Me too! It went downhill for me after Ipsy took over. I canceled all 3 over the last 2 years and all my Ipsy subs except the Reg bag because it’s paid for a year until September.
Knew this was coming.. What I didn't like was they weren't answering paying customers questions. When you look back it's all digital creaters/PR & employees getting their questions answered or raving reviews. Not answering about increasing the Boxycharm + boast (premium) price increase. Answering about Charms expire now.. etc
I canceled both my boxycharm subscriptions after being a Charmer since 2015! The boxes were all just old junk thrown together. No honoring choices, giving useless Charms, putting refreshments in premium boxes. It was hard, but I finally did it.
I think they are gonna raise the prices again before the end of the year. Oh and they are getting rid of the bags for Ipsy from what they said on the live today.
Now I will say this because if you aren't with ipsy you may not know, if your payment isn't received the last day of the month or on the 1st, you won't get choice as it is currently.....

I actually cancelled my base, lux and premium boxes last week. I have been so disappointed with the past few boxes and in my last base and premium boxes I got a Refreshment product in each one. I was not happy. So maybe things this will be better but will wait and see before I decide to go back or not. Thanks for sharing!
So, what I am taking away is there will be 4 bags Ipsy glam - deluxe samples BC base/Ipsy Premium - 5 full size: choose 3 BC Premium - 5 to 7 full size: choose 3 BC Luxe/Ipsy Luxe - every 3 months: takes place of base: choose 3
Ipsy glam bag - 5 deluxe samples 1 choice, boxycharm (base) 5 full size items 3 choices, premium 6 full size items 3 choices, new luxe 8 products 3 choices quarterly and yes in place of base.
With IPSY you can see your full box after you made your choice and they made their selections and if I remember correctly every time after I made my decision, I could see my entire box
I have the base and luxe boxes. I’m looking forward to seeing the changes. You know the first few months are going to be awesome, since the company will be working hard to convince customers that the merger is a success.
I gave up on boxy over a year ago. I only kept my ipsy subscriptions. I'm not happy. But hopefully everything will b great and I will b happy again. I'll keep my subs for now but it if something changes drastically, I will cancel.
I'm not super excited tbh. It's been so frustrating the last few months with all the repeat products and subpar items that look like I could've picked them up at a Dollar Store. I signed back up for Luxe for December after seeing some spoilers then ended up getting a random box of old items.. half of which I'd already received...none of the items everyone else got and it wasn't because I signed up late or something. I'm going to give it a chance, but it doesn't matter how many changes they make if the products in the boxes aren't worth it.

It just said my glam bag was coming. Then it said I could get a free razor, but then I think it's part of another add on thing I'd have to pay. I dont care about razors like I care about makeup. I had no idea all these things were changing. Someone hacked my IG account so I have to start all over. 🤦♀️🤣💜💄

