For collection boxes to make sure it has the right promo card. I found a Raichu GX box resealed with the full art Raichu missing and I could see one of the packs had a hole in the front of it. I took it to customer service and gave them a little knowledge on what happened. I was glad I found it so someone else didn't get burned on that box. A lot of stores around me are doing all sales final on trading cards.

I check the bottom crimping of single blisters inside the snap backs. Scammers around here reseal the crimps longer than factory length and you can peak through the gap of the cardboard to tell.

Its the worse feeling! Total mood killer!😡 The worse part is I never even took it back to Walmart because I don't want them thinking I'm trying to pull a fast one on them, and risk tarnishing my name and reputation at the place I frequently shop!! It can be super tough ! There has been legendary fakes! Sometimes have to take out the magnifying glass in order to see something but sometimes yea you truly never know! Always good to check tho ! I appreciate you watching the video!

Thankfully so far it's been very obvious when it's a no go, however..like you said in your video - there are things to look out for. Knowing the product is key, research as well/watching an unboxing of it beforehand if possible. I try to buy online from reputable shops to not deal with this issue, but hunting in person is too much fun so looking out for reseals comes with the territory - unfortunately.

I've been scammed multiple times. I bought a sleeved pack at this game store in my city, and I noticed there was thick glue residue and I opened it and it opened clean with no tear sounds or anything. I've spent so much money there without realizing the scams that goes on. I've bought over 12 packs there and all I got was just a Gardevoir ex. Your odds of getting a ultra rare is about 1 out of 4 because that's usually my odds. So yeah sleeved packs are super hard to spot out. I'm also pretty glad you mentioned a booklet in the ebt. I certainly hope this ebt I bought off of eBay is not tampered because the booklet thing will be the first I'll look at.

A tip I can give and it may seem obvious, but often enough you can tell if its a scam if the price is to good to be true, its a sure fire way to tell its a scam.
I'm currently bidding on a vivid voltage booster box and I can see that on one of the packs the crimp is slightly opened and can see the foil fr inside. Trying to contact the seller to delete my bid or just get my money back from eBay. Thanks for the info! Very helpful!

Got burned on some small tins this morning🤦🏽♂️ when I got home i realized they were just saran wraped. They're all supposed to have an evolutions & sword & shield pack in them & instead it was son & moon & sword & shield 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
@@PolishRob the cards 1st glance seemed legit during my opening i notice 1 pack didnt have a rare or a reserves holo. I thought maybe it was a factory error but after selling a few sv on reddit when i was packing them up i noticed they had way too much wax and the texture on the sv was off after a soild hour of looking at them i did a rip test on one, no good!

It’s such a tough feeling right!! Even at retail some boxes and tins are not that cheap so to get duped out of some hard earned money is the worst!
Honestly you will never truelly know if a box is resealled or not. That is unless the person resealing the box obviously doesn't hide it.
