Whoa! I will try to not ramble, but I’ll probably fail because I can not grasp the words to express what I’m feeling. This song is so powerful and, even though I might have not gone down the path you did, the pain and suffering in every word I have faced and fought. Tim, my younger brother (he’s in his late 30s and I’m 40) was such a huge fan of your work in As I Lay Dying and I agree it was great, but this is something different…this is extremely special. This hurts to listen to and I am so grateful you shared this darkness and suffering because it helps those who feel they are alone and believe they won’t be able to take another step. You were able to beat it, so they can too. The only other thing I will say without stumbling over my words is the cello was cheating. It is so beautiful and the first note played makes me gasp every time and it is a little overwhelming. This is nothing less than perfect. Thank you. I really needed this. 🤘🏻