Me too! They REFUSED to ship me anything other than their cheap ass little bags here in Canada. They wouldn't ship their nicer, upgraded subscriptions to Canadian consumers. I subscribed to Ipsy since 2015, and that was their "thanks for being a loyal subscriber". 😆
@make_up_by_jenn yeah it just kinda irritated me to know they took over Boxycharm, and now Boxycharm is merged with Ipsy. I canceled Ipsy because of their policy to not ship their better subscriptions to Canada. I'm praying we don't get nailed for customs costs.
Ipsy is incompetent. I couldn't get my "choice" items the last couple of months. They don't use my beauty quiz anymore. The shipping and tracking is garbage. It all went downhill since they took over Boxycharm.
I unsubsidized from iPsy years ago and let go of Boxycharm shortly after the purchase. I think I'll sit on the sidelines for a while and see what happens before I make my decision.
I cancelled. I had base, premium, and lux. I've been very disappointed with BoxyCharm lately. Customer Service is basically nonexistent. I did IPSY many years ago, but cancelled that ages ago. Maybe I should try it again, but it seemed so inconsistent for so long.
Hello my gorgoeus Yari…ty for this Video for Boxy Ipsy changes…but with my experience Ipsy’s Customer Service are really not helpful with problems not like with Boxy.😢I bought 60 USD Bag from them and never hve received it..and when i got in touch-they dont care.,.
I really hope the products are more higher end and not refreshments in our subscriptions and when you say full size products well then do not put any samples size products unless they are free and when IPSY says deluxe then don't include the tiny tiny samples that Ive never even seen for February I got a sample size product in my boxy premium box and glam bag was my first one all products were skincare and at least two were not deluxe and one was empty the best thing was the little make up bag really I subscribe to all four and I spend a lot of money I am going to give it until the merger is complete and then I will see what happens but I definitely am not wanting samples of anything so I will most probably cancel glam bag and keep glam bag plus as far as the every three months the X and whatever the other is called almost 40.00 for three more products just is not worth it to me I could probably get some stuff on sale at Macys or Sephora so im out with that. But then I also subscribed to the icon box, so i'm wondering if that is going to be a separate box entirely or if it is just a more luxe version of the boxycharm +premium box?? I'm so confused
I'm one of those people that get all three BoxyCharm boxes and all three Ipsy boxes lol. I'm trying to figure out how it will happen going forward. Do I keep paying for 6 boxes or do I pay for 3?
No more multiple subscriptions per email so if you have the glam plus and boxy base box you won't get 2 you will only get 1 and if u get GlamBag X and the boxy luxe you will get the 1 icon box .you won't be able to get a plus and a base it will just be boxycharm base box as the plus...
I first started getting boxy in late 2015 and I was a committed customer even with moving many states away . It was my first beauty subscription. I left them the beginning of last year because of getting so many repeats and problems with customer service. I missed getting it so decided in Dec I would get it again and it's been nothing but a disappointment. This month they didn't send me my choice item. No email saying this nothing. They sent me 2 Lippies on being opened and dirty ( give me lala ) the other a Ciate London metallic blue ( gross ) which has been on the drop shop for the last few months for under $5 . Two different face primers ( 1 which I already have received twice before , one being in Dec. ) and a brow conditioner. Mind you my profile says NO brow products. So to say disappointed is an understatement. I canceled same day I got my box. I had ipsy before and another one I was not impressed with it.
Thank god! 7yrs of boxy i canceled, been happy with Ipsy plus for 6yrs. Ipsy not make u guess. But so many whiners on both sides🙄 It will be AWESOME ❤❤

yeah I unsubbed like a year ago cause I was getting already alot of the stuff from boxy in my ipsy bags and I was basically just getting everything doubled over. hopefully everything gets situated where we don't get doubles anymore .

I unsubscribed from Boxycharm and Ipsy because I got tired of getting the same items. Also, Boxy was placing more skincare and less make-up in their boxes. However, I can actually say that I am excited about this and will probably re-subscribe.

Very desapointed…. I had both in all tiers … I guess my wallet will be happy as I will receive only the GP and the boxycharm… So 13 + 28 instead of 13 + 28 + 28 + 40 .. I will save 68$ per month on regular month if I don’t add the boost…I guess they have to much money…. they don’t need my 68$/month …. Weird
I'm truly excited for the changes. I cancelled my subscription last year bc everything was no longer up to par I felt. But I've still watched your videos on all BoxyCharm bc I wanted to support you, first of all ❤️, but to also see if they were actually going to put their money where their mouth is and give us what we've been dying for! It seems like the changes are exactly what they needed to do! I think that even though IPSY bought Boxy, they were still in competition and I felt they let BoxyCharm fall to the wayside. I've been trying to keep an eye out since you got the card in your base box saying there was Epic news coming but I'm glad I saw this first! I just signed up. I wanted the boxycharm premium that I always got before. But the power boost wasnt an option. I wonder if that option will show up on April 1st-3rd.... it did however give me the option to go ahead and get the luxe in May but pay for it now.... this is confusing. I went ahead and signed up because I figured the first boxes after this merge are going to really good to get people who are iffy on it to sign up. But theres a $12 monthly difference for 1 product.... that seemed like the only difference to me. Based on what you just showed anyways. Idk. I guess we'll see.

