Season 3/Episode 28
Brodrick Crawford mostly played tough guys but was so charming. I think he is the reason these programs were so popular despite being pretty routine otherwise.
"Why do they go for their guns? That's our job"? Right there, that attitude, that programming is why Americans began thinking that it was law enforcements job to protect us, when law enforcement's job is to investigate crime, not act as protection. Learn how to operate, and maintain firearms. Teach your children.
You Need A Box Of Kleenex With This Episode
Dan Matthews What A Great Cop And Friend You Dont See That In Today's World.
This Is My Favorite Episode 2150 Bye❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice to think there was a time when the good guy won and the bad guy lost.
I Always Wanted To Be A Cop But Not In Today's World.
Today's Cop Shows Are Crap.Highway Patrol Is A Classic.
We Miss Broderick Crawford Very Much ❤
Woman Dressed Like Ladies Back Then Not Like Todays Woman❤
This is a later episode, I can tell by the cars. I know I'm not the only one who remembers the new cars, each year. The excitement of the neighborhood children, each time a neighbor got one! Imagine, stealing $50K! What a rat, she turned out to be.
This must be an earlier episode, as the cars look like they are from 1955-56. I love the automobiles. I wish cars were so stylish today. All these episodes are wonderful. I remember the individually owned motels, though I only stayed in 2, before I was an adult. They still have great motels that are privately, or individually owned, that I've stayed in many times, in State College, Pa.
I love the cars! I wish people today could see them, but the only way to do that, is at an auto show, or in Cuba. The way the Cubans take care of their cars is amazing. Excellent show. I love the shows my parents wouldn't let me watch, as a 3 year old.
Woman Should Dress Like That Today
Dont Do The Chrime If You Cant Pay The Time
No border cards needed said woky Biden.....
The blonde sister is a real B****! For a 1950s TV show.
I may be wrong. I don't think you would leave a police car in an open desserted field .
When Dan approached those kids you would have thought the kids would have sensed 'stranger danger" !!. Nowadays that would positively apply. 25:16
I enjoy these episodes and I really like the scenery and the cars of that era. I think if someone would study the scenes and areas where filming took place and do a then-and-now type RUclips story showing the houses and buildings and other locations it would be interesting to see the changes that have taken place over the decades. Speaking of changes how about retiring on $250.00 a month?
I love how even 2 bit criminals often wear suits and ties to pull their jobs.
Dan put the younger man in jeopardy.
They usually do a pretty decent job of tying up the loose ends at or near the end of each episode, but they left one huge loose end with this one. Did he really spread Typhoid to the child? He said he made sure to not touch anything that could have possibly spread the disease, and a couple of times it was mentioned that she could have picked it up any number of ways. Did he or didn't he? If so, with the very limited contact he would have had with her and the constant contact he would have had with the other workers, the chances are that he didn't spread it to her, but... How DID she become infected and why was no one else infected?
Once again a lot of great cars, especially the black Chrysler New Yorker four door sedan that Dan and Ken drive undercover. A masterpiece ! Thanks.
I noticed the actor who played the villain in the hat got accidentally caught in the shot before his cue at 17:05, look behind the wife, in the barn. His surrender must have been shot next.
Patrolman Ken Williams (Wiliam Boyett) is called Johnson again... strange ! Thanks anyway, it 's always nice to watch... and the Dan's Chevrolet hard top is a beauty.
I just love it when women stubbornly hide information from the police, but still expect them to find their child. Also she lies to her child because she knows the girl wouldn't want to go along with her plan if she knew the truth. I think she suspected the truth (kids are often not as dumb as their mothers think they are), that's why she ran away
Dan looks the bump on the head. That's not too bad. Didn't know he was a general practicer MD.
4 hours on a lie detector test ? I've been on dates w tricky women that lasted 1/2 as long as that
I heard the name ACME ,I think of WILE COYTE & the ROADRUNNER
I love the time era this was filmed. 1955-59. Simpler times!
What A Evil Face He Is in A Few Highway Patrol Episodes.
So DAN is going to leave the DOCTOR out there. He has no means of communication.
At 1:29 the camera is at 7141 Darby Avenue, Los Angeles looking north. In the background the small building with the white top and chimney (to the right of the "Anita" building, 18353 Sherman Way) is still there in 2024!
This whole world is filled with stupid punks
Ah, the simpler time, of the half-hour melodrama.
This show is the stupidest fucking show on television anyone who watched it must’ve been deranged
She's nice looking
THESE ARE REAL COPS NOT LIKE TODAYS COPS.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love that sweet '57 Mercury convertible !!!!!!!!.
Love the cars and the old fashion police work.
@northdakotaham1752; I agree with you 100% about that Jeep !!!!!!. They never get out of style !!! , and back then they were simply assembled !! . They were were easy to work on when I was in the Army during ' Nam !!!!.
The way Police are supposed to act.
Dan did one hell of a birnout
DAN At ending, say you know something, I am still hungry 😋
Why wasn't he taken to a hospital.
Great episode with the gorgeous Stuart Williams ! Thanks.
Good looking couple, He the Clarke Gable look. She, well dressed in dress and heels. Nice looking Car. Would have gotten away with it if he didn't decide to rob jewelry store. Killing the old man. I thought he loved me.
