I just purchased a 2024 570 FS. Very happy with it for working in it. Your part one video and your 10,000 mile video was very very good to help me know what to look for. So far my only gripe has been shifting it into Park is never smooth. But overall, I am still very, very happy with this unit after I got it set up and accessorized for everything I needed to work in it. Thank you for making your videos . They're five years old but still relevant today since the 570 has not changed.
My family got this a year ago for an amazing deal and it has been proving it's worth with it's incredible usefulness. They got it for a really low price with a windshield, rear window, hard top, winch and snowplow. It has been perfect for towing old military vehicles out of hard to get to areas and transporting parts in and out of tight spaces. It's super fun to take it for a spin with my friends in my backyard, especially drifting in snow, and it has never given me any issues starting or driving. My complaints are the fact that the gear shift is really weird about shifting to reverse and will lock up wheels if it isn't perfectly in place, and the front left tire always starts to go flat after a week without air. I've never had trouble with the bed itself or it's latches, but the tailgate is too fragile and will break out of its alignment if it gets looked at by something heavy. It pops right back into place when you slap it, but it's annoying. The bumper is pathetic and would rather bend 90 degrees than stop the vehicle when it's going 5 mph. These are pretty minor problems, otherwise I have never had any other problems with the Ranger! It's a great 4x4 for utilities and for fun and it's amazingly cheap with all the features you need.
That’s just what I want 1000 mL ranger quite a lot of money to enclose it thanks for the information I trust you next year Polaris 570 I have a Polaris 1000 sportsman I love it plus now beautiful but it’s too cold I’m 65 years old I’m gonna see if I can get 570 enclosed Ranger and see how much they want where are you located I am in Albany New York
I feel it's okay to pressure wash an engine bay area, but I don't generally focus a lot on the engine itself. I generally tried to not direct the washer at the spark plug or wire area as well as the electrical components on the throttle body Etc. Also want to be careful how much you spray around the air filter box. And always never pressure wash an engine that is hot. Let it cool down before you wash it
The Pro Steel cab is no longer available from Polaris, but there is one very similar to it sold by side by side stuff. Com, that I would look into. I think you can get it for less than 3000
How do you like the SuperATV power steering? Although the new 570's have it as an option i chose the cheaper model to install it myself later, which i just ordered a few hours ago... I
I'm having good luck with the Super ATV kits. The only problem I've encountered is on the 1st two kits I put on the 570 full sizes, the lower shaft coming out of the power steering motor between it and the steering rack had a pretty bad wobble in it. I got in touch with them they warrantied the shafts and things have been great ever since. I think it was some of the first kits they had put out for that model. Because they had not had them available previous. Going on almost two years now with them and they've worked great. The only thing I would change is I wish they were a little bit easier to steer. Some of the old 800 we had you could steer with one finger, these take a little more effort than that. I think By Design because they were having some people getting too carried away with the easy steering and having accidents. I would expect you'll be more than happy with your kit!
I have a 2018 570 full size. Wondering what tires you have on yours and how well they work in snow. Also if you had to do any clutch work when putting them on. Thanks!
As far as I know the 2018 are the same as the 2017 s we have. I am running 26x9 fronts, 26x11 rears. The tires are Kenda bear claw HTR 's. We've had them on two machines for 2 years now, and I can say they are probably the best tire I have ever run. They seem to do very well in snow mud or hard pack, and have been very tough while still riding very well for an 8 ply tire.. best of all you can find sets of them for around $450 on eBay. In 2 years the tires still have probably 75% tread life left. As far as miles go they probably have about four thousand miles on them now. One of the biggest problems I have had with ATV tires in the past is dry rot, especially on greenball tires or GBC. These kenda's show no signs of dry rot whatsoever. I have done no clutch work except for regular maintenance and a primary clutch replacement here not too long ago. These engines seem to have plenty of power spinning the tires and have just not seen the need for any clutch modifications. at 850 hours I did break my first belt here about a month ago, luckily they're half as much as a 800 or 900 belt, about $80
@@nathanscofield8703 you're welcome, and good luck with the new purchase! When you mentioned snow, I hope you saw the part of the video where I mentioned how if busting through lots of snow is your thing, you might want to pay attention to how much gets packed in behind the radiator fan. If it gets packed in there and gets hard at can stop the fan from turning on. If just going through some moderate snow and not drift busting, I don't think you'll have any problems
So far so good. All the rangers we've had dating back to the 2006 unit had turf mode, and I've never destroyed one. Never even close. I think the guys that are junking them are the ones that go into a mud hole in turf mode, then spin one tire like crazy till it grabs something. When it does it blows the differential. Turf mode is there so that you can turn easier, and not tear up the "turf" and your tires. If going into a slippery situation, best to lock the rear or just put it in awd, and you don't have anything to worry about.
I assume you mean cabs? If so, these cabs were off of our Ranger 800. They were called a pro steel cab, built by Polaris. They are no longer offered to my knowledge, but sometimes you can find them out there used or new on the internet. You can also buy a new hard cab from sidebysidestuff.com.

Got a question on cleaning! Is it ok to power wash the engine? Someone else told me yes as long as the ranger is running as u do it!

Great video were can I get a cab like that please and thank you

DieselFume1 thank you so much. And you are correct, they are the same as far as I can tell. This is my first ranger so all your info is very helpful!

I run the Kenda bear claw HTR 's on my 570 FS and LOVE them.
If a filter looks close can I use it even if it is wrong part number?
What's your thought on the transmission? Alot of guys say the turf mode is junk and will blow apart?

There also the guys that probably have 30" tires and 6" lift kits. We just bought our first ranger 900 (2016, used, 200hours) love it so far.
Where do you buy those cads

Simple is better.
Boo can you run 10w30