Hi Yari, I think the fact they are stream lining the system is a good thing. So the merger of the two companies is a plus. I thought it was going from 6 platforms (tiers/levels) down to 3. The way I interrupted the information was the glam bag was staying the same, then the glam bag plus and Boxycharm base were becoming IPSY Boxycharm and then the glam bag x and the boxy charm premium and lux were becoming the icon box...so you mentioned 4 tiers or levels ? I am confused. Either way, I think there will be less mistakes and disappointments this way. Fingers crossed. I cancelled everything I had with IPSY and Boxy Charm and I am just subscribed to IPSY Glam Bag at the moment until April kicks in then I will re-subscribe to the IPSY BoxyCharm to check that box out. Ipsy is garbage. I’m so disappointed in this change. I have annual memberships to all 3 tiers for both brands and I’m going to be so upset if I just paid for doubles of Ipsy’s sad bags. Boxy has been ahead of Ipsy from the get go and has been getting worse and worse since Ipsy took it over.

I cancelled ipsy becuse there FULL SIZED glam bag items were most often deluxe sized it was every bag it seemed. I hope they changed this it was so disappointing

There are three tiers instead of six. Boxycharm plus boost will go up in price come April from $40 to $43. If you get the regular glambag and the Boxycharm and the Icon, icon will replace the glambag. So I’m assuming you’ll get what used to be a base box and what used to be a luxe box in the same month. That sounds like overkill to me. I found this info by scrolling down on the page you showed and looking at the FAQ’s. I maybe wrong but a couple other things: You can no longer prepay for a subscription. If premium is now Boxycharm plus boost, you can no longer get a base box and a premium box. (Unless you have multiple accounts)
I am canceling. Ipsy plus is turning to boxy premium. My question is already pay for Ipsy plus. I would be buying two ipsy plus glam boxes????? I also wonder if the pause mode would work for the new boxycharms as well. I think I am going to resubcribe when the kinks are worked out

I have tried both ipsy and boxycharm. I liked boxycharm way better but missed seeing what was in my box and additional choices. So I think this is a great change. I won’t be resubscribing at this time though
What I'm confused about is.... I have ipsy glam bag plus, the base and premium with boxy...... So will that stay the same, but just with the added perks? I did the boost for this month, and was able to choose a drunk elephant item for $16..... What I like about the boost is you can get it or pass on it....
My question is how are they handling all the customers that currently have prepaid subscriptions for multiple bags/boxes under both accounts? This seems like it could get really confusing if you have already prepaid for something they are merging or doing away with.
I am not excited about this at all. I am going from 2 boxy and an Ipsy down to one that was always too heavy in the skin care. I don't understand why they would want to just give all that money up. Maybe they were having supply issues. Anyways I am going to give it to April and May. If it's mostly skincare I will just cancel.
This is gonna be an F-in mess… Sounds to me I’m only getting one subscription box per month as opposed to my ipsy glam bag plus and my BoxyCharm Base ea month . Plus, people like me just recently paid for both of our subscriptions for the year in advance… What happens with that? I guess we’ll just have to let time go by and try and figure it out… Don’t even bother reaching out you’ll just get the same template changes in response. I am in the same predicament as you are… I have prepaid for Ipsy Plus and BoxyCharm Base until October. I am going to miss my Ipsy Plus subscription. I regift the drawstring bags too. “Oh, lucky me I am going to receive higher quality products” Right 🙄 Am I going to receive 2 BoxyCharm boxes? Perhaps my prepaid subscription will be extended out for the extra months I paid for? I can’t find the answers…

So again what happens to our boxy charm base? It sounds like they need to return our prepaid glam bag plus membership fees if we already have boxy charm base. Like I said this is gonna be a freaking mess… I guess we’ll just have to wait to the second and see what happens when we make our choices. Actually on the second from March it is a luxe month so I wouldn’t get my regular base box. So maybe I will get a boxy charm box which is my Epsie plus in addition to the luxe box.. Who the F knows… I just hope that the products are new and exciting. we have seen the same crap for the past year. I’m not interested in the refreshments so I hope that’s not what we are going to be seeing as regular products each month in our boxes. I guess time will tell.

