Pleased Popper yo stay up, keep positive life isn’t always easy. Use this music to guide you, not bind you.
Lyrics connect with my soul. When I get so overcome with pain I really do become blinded, changing me as a person
@@pleasedpopper4521 , all I can say is stay strong and don't let shit get to you in a way that will destroy you. Not gonna lie, I relapsed a shit ton but now its 3.5 years sober and even with my dad unexpectedly passing away a year ago from a heart attack at only 56 years old, I still stayed strong even though that was the most toughest, fucked up thing I ever had to deal with. Just stay strong and true to yourself dude!!
Hang in there mai dude \m/
Be strong homie.
The only band that can take six years off and come back air punching every other group in the genre
The only band that comes close to this in the metalcore field would be Erra and they're more Prog/Djent influenced so its hard to even count them together
I disagree... August Burns Red, Caliban, Zao, Killswitch Engage... They are all still out there playing shows my friend.
@@ExaltedMarauder Zao. Enough said. Lol
Gri8o Erra is definitely sick. Especially the new single they just put out
Erra used to be the best band ever, but now without Garrison and Alen, they're pretty meh at best. JT or whatever is a subpar vocalist and I don't think Jesse should be anywhere near being the lead vocalist.
After hearing Drift, I refuse to listen to Neon or whatever their album is called.
Seeing them actually interacting with the crowd just showed us just what these band really are. Connecting with the people and giving them the vibe of Hope
As I Lay Dying and August Burns Red are the only bands who haven’t disappointed me yet.
I think August burns red has got even better there was a period there i wasn't into what they were doing though but they came back 💯
@Sykt Norsk they're most recent album was a letdown after seeing them live before it came out
Bury Tomorrow is also a good band.
@@felipesouza2654 actually forgot all about those guys I really enjoyed their music. Theres tons really. I miss the human abstract the most if they would only get back together.
@@lelandbacon1253 FUCKING PREACH. KILLSWITCH IS HANDING THE TORCH OFF TO THESE GUYS.
Please put this song back on Spotify!!
This has such a Shadows are Security vibe to it and I couldn't be happier ❤
Trevor Mundee thought the exact same thing man
Not really
Allen Debellis no this has a shaped by fire vibe
@@JohnDoe-qj8nm I agree, this sounds nothing at all like Shadows are Security. Not even close.
The intro have me thinking the same
Over the years, As I Lay Dying has kept the heaviness 100%. So glad to see they haven’t lost their touch 🙏🏼🤘🏽
....come one.... the choruses are really lame. That's not 100% heavy.
Literally get goosebumps with this band.
BY far the best to do it
Best Metalcore Band of all time
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BLINDED BY THE PAIN?
LOSING YOURSELF INSIDE THE HEARTHACHE
AND DOES THAT MEAN WE CANNOT CHANGE?
OR WILL WE ALWAYS BE SEEN THAT WAY?
I got some cum in my eye, does that count?
BRUHHH THAT LYRICS GIVE ME CHILL
In the end, it's ourselves we're left alone with looking for sufficient reason, what was gain versus regret - A war with your morality.
refreshing my ears here after listening All That Remains new music video
Agreeeeeed
Ahaha! Same!
see, with that song. I feel like if it had come out in the 80's it would have been huge. It was a solid power ballad that will get overlooked from extreme metal supremacist.
Beneeeer bgt bro. ATR without "OLI" would never be the same :(
Gugum Hadi Jason Richardson is a great guitarist, he’s no Oli, but he gets the job done.
‘Metalcore is Dead’
As I Lay Dying: Hold my beer
i'm literally drinking beer and listening to this, life is good with moments like these
Metalcore is still very much alive
such an original comment, wow!
Who said metalcore is dead??? That comment would only make sense if a lot of people actually said that. Almost noone did though.
Stoneman180190 Adam D is pissed!
No one offered him a beer. lol.
The 2000s were about to ask for their riffs back...
