The rubberbanding was insane.
Holy crap this fixes every problem with GCN rainbow road custom tracks I've ever had. FINALLY someone who uses antigrav on the canon glider section. My only personal change would be making the corkscrew turn at the end antigrav but that's more preference than anything Very nicely done
First and only GCN RR that handles the vertical pipe well. Always thought Nintendo would probably do something like this to deal with the cannon's issues.
I love how this looks. The original map was eh, 4/10, but this map actually looks fun. 12 players would make this thing more hectic.
The wiggler car being a real wiggler freaks me out
My baby mind that could never navigate this map properly as a kid begs that you put the tour track arrows over the turns that will cause the player to go backwards 😭
This is cool this needs to come back in Mario Kart 9 or whatever

GCN Mushroom City is my favorite traffic track in the Mario Kart series.
Me To I love how unlike Toads Turnpike Moon View Highway and even Neo Bowsers City where your either on a Stright Road with To Traffic Walls Blocking you and only have a 1 to 2 way with the city to the side this City bascially set the Ground for the Tour tracks by making it feel like your in an actual place and your interacting with the city not just the cars I hope the next Mario Kart Does their City Track like this and even have a day to night setting that would be sick

This was the only course I wanted in the booster course pass. But nintendo practically ignored most of the gamecube tracks in favor of tour tracks
I hate the Peachette statue. Tbh she should have never have existed.
The only gripe I have is the lack of baked in shadows and the lack of an ambient color
One thing left is to make the N64 melody be the starting melody during the final lap to match the other Rainbow Roads that have it.
Hell yeah man!!! This’ll be the perfect finisher for my BCP!

This is amazing! Only nitpick I have with this is the conveyer belts don’t change directions. Maybe copy the function from Rainbow Road or something, but other than that, great course!
This is the best remake I’ve seen, not over scaled and the road actually looks pleasing, I hope we see this return in the next game (in 7 years)

The thing i Love about this CT is that you kept it faithful to the original with the colors, but then also added the anti gravity as well as some extra obsticals here and there. Very nice!

I think this is the most close accurate rainbow road double dash if it was on tour or 8 I like it
The remixed music is phenomenal. The second half alone (which changes the original pitch) is pure magic. ^_^
It was made by Panman. He makes some absolutely phenominal remixes. I personally like his SNES Vanilla Lake and GBA Rainbow Road remixes if you want some more ear candy

This is honestly amazing. Double Dash’s Rainbow Road is my personal favourite, so to see it replicated so well is a sight to behold. Makes me wish it had been in Mario Kart 8.

Looks great! I think the flaws are - green is too dominant in the main road shader. Can't you make your own shader? - the main road looks too much like Wii rainbow road. In fact it looks like Wii rainbow road with a modified version of the 3DS RR shader. - the camera at 0:54 is really bad.
It is literally wiibow that’s kind of obvious to most of us. Making a custom texture is extremely finicky and many custom tracks with one looked really out of place or unpolished in terms of the polygons.
