This is not a bad special having originally aired on CBS. David Stanfield narrating, great (sometimes funny) music, interviews with legends of the sport, how can you go wrong!

When RC retired, part of JS7 retired too. I see JS7 now a days is a different rider than he was when he was still racing with RC.

I just watched this race today and happened to see this vid. Great race by two fantastic racers and all around good guys. RC gave it his all at his very last SX after being a proud new dad less than 24hrs earlier and JS7 didn't cut him any slack but kept it clean. When the checkered flag flew both were respectful and kinda made it feel like a local race. Both were winners that night. Good Job Gentleman. This is what racing is about.

Champions feed off and NEED each other to push themselves. Ali needed Frazier, Johnson needed Byrd. Senna needed Prost. Mongoose needed Snake (drag racing), JS7 did lose it when RC4 retired, JS7 didn't respect who was left as much as he did RC and thus the others smelled blood and rose up. And yes, Dungey needed Vilopoto. Right now, Tomac needs Musquin IM rooting for the Orange Thunder. Braaaap. See you in Metlife in April.

    • @yamahakid450f

He didn't lose it, the yamaha was garbage In 2010. Factory yamaha couldn't get the front end feedback James was looking for, neither could JGR... by the time he went to Suzuki, the ship had sailed for titles. He could still win races but the years at yamaha snd the suspension ended James, not RC leaving.
James only beat ricky outdoors 3 times for an overall (rc crashed each time) and then had the edge in speed in supercross but he never beat Ricky for a title indoors or out. After ricky retired James went 24-0 for his only 450 outdoor title and then won in 2007 and 2009 SX title, all that came after ricky left. When yamaha went to their backwards engine, that was it. He never knew wjat the bike was going to do, nothing is worse than an unpredictable bike regardless how much power the thing made.
If ricky rode outside his comfort zone, he could of been there with James more than he was, but he wanted titles and the 10/10 outdoor titles and 5 of 7 (I don't count 2004) supercross titles, Ricky got the job done.
76 outdoor 450 wins, 26 125 outdoor wins, and 48 450 supercross wins for 150 total wins. No one else even cracks 100 wins... and his 2 perfect 24-0 outdoor seasons and then went undefeated in 2005 for overalls is insane, should be impossible. The only motos he lost was Unadilla when James landed on him and then another where he hit the deck. Not to mention tied with McGrath for most wins in a supercross season, 15 in a row... if he chose to beat McGrath instead of letting him have his last win of his career, he may of done the impossible of going undefeated.. I never thought anyone would do that outdoors after ricky did it.. James did, but his main competition was Alessi, so I think ricky had stiffer competition

@@yamahakid450f valid points, student of the game I see. 👍🏼😎.
But what do you think is going to happen when Tomac retires?
Sexton could go 24-0 in a season. RC overthrow MC, RC was edged out by JS7, Dungey relieved JS7, Tomac replaced RD5 and next year Sexton will replace ET3.
I've seen this all before. But I still stand by my initial comment, the great ones always have someone to hate and put there anger on.
Bob Hannah hated EVERYBODY.... And he spared no attempt to let it be known.
Guys are super polite these days and IMHO smarter and more tactical than the OGs of my generation. These were like Wild Childs, hand it out, Is rather die than let you beat me kind of guys. They also got JACKED UP a lot too. So guys today know when they don't have it and choose to fight another day.

Chad Reed was an OK rider nothing special. Can't wait. I love Orlando it's a great city and in the beginning the place was packed then the venue was half full if best and then off the schedule. So sad. Nate Ramsey #SCRUB. I love it when the #GOD David Baily says "I almost stood up" priceless.

guy lamson nothing special? Lol he made the move from the 125 class to the 250 (now 450) class in 2003. That’s 16 years ago.. let that sink in. This guy just got a fucking top 5 finish at A2, few years away from being 40 years old. Okay, keep thinking he was nothing special lol if Ricky and James weren’t at the top of their game from ‘05-‘08 he’d probably be considered the GOAT. I’m not the biggest fan of his because I think he’s a crybaby most of the time, but give credit where credits due

      Big fuckin deal man.
Drugs are made to be used.
If it helped him mentaly with out exponential physical enhancement I see no harm.
Adderall doesn't do you any favors physically in sports i assure you.
Maybe low doses help concentration and enjoyment but any remotely high dose would have your mind all over the fuckin place and muscles not doing what you tell em and help zero.
Drug abuse and drug use are two different things.
