I started calisthenics a year ago after years of weight training and am amazed at how much more control I now have over my body. And now you are teaching me how to take control of my mind in an affirming and enriching way to build a more healthy and happy life. I am a life learner. Thank you!

Will using these over time help someone believe them more? I always love the idea of affirmations but whenever I've tried they sometimes feel silly or like I'm not being truthful. Even though part of me wants to embrace it
Yes! I know it can be hard when you first start. It's easy to feel like an imposter. I felt that way when I started using them. Like I was lying to myself, BUT the only way to change that mindset is to work on it. Starting an affirmation and gratitude practice radically changed my confidence and how I show up for myself - although it did take time. If you can sit each day and work on calling in the feeling of what you are saying, you'll begin to heal and take inspired action. Often we wait for something outside of us to change how we feel inside of us. Using an affirmation practice, you take control of how you feel. Time to sink and embrace it - even if it's just as a tester. Maybe do it for two weeks each morning, then evaluate if anything has changed.
