Nothing like the character of rally cars. I love we got to see the LA River with a Porsche ripping through the water. I love OPP!
Ever since the day I met Paul in our work parking lot with our two German sleds…my e30M3 and and I believe his 911 T …..it was a match made in car geek heaven that was almost 30 years ago and we still are addicted!
Same with Magnus out on the track with the POC peddling around at the Streets of Willow in our “momentum” early Cars.
Two of the best car guys out there not just because of insane knowledge, pure joy and Enthusiasm they emote but the smiles they bring to others!

I love La Tortuga! Have been on a couple rallies with Paul and Ed, super good guys. I think this beats a Dakar 911 or Safari 911 any day.

WOW, great interview. I've seen this car from AutoKennel's rally videos for years, but always assumed it was a rally fitted Irish Green 912. I never could have imagined it was a 3.2 backdate!

I'm a huge Porsche fan and it all started around 1970 when I was five years old and a neighbor owned a 356 and took me for a ride.
I have owned a lot of cool cars but I have not owned a Porsche, YET.
I am hoping to have one someday soon.
I am born and raised in Los Angeles out next to LAX at the beach, now 18 months ago I moved into downtown LA. I'd love to check out your shop.
I really like what the owner did with this car. I've always liked 911 cars built for rally racing. Some guys go overboard and it seems unnecessary. This car is almost perfectly put together to be a contender and still practical and easy to work on when things break.
I like that idea but I don't want a rally car. I just want a quick, dependable (is that possible?) driver friendly 911 that looks stock, but good brakes, oil cooler, maybe a/c, and comfortable seats. Just a fun ride that I don't have to worry about too much.
Is that kind of 911 even possible to put together? I'd love to pick your brain. Maybe, since I'm an electrical contractor, half my business is from all the film and tv studios and the other half is service work for residential and commercial properties, I'd trade electrical work you might need or want for some of your knowledge. Bartering is still a great way to help each other get what they need. It has worked for mankind since the earliest days of trading between tribes. You have what I want and I have something that will benefit you or that you want. Think about it.
Well done, Magnus. This 911 is infinitely more interesting than any of the current offerings from Porsche. I get why people go crazy for these air-cooled cars.

What a great car! I'm watching this and thinking that I'd love to have an old air cooled 911 like this but living in northern NV, I'd really need a/c and like CC for those long drives. Then I see this car has both and now it couldn't be better!
Unfortunately, these early 911's are so expensive now that I can't afford to buy one. I really wish that they were just old sports cars that nobody wanted anymore and you could pick one up for under $10K but that is just a pipe dream.