There is no mention anywhere that I can find, regarding refund for the Ipsy plus because now they’re going to call that the boxycharm box. So what happened to my Boxycharm Base box? I must be missing something because from a business standpoint the company is going to lose half of its monthly income if they have eliminated the plus bag by making it a boxycharm base. That doesn’t make sense to me that they would do that. Again this is an effing mess and I guess we’ll just have to wait it out and see what happens on the 2nd when it comes to our choices.

I had paused. The IPSY bags have been great but not always receiving the promoted design. I got a cute valentines bag from some other year- its adorable even so. The products have been fine. The shop on add ons was skimpy and those are such a perk. Ispy and Boxy have been a good product in my limited history with them. The repeats were too heavy and keeping them of all was six subs. Too much. Some Months Ispy had better and better shopping and others it was Boxy. Especially so since they originally announced the merge over a year ago. I am so happy to see this finally occuring and a more true merge with less boxes to choose from or get all. This is exciting and maybe the past year has been a sort of see how things could best be done for both Ipsy/Boxy by ipsy and subscribers. The way they structured this is fine. 😊 They are keeping the trademark Ipsy glambag ( so cute and functional) and are maintaining nostalgic Boxy TM with mid sized sub and the Icon quarterly... All good. Plus, the expansion in selection is great if as described. New chapter. I liked the teasing banter Lead up as well. Creative and fun way to generate ohh and awes. Both have been leaders in sub boxing and reputable with good value- no longer competition. So looking to best of both worlds combined with this restructuring. I thought it would happen sooner. Pleased to see it in fruition now 😊

I cancelled. I had base, premium, and lux. I've been very disappointed with BoxyCharm lately. Customer Service is basically nonexistent. I did IPSY many years ago, but cancelled that ages ago. Maybe I should try it again, but it seemed so inconsistent for so long.

I really hope the products are more higher end and not refreshments in our subscriptions and when you say full size products well then do not put any samples size products unless they are free and when IPSY says deluxe then don't include the tiny tiny samples that Ive never even seen for February I got a sample size product in my boxy premium box and glam bag was my first one all products were skincare and at least two were not deluxe and one was empty the best thing was the little make up bag really I subscribe to all four and I spend a lot of money I am going to give it until the merger is complete and then I will see what happens but I definitely am not wanting samples of anything so I will most probably cancel glam bag and keep glam bag plus as far as the every three months the X and whatever the other is called almost 40.00 for three more products just is not worth it to me I could probably get some stuff on sale at Macys or Sephora so im out with that. But then I also subscribed to the icon box, so i'm wondering if that is going to be a separate box entirely or if it is just a more luxe version of the boxycharm +premium box?? I'm so confused

I'm one of those people that get all three BoxyCharm boxes and all three Ipsy boxes lol. I'm trying to figure out how it will happen going forward. Do I keep paying for 6 boxes or do I pay for 3?
No more multiple subscriptions per email so if you have the glam plus and boxy base box you won't get 2 you will only get 1 and if u get GlamBag X and the boxy luxe you will get the 1 icon box .you won't be able to get a plus and a base it will just be boxycharm base box as the plus...

I first started getting boxy in late 2015 and I was a committed customer even with moving many states away . It was my first beauty subscription. I left them the beginning of last year because of getting so many repeats and problems with customer service. I missed getting it so decided in Dec I would get it again and it's been nothing but a disappointment. This month they didn't send me my choice item. No email saying this nothing. They sent me 2 Lippies on being opened and dirty ( give me lala ) the other a Ciate London metallic blue ( gross ) which has been on the drop shop for the last few months for under $5 . Two different face primers ( 1 which I already have received twice before , one being in Dec. ) and a brow conditioner. Mind you my profile says NO brow products. So to say disappointed is an understatement. I canceled same day I got my box. I had ipsy before and another one I was not impressed with it.

yeah I unsubbed like a year ago cause I was getting already alot of the stuff from boxy in my ipsy bags and I was basically just getting everything doubled over. hopefully everything gets situated where we don't get doubles anymore .

I unsubscribed from Boxycharm and Ipsy because I got tired of getting the same items. Also, Boxy was placing more skincare and less make-up in their boxes. However, I can actually say that I am excited about this and will probably re-subscribe.

