Agustina answers all of you burning questions about her!
At Dreaming Spanish, you will learn Spanish the way you learned your native language, namely, through immersion. Simply start watching content at a level that is comprehensible to you, and gradually work your way towards more and more advanced videos.
As researchers like Dr. Stephen Krashen have shown over the past 40+ years, receiving comprehensible input, that is, messages that you can understand in the target language, is what actually results in language acquisition.
By listening to our stories, cultural expositions, conversations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation.
Experience the language. Become the language.

I usually struggle with and avoid Argentinian accents but Agustina speaks so clearly!
It's so soothing. I love it.
How does she speak clearly she aspirated all the s as J
Yeah, it's because she's intentionally speaking slow, which is the whole point.
I noticed as well
@@surfboarding5058
9:52 she didn't aspirated those s, "preguntitas" and "preguntas."
And there's more.
Either i underestimated my abilites, or this argentine woman speaks so clearly. I didnt think i was ready for advanced but i guess i am. I understood every word.
@@jguillermooliver Es hablar neutro, Guillermo.
Chau.
This immediately became one of my new favorite videos! Agustina brings so much joy to her videos and the topics lately have been so engaging! I love being able to learn more about the personal lives of the people I spend so much time listening to.
@@agus_boccaloniI do find your videos really interesting and fun. But you do a good job at speaking at a clear and slow pace.
Alma is back!!!❤❤
Where did she go? 😮
It's such a pleasure listening to you both.
Agustina, I can teach you Russian in the most comprehensible way, or can be your conversation partner if you wish. I am a Russian native speaker fluent in English and a few other languages, getting better and better in my Spanish with your help. Thank you for your videos!
Aprender Orc no me gusta, prefiero el Ukraniano
If only every Spanish speaker were able to speak slowly and clearly like them!
hablais tan claro! me ha encantado
That smile melts people
WEEK 4: 15/04
...Understood 100%. Knowing less than 40% of the words.
Welcome back Alma!!! Glad to see you. Agustina: Thank you for the answering many of the questions so many of us wondered about.
"Squirrel" is one that causes a lot a lot of problems
I don't think it was too hard for me but I can see why!
I speak English and don’t pronounce squirrel correctly. I pronounce it “skwerl”.
@@J_Traskthat’s the correct way to pronounce it lol
Lovely bit of squirrel
"claro ya ya está!" Tan argentina! Me encanta :P
Conozco Austria!
Habediehre!
Hola Agustina
Soy Jaime.
Me encanta vuestro canal.
To learn Russian I really recommend starting with these two teachers: ruclips.net/video/prSfxdmjNzE/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/KZcPkVxlRTc/видео.html If I were starting a Dreaming Russian they are the first two teachers I would hire.
Good call, they both look like good channels. Russian is on my shortlist of languages that I am hoping Pablo adds to his channel when he expands.
Hyggelig at du vil lære norsk!
Eller finsk!
Andrea and Agustina’s collab videos always makes me laugh lol
Mi piacciono molto i tuoi video. Ti seguo dal nord-est della Sardinia (Italia)
Agustina’s English is genuinely perfect
Except she mispronounced "jewelry."
@@scottfleming9552 depends if you’re from UK or USA
Gracias 🎉
@@castillo5148
Claro que si....
Por favor....y como podemos hacerlo?
I’m half Polish and half Argentine born in Toronto so I only speak English, Spanish , Polish and little bit of French
Wish you luck with Russian. It will open a totally new world.
I enjoyed hearing about Agustina's life and questions from Alma but I'm trying to acquire a mexican spanish accent. I'll watch all your new videos but I'm concentrating on Mexico for repeating videos.
#losiento
No tengo hermanos...
The vowels /i/ and /ɪ/ are most definitely _not_ the same. 😊 Most Spanish L1 speakers who speak English fluently still just do not produce English vowels that don't exist in Spanish's phoneme inventory, but Agustina seems to produce some, from the few times I've heard her speak a little English -- although apparently she can't even hear the /ɪ/ vowel, which is interesting.
Oh, I bet she dentalizes her voiced alveolar /d/ stops in English. Almost all Spanish L1 speakers do, as far as I can tell. Thats actually occasionally confusing to English L1 speakers, because the /d/ ends up sounding like an interdental fricative, to native English speakers.
bro what, that sounds interesting but I don't understand those words. can you explain with examples please
@@a910I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'd probably understand with examples, but all that technical stuff has me lost 😵💫
@@extraterestrial Basically meaning they pronounce /d/ sounds between their teeth with less emphasis, a bit like the combination of 'th' in words like this and the, instead of placing the tip of their toungue against the teeth ridge.
Señorita argentina, A vos te gusta hablar? Noooooooo, pero Como? Noooooo. Pero qué decís?
Andáte!
Es broma. Abrazo
Why do you speak very slow?
Because this is a channel for learning Spanish
Re fill and feel, this video compares the two sounds. The short i in English must be just as challenging for Spanish speakers as the rr and rrr are for English speakers since neither sound exists in the other language.

3:42 That was my question and I called it. Thank you so much for answering my question. You guys are the best. Also you did an awesome job of pronouncing those words "rural" and "jewelry". You're English is excellent
Imagine the positive impact if they occasionally responded to comments as well. It could be a defining factor between channels genuinely invested in their audience and those less engaged..
Alma ha vuelto!! Gracias por este video - fue muy interesante! Voy a ver la parte dos 😁
Good to see you back Alma❤
here i am, living in switerhland since about 6 months ;) if there is sth specific you want to know. I like Almas calm and funny type, thanx for the video

I’m an English native speaker and you pronounced rural and jewellery very well.
That second question reminded me of the 30 Rock episode when Jenna was making a movie, The Rural Juror, but nobody could understand what it was called. Ha.
Tiene Agustina un canal propio en RUclips?
Great video! Super fun!
La Antártida ?
