I play soccer and my whole soccer team JV and Varisty runs cross country so we are prepared for soccer. The key is take a sport that has a lot of running like soccer in between XC and track to keep you in shape.
Hey Evan, I have been loving your videos. As a runner myself in Australia, I am very passionate in XC and track. When I got injured with Sever's disease I tried a variety of cross training methods and from my experience cross training is crucial, look at Parker Valby for example who only runs 30 miles a week with the rest as cross training in college. I noticed you briefly mentioned aqua jogging, after trial and error after many months I have worked out how to do it properly, however I found it really hard to know how to do properly as there was virtually no proper informing videos or information that I could find and only recently my coach told me that once the technique is down it actually is more beneficial to learn to aqua jog without a belt. I would recommend creating a nice tutorial video on all things aqua jogging (;. Keep it up! Thanks.
tbh for a summer rotation i'd recommend two daily trainers over a daily and a speed shoe. There isn't really much work in the summer that requires speed shoes
Don’t use overly cushioned shoes tho for a rotation. I started wearing cushioned shoes one time and got plantar fasciitis like a week later because it made my form so much worse. Cushioning doesn’t give your joints less impact, it makes you feel like there’s less impact. I go with the most minimalist shoes I can manage for easy runs, then I’m gonna get workout shoes during cross
Hey Evan I js finished my 7th grade cross country season getting top 5 out of all the 8th/7th grade races, but had some problems with my heart rate any tips on keeping that lower?
Where I live, It's hard to train in the winter because there is lots of snow and I might not have the flexibilty to go my local recreation center that day. Any tips to stay in shape on these days?
Ik im not Evan but creatine takes around 2-3 weeks to see results. You also need to take it daily without missing a day. I personally found that I can recover and stay more fresh through hard workouts. I have been taking creatine for around a month and a half now.
If you’re injured mid season, the track swimming workouts are great to keep up fitness. If you’re purposely taking a break then easy swimming would be the best option in my opinion.

I do the Arc trainer they usually have them at gyms or like a ymca, you can get your heart rate as high as you do on a run when you’re doing it, and it’s super low impact. It’s helped me a ton to build fitness!
so i am in 7th grade and i don't do sports yet but I'm fast. So every time its summer i get slow?? Then when its school time I'm faster then before is that just me or y'all too

How long have you been taking creatine? I just started and was wondering what results you got from it/what you like

How do I keep fitness for two weeks when I might not be able to run as much?

Cool.
i have shin splints and im tryna figure out a way to increase/maintain my cardio while not being able to run

What editing software do you use?
