Thanks so much for taking the time to share your trip so far, I am just following your Montenegro section, so plenty to catch up on...one question. We are looking to van build etc when I retire (couple of years time hopefully) and we are torn with the long wheelbase over the medium - I am that bit older than you guys so toilet/showers is a necessity how do you find the manoeuvrability of the long wheelbase? has it stopped you getting anywhere you wanted to?
Thank you so much, appreciate you watching 😊 We love the LWB, suits us really well and is perfect for living in. Manoeuvrability wise it’s not much different to a MWB, I think whatever van you have you get used to it. Hope all goes well! 😊
Love the van so great job and thanks for the tour,, Could you tell what make etc the water heater is as that sounds a great idea as i am wanting to get rid of lpg from my van,,,Stay safe 👍👍🚙🚙
Thanks Julian 🙂 The heater is made by a company called ISOTEMP. I think they're a subsidiary of Webasto. There is more than likely a new model now as we fitted ours in 2019. Can't recommend them enough 👍
Hello, the walls are MDF panelling sprayed with a white shell. They’ve been pretty tough and haven’t had any issues with them. They’re also lightweight 😊
Hi, been really enjoying your videos. Can you share the details of the water heater please? I’m currently building my own van and I am looking for alternate options from a Truma Boiler vs Diesel Heater and Water heater so need an option for a water heater. Thanks in advance.
Thanks very much for your comment, really appreciate you watching 😊 Yeah, so we have a Isotemp 16L water heater. It’s got a 750w element inside it and runs off our 2000w inverter with no issues. It’s been installed for 3 years now with no glitches 😊
Hi. Amazing conversion. Thank you for sharing the video! If you don't mind me asking, how much approximately did you guys spend on the conversion (apart form the vehicle purchase price)? Also, did you do things yourself or did you hire professionals to do electrical, plumbing, etc work?
We LOVE your van guys!! Such a great tour video, love the bathroom and so nice to be able to cook with amazing views :)
Thanks guys! 😊✌️

Hi, van conversion looks great, can you tell me where you bought your baskets that are attached to the end of the cabinet by the back doors.
Hello! Thanks for watching 😊 The baskets are from H&M home

@@WeBoughtAVan thank you 🙏
@@WeBoughtAVan thanks for the reply. One last question. Does it heat 16ltrs only or does it provide constant hot water of more than 16ltrs at a time?
@@anyjimblogs it heats 16L of useable hot water. 16L provides us with 2 good showers and washing up. Surprising how far 16L of hot water goes!

The conversion cost us around £15,000 and we did everything ourselves 😀
