Is it true that D.C is so well built that almost all of the city including all of its monuments would stay intact despite being ground zero in a nuclear blast? Hell. Even the buildings around the White House that were near a direct hit survived. That's some good engineering. I can't say the same about the suburbs though, because the game shows little to nothing standing outside of the blast radius. Oh yeah. I guess downtown Pittsburgh is built good too as its still standing in the game.

Peripherony its seems that whenever a game has a library, that library level sucks. Halos library gave me nightmares and metro did as well. Dont get me started on the harry potter games library

Being a fallout elitest who knows almost all the lore and everything about all the fallout games, I would have to say this is the most accurate and lore abiding recap of the series.

I’ve learned more about my country from a red panda theorizing about the location of where Fallout 3 takes place than from school.
I like how siding with Autumn and siding with the Brotherhood result in the same outcome, except the baddies in power amour get to take credit for project purity instead of the goodies in power armor that Bethesda forces you to support.

For your "Game Theorizing" you didn't take into account that there dozens of towns named Washington in the US. There's one that's about half an hour away from my home town, so Fall Out 3 could take place practically ANYWHERE in the US.

Real talk - Fallout 3 is so amazingly made thst during my playthrough I somehow skipped the Galaxy News part, because during my adventures I travelled to the boat city and accidentally met the doctor
It's actually quite beneficial to start off every play through by swimming straight down the river to Rivet City, so you can get the intelligence bobblehead, so you can get more points when you level up. Surprisingly it's actually fairly easy even at level one and with nothing but starting equipment. That's actually how I start every single playthrough. So I end up meeting the doctor, but then I go to Galaxy news radio anyways.

very late but the crashing wasn't from messing with ini files, fallout 3 doesn't work on modern computers very well and the two lines he added in are needed to keep it running for more than 5 minutes at a time. took me a shamefully long time to figure that out when i started playing
