It agonizes me how realistic this rendition looks since I really want this track to return so badly. GCN Wario Colosseum is not only my favorite GCN track but also my favorite Wario track in the Mario Kart series.
@@deserted4ever if they bring this track back in the next Mario Kart game, I highly doubt that it would return to the base game since N64 Wario Stadium has an inevitable chance to come to its base game. Nintendo diversified Mario Kart 8's base game retro track selection in regards to theme and character representation. So, I highly doubt that two Wario tracks would be in the next Mario Kart base game. But who knows, it wasn't as diversified in Mario Kart DS, so we may have a chance.
@@bravelion9272 I completely forgot about N64 wario stadium and yup it’s the only N64 track that hasn’t been remade so yea it’s pretty inevitable it may get remade, but honestly I still think the likelihood of colosseum returning is so high that we may get them both. I mean, MK8 has both DS wario stadium and wario’s gold mine in base game DX so I think it is possible we get both even if their themes are much closer than the former. If not in base game surely DLC
@deserted4ever the original DLC content ended up being a part of the base game when Mario Kart 8 Deluxe released. So, it might happen with the next Mario Kart game. It may start off with some DLC cups and might be added to the base game's lineup unless Nintendo will keep the same game version for a whole decade again. Lol
I appreciate that you actually polish your CTs instead of leaving them janky and broken, hope more track creators can learn from you! Although one criticism I can give is that the item sets are too spaced and makes nabbing them a little obnoxious.
Ever since the cancelled KillzXGaming remodel I've been wanting this track to be back and it looks awesome here! You can tell there's been a lot of work put into it! Personally, the fences on the side of the road could use a model instead, maybe just a simpler railing The fence textures on the sphere could use a new texture though
The mapping looks amazing. Only slight nitpick I have is that I think the road should have the embossing sticking up. To me, it looks like they're racing on the backside.
I really like it, however I think it still can get further visual improvements, especially the rail and arch meshes seem directly ripped from the Gamecube version. If the rails had some tubular meshing and the arches being less jagged with more polygons, I think that would visually improve the track a great deal.
This is one of my dream tracks for a return. I will say though I think the second lap should see you driving the track backwards. It would take a lot of finesse to get it to work backwards but I think doing at least a portion of lap 2 backwards would make the track REALLY fun.
You know what really grinds m my gears? That GCN Wario Colosseum has never been Remade! Anyways This Course looks very Fun! If I mod My Switch I am definitely Replacing Wah Stadium with this!
looks cool, but its a shame no one is trying to implement more antigravity. Its fine if you're not completely faithful to the original, as long as the end product is mostly an upgrade
In all honesty, I’d rather we’d have gotten this instead of a butchered Waluigi Stadium with no dancing signs. Wario Colosseum has two laps, so it would’ve been perfect for Tour.
