This is actually "Jewel Robbery" from the fourth season.
Gem Robbery.
24:00, thats one thing that police officers are trained not to do today: fire their gun when theres a hostage in the line of fire.
Gray 4 door sedan......same car in an earlier episode except that was a 59 ford, not a parade float.
love it. I like how he shot out the tire. The tires were white walls and he shot out a black wall tire.
I like your comment. You are absolutely right! Bravo!
The car with white walls @ 23:56 is a 1958 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 4-dr hardtop. The hubcap @ 24:05 is from a 1957 Mercury Montclair or Monterey as they both had the same caps. Dan definitely shot wide this time.
Yes ,he not only shot, A black wall tire,, And wrong car,,, But it showed their Back tire, It still had Air in it,,, Why didn't they just loosen the valve,, On the right One,,, 3 bloopers in a row,,,lol, Don't you love it,,, Doesn't take away from the show, 1,black wall tire,, ,,,,2, Wrong wheel cover,,, 3, Their tire wasn't flat,,
@@tomcarpenter700 So many mistakes in one episode! Also, after Dan shot out the black-wall tire on a car with white-walls he must have gone on break because he's nowhere in sight on the road when the other car arrives.
@@tralfazydan= Now you see me, now you don't,,,😂
Joan Granville . . easy on the eye ,also in the episode Women escapees
When I first saw this episode as a kid I just knew the blonde secretary was dishonest. In the series she wasn't the only one. Love how the kidnapped woman has the guts to stand up to them.
Dan gets shot at on just about every show. Hats were big back then. Even the crooks were a coat and tie. I remember those push button cars. I used to own a '59 Desoto. You shifted by pushing a button with your left hand. I like to watch this show for the old cars.
Wouldn’t the fact her car was still at the station be a clue?
Who is secretary? She's good actress
Dan Mathews the road block King.
@23:45 Mathews moves cat-like towards his objective
Mountain. Goat mathews
If she didn't notice Matthews in that big Beautiful black Imperial 20 feet from the phone booth or him following her, she deserves to get caught
Mathews revolver has the muzzle velocity of a slingshot, and couldn't hit the wall of a barn from inside the barn.
According to the IMDB, this was the one and only screen credit Norma Wayne (she played the kidnapped secretary Rita Hudson) ever had. I wonder why?
The New Yorker was not necessarily a Hemi car. I'm willing to bet the Desoto Firefight was. It was the top line sport model. I had a 55 Firedome, lime green and white.
18:12 What the hell?! He hits the car. You're gonna have to pay for that pal! ..Hahaha
Nobody hit a car. Whatchoo talkin bout?
An awesome episode, though, one of the most violent ones I have seen, those robbers were real hoods
Glendale!
i love the big mopars
Glendale Depot..opening sequence
Grey hair turns into white hair, and it turns out it’s black
Title is wrong. This is s4 ep19 Gem Robbery
R they all driving the same kind of car??
Plymouths, Dodges, Chryslers and Imperials of the fifties have many parts in common and make them look alike at times. Front windshields to name one.