But they said nevermind after listening to the song the whole way through
Siiick ass foo💯😂😂😂
30 years old.. And there is still so much sound of truth in this.
Thank you AILD
2019 has officially become the year of metal.
Year of the Pig
I bought the new album (Japanese edition) the other day and was really moved when this song started. Their music style hasn't changed at all. I'm really happy that AILD start making great music again. Hope they will come to Japan.
Me too, and I don't even life there
This song cured my erectile dysfunction
Weird flex but ok
Hilarious! Rock on :D
Holy shit that's funny.
comment of the fucking year hahaha
HAHAHAH
what a comeback these dudes have made, incredible music for years. I'd blast their music in high school .... and also now. louder the better 😈
One of the few bands that dont turn into soft shit or change genre. Thank you AS I LAY DYING for keeping true Metalcore alive. You guys were always been my favourite band and will always be. Infact you were the first Metalcore band I ever listened to. Cant wait to see you guys this October again :)
Wage war lol
Aggressive Armadillo wage war’s new album is a JOKE.
@@Whileweweresinners Wage Wars new album is mostly a fuck up when comparing it to their really good first two albums. Which is sad, I had high hopes for them but for some reason they decided to focus on generic rock songs instead. Only a few songs on this new record can be considered Metalcore, "Fury" is for example one those few good songs.
RedEye Or how about your stop comparing bands. People like you act as if every band has the same influences or has the same goal. If a band goes “soft”, so what? Is there a rule book that says you can’t, or that you can’t “change genre”? Wasn’t metal all about doing what you want?
This is soft music compared to Watain.
That intro riff is SO Shadows Are Security it's crazy!
There old stuff is the best but this the only band who can keep this genre alive...my top 3 favorite bands ever.
...who’s the other 2
No, sorry you're wrong.
1. Blink 182
2.Sum 41
3. AILD

Lol idc if he tried to do it. I wanted another album.
Big time Shadows are Security vibes here!!
I've never been so excited for an album in my entire life! I love the fact that I never thought I would be able to see Tim as a vocalist ever again and in the beginning of this video you literally reaches down and grabs the mic and says guess what! I am redeemed and I am back now I'm going to fist pump until my arm falls off! Hahaha
One of the greatest songs ever created by As I Lay Dying.
Got to watch AILD live last night. Unforgettable experience hope will get another chance to see them again
This is the metalcore I loved and grew up with, this is so refreshing and nostalgic at the same exact time.
Year: 2100, we love you AILD,i will leave this here for my children
This album is phenomenal! I haven't been able to stop playing it since its release
because I'm having a stroke and can't press stop.
This is such a badass song! If this doesn't get you fired up, nothing will!
Tim may have a shaky past but goddamn I cannot stop listening to these guys
Yes he may but he put the work in and showed that he really had changed and regretted his past. While working to betrer relationship with his bandmates and volunteer work. My man Tim is reformed and ready for the future. 🤠👌
At the risk of sounding like an ass hat, nobody knows what being with that woman was like. I don’t disagree that the way he went about it was totally wrong but as a man thats been with a garbage woman with circumstances that extenuated far beyond initially conceived, there’s more than meets the eye I promise you that

just stay away from the gear my brother
It's been this way for me the past 5 years
Borderlands 3 and new AILD what a fantastic Friday
Jordan Mckenzie oh yes
Afuckinmen
I've been listening to these guys since the days when Tim was scrawny. My first time hearing AILD was on a demo cd that Hastings was giving away. All these years and I never got to see them in concert. Years went by and after the events around Tim I figured I'd never get to see them live. More years went by-I grew old, joined the corporate world and made babies. Then a new single came out. Then another. And another. Then this album that I just cant stop listening to. Then a tour! I just saw them this past November here in Phoenix and put me and my buddy on a balcony that looked right over the stage. THEY KILLED IT!!! FREAKING EPIC.
Nick Hipa is amazing, but Phil Sgrosso, I miss yours guitar solos! Congrats from Brazil!
Nothing like a quality melodic metalcore to make your day better.
