You have NO idea how much I loved 'I am thankful for the courage to do this', because that's HUGE when one stops and thinks about how stepping out in faith, having the courage to allow the goal, the dream that resides inside a person to burst forth and become a reality is what allows you to discover strengths you never knew you had. And in discovering those strengths one then becomes a wise teacher.
This is a trip of a life time! Being able to see the Country you live in at the age of 11 will set a great course for the rest of their lives. As parents you giving this to them will bond the family like it has never been. This are the memories that will be with your boys that will drive them to be better fathers and husbands. The best of this trip for the one of us you let share it is that we know this is just the beginning. I can’t wait for the homestead and to see how this loving family story plays out. - Jeff

Yep it can be done! We lived in a travel trailer for years. And I got an instant pot, small roaster, and gas grill. We were set up on permenant land and also had shed space. Best times of my later life!

Oh I think you will like it! It is like a rich all-dark-meat chicken. It is a little greasier than chicken, but that is what makes it so delicious. We like it bother BBQ’d and baked. For baking I do about 2 hours in a 375* oven, surrounded by chopped veggies and rubbed with seasoning.

We usually start with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then we add other seasoning as we want to - onion, paprika, herbs. Whatever strikes our fancy at the time! A lot of people have asked for more cooking, so we will try to add more of that into our videos! And thank you so much for your kind words. We haven’t shared much about the boys story on the vlog yet. But in a nutshell I had pre-eclampsia and was close to dyeing, which resulted in an emergency c-section at 27 weeks. The boys were in the NICU for 3 months. It was a rough start to parenting, but here we are today!
Your channel came up as a suggested video for me and I thought what the heck whats one more channel added to the many I already watch. You guys had me hooked from start of this video right up to the end. And y'all made me choke up with your thankfuls. I am thankful that your channel was suggested to me and that I watched. New subscriber here so im watching backwards. Lol I'm chilling on California's central coast, nursing a head cold, hanging out with my lil sis, brother, and nieces. A little weekend getaway. Im watching your videos, and telling my young adult nieces about you all. We met up here from central and southern California. I was just recalling my grandfather telling my siblings and i about his parents putting together 3 covered wagons and moving their family west. They only made it to Western Oklahoma but they had each other, and that was good. :) I loved hearing of the friends you've met along the way that have become like family. i wish you and your family well on your new adventure.

Beautiful dinner, hard work doing it and glad i found your channel! We drove round trip to Alaska 5 times, then moved to Upstate NY for our final home. We are both retired now and just enjoying life the best we can.
We had to spend Thanksgiving in our RV last year because our house flooded, it wasn't easy but we managed to cook and invite all the neighbors who came back, since they were living in flooded out homes and had no way to cook except on BBQ pits. We were truly thankful that we all made it out alive when so many didn't.

I live full time in a 23' trailer...I have a turkey plug in roaster it can cook up to a 24' turkey that is how I can make my turkey dinner. I love leftovers
