But that song was from Shadows Are Security? I agree tho, Ocean Between Us is easily their best, you can't top Within Destruction, Forsaken, Sound Of Truth, and Nothing Left
Do you remember the old days when this type of bands were criticized in the comments saying "this is not true metal" "Wacken is going to die for putting these bands on" or "they don't belong in this festival" it's good that all that stayed in the dustbin of history
They now say the same with 2020s modern metal bands while at the aame time many 2000s metal bands are getting repected by trve metalheads lol it's a cycle.
Eh, Ken is a great guitarist and even the few clean vocals he did in My Own Grave weren't bad.. but I agree on the main clean vocals. I prefer the last guys voice over Neff's. This drummer sounded great, not sure who it is but I'll look it up.. either way, to say you're "badly" missing 3 of them is kinda silly, it's mostly just the clean vocals.
Hahaha, circle pits are a funny thing. They look brutal from the stage and overhead, but then you see it close up and it's just a bunch of dudes jogging around in circles 😅
These fans just don't know what kind of iconic breakdown they just witnessed during Through Struggle..to be on that stage playing that breakdown would be so damn sick
Dude, everyone talking about how they miss Josh, but why is nobody talking about how good is Ryan at the mic? He deserves some recognition for his great work. Of course, he's never gonna sound like Josh because that's impossible but he's damn killing it
@@randomalbum9879It‘s the clean singer and bassist of Miss May I, if you dig AILD you should 100% check them out, especially their first like 5 records or so haha
The day I fell in love with Through Struggle was this festival with the synchronized headbang. And here I am all these years later jamming to this tune and the same festival
The fact this was the first tour for 3/5 of this line up and they were still THIS tight is unreal. The future is bright with this group, excited for the new record.
One of the most pivotal bands to metalcore ever. While I miss the other members badly, I think they still sound fantastic. I think Tim's is genuinely sorry and regretful to what he did and I think he deserves a second chance.
I like the old wave of metalcore or true metalcore like everyone knows. as i lay dying is one of the pretty good bands in this genre Darkest Hour, Light this city, Venom Prison, Chimaira, Miss May I, As Blood Runs Black is so recommended to u guys lml
I am so glad to see these guys jamming again, although just two of them remained from the period before Tim's detention in prison. I am tracking their live gigs and waiting for the right location and time to visit their concert. I has been a dream of mine for a long time.
A spectacular band, I love I listened to them for the first time when I was only 12 or 13 years old and now I am 28 years old and here I am still present men I love the truth they are geniuses and they have very good music with a lot of energy that I still love, the best I would love to see them according to the day live
two decades have passed and this band persists. I believe that my grandchildren will also get to know the wonderful hymns, which marked the era and the metal scene in the world!
Me at 38 tellin to myself: ''As I would effectively Lay Dying in this mushpit..😵'' My early 20 felt so far away watching this..none the less still enjoying the band 🤘🤪🤘
Finally a Pro Shot AILD concert, finding a video like this is like finding big foot, its physically impossible to find pro shot AILD concerts. Even their side project Wovenwar has a full length 30+ minute pro shot set, but AILD themselves never make videos like this for some reason?? Only 3 songs is blasphemy too, this band deserves a longer setlist I'd like to see an hour set from them with this quality
The Setlist was longer (1h 15m), Wacken usually only uploads 3 Songs. Also those three probably are the only salvageable ones. Having been there , their set was full of Technical Issues. Tim was constantly messing with his InEars and tried his best but you could clearly tell he was getting insecure and frustrated. Iam a huge fan but unless you stood in the middle (I was Stageright 4th row) it became inaudible and hard to listen to.
Except that the lineup before this one was NOT the original line up, and many people don’t understand this. Tim and Jordan were the only founding members, and Phil, Nick, and Josh joined after a number of lineup changes stating around the FWC era. Even though the three mentioned left, Tim and Phil are the primary songwriters of the band and have been responsible for writing much of the band’s material.
...because they're a good band and some people believe a person who pays their debt to society deserve 2nd chances until they prove they can't be trusted with one. Also, here you are consuming them hypocrite.
Yall negative on one of the founding fathers of our genre. If you want to get technical , Tim is as I lay dying. And Ryan did a very good job replicating Josh. These guys have a hard job and at least they’re trying to keep this band together FOR US. So miss me with these uneducated comments. Go cry to your mommy if you have one
Josh used to struggle (no pun intended) to sing Dave Arthur's parts. And now Ryan struggles to sing Dave's and Josh's parts. Although he's doing good job we will only see Ryan's true contribution to AILD when they record the new album.

Funny how they get their biggest song wrong lol

yeah shadows are security is their best album hands down.
