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
I am in awe! 😯😲 I've wanted to buy some posca pens, just posca pens, for so long! And I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. I feel so bad every time because that's money we need for bills, or food and we just can't afford it. So for you to go through and buy literally everything you wanted, is unfathomable to me!!! Thought you would've packed and brought your Copics with you! :D While you're in the US, try ordering Ohuhu brush markers! 36 skin tone set and 216 set if you want to have every colour lol Think you'd love them. Love your vids and glad you're with you're back with your F&F again
I love Blicks! Its my favorite art store ever! Me too I want to do screen printing too! The are some watercolor sketchbooks too but you can use the mix media for watercolor too. Copic markers are expensive in California

Copics in America is expensive, so I would recommend Ohuhu markers. They work and cheap

I never shopped at Blick in person. There isn't a location near me but I shop them online a lot. Great products! I can't belive how cheap Copic is in Japan! I bought some posca on Amazon a couple weeks ago theyt had an insane deal! It was 12 markers for $20! I felt like I got a steal! I don't expect you will like the paper you chose for watercolor. I didn't like it much. The canson mixed media paper series of really fast making wet on wet meat impossible. There isn't any cotton in it at all. It's fine for watercolor pencils, watercolor markers, gouache, and Gelatos, but actual watercolor artworks, it's really hard to let the paint flow. I will stay watching, I would like to see what you think of it. But you never say anything negative. Your just too sweet! Lots of love from TN!

Another lovely art Haul 🎨 😍, when Cricut sent you the promotional materials a while ago, they would have sent you a email, send them a email asking for the states main offices, and send them a email explaining that your in the states alot more often and they should send you the machine to unbox and use on your channel. Hope it helps and hope you make the move back to your home town, for your parents if anything else lol parents always miss us loads 😉 😊 xx

Blocks also makes their of flat paint at $1.00 each, maybe a bit more now, but one of my favorites for coverage and to work on top off with pencils and markers. Luminance color pencils by Caran D’ache are the best.

for like drawing books, strathmore is a really good brand. canson is good aswell but the paper is usually thinner. if you do get strathmore, 400 series+ is gud