I'm truly excited for the changes. I cancelled my subscription last year bc everything was no longer up to par I felt. But I've still watched your videos on all BoxyCharm bc I wanted to support you, first of all ❤️, but to also see if they were actually going to put their money where their mouth is and give us what we've been dying for! It seems like the changes are exactly what they needed to do! I think that even though IPSY bought Boxy, they were still in competition and I felt they let BoxyCharm fall to the wayside. I just signed up. I wanted the boxycharm premium that I always got before. But the power boost wasnt an option. I wonder if that option will show up on April 1st-3rd.... it did however give me the option to go ahead and get the luxe in May but pay for it now.... this is confusing. I went ahead and signed up because I figured the first boxes after this merge are going to really good to get people who are iffy on it to sign up. But theres a $12 monthly difference for 1 product.... that seemed like the only difference to me. Based on what you just showed anyways. Idk. I guess we'll see.

Hi Yari, I think the fact they are stream lining the system is a good thing. So the merger of the two companies is a plus. I thought it was going from 6 platforms (tiers/levels) down to 3. The way I interrupted the information was the glam bag was staying the same, then the glam bag plus and Boxycharm base were becoming IPSY Boxycharm and then the glam bag x and the boxy charm premium and lux were becoming the icon box...so you mentioned 4 tiers or levels ? I am confused. Either way, I think there will be less mistakes and disappointments this way. Fingers crossed. I cancelled everything I had with IPSY and Boxy Charm and I am just subscribed to IPSY Glam Bag at the moment until April kicks in then I will re-subscribe to the IPSY BoxyCharm to check that box out. Ipsy is garbage. I’m so disappointed in this change. I have annual memberships to all 3 tiers for both brands and I’m going to be so upset if I just paid for doubles of Ipsy’s sad bags. Boxy has been ahead of Ipsy from the get go and has been getting worse and worse since Ipsy took it over.
I canceled my Boxycharm sub, I just could not take another bad box. I'll wait until you do an unboxing in April before I sign up,.
In April I'll unbox pr and paid boxes. That way you can see my choices and what I get.

I cancelled ipsy becuse there FULL SIZED glam bag items were most often deluxe sized it was every bag it seemed. I hope they changed this it was so disappointing

Just checked. It's $15 more every month to boost your box with an additional premium product each month.
There are three tiers instead of six. Boxycharm plus boost will go up in price come April from $40 to $43. If you get the regular glambag and the Boxycharm and the Icon, icon will replace the glambag. So I’m assuming you’ll get what used to be a base box and what used to be a luxe box in the same month. That sounds like overkill to me. I found this info by scrolling down on the page you showed and looking at the FAQ’s.
I maybe wrong but a couple other things: You can no longer prepay for a subscription. If premium is now Boxycharm plus boost, you can no longer get a base box and a premium box. (Unless you have multiple accounts)
My only issue and disappointment is that I have both, I enjoy both, and now it’s just one lol. So now I get one subscription instead of two 🤷🏻♀️

I have tried both ipsy and boxycharm. I liked boxycharm way better but missed seeing what was in my box and additional choices. So I think this is a great change. I won’t be resubscribing at this time though
What I'm confused about is.... I have ipsy glam bag plus, the base and premium with boxy...... So will that stay the same, but just with the added perks? I did the boost for this month, and was able to choose a drunk elephant item for $16..... What I like about the boost is you can get it or pass on it....
My question is how are they handling all the customers that currently have prepaid subscriptions for multiple bags/boxes under both accounts? This seems like it could get really confusing if you have already prepaid for something they are merging or doing away with.

I am not excited about this at all. I am going from 2 boxy and an Ipsy down to one that was always too heavy in the skin care. I don't understand why they would want to just give all that money up. Maybe they were having supply issues. Anyways I am going to give it to April and May. If it's mostly skincare I will just cancel.

I am in the same predicament as you are… I have prepaid for Ipsy Plus and BoxyCharm Base until October. I am going to miss my Ipsy Plus subscription. I regift the drawstring bags too. “Oh, lucky me I am going to receive higher quality products” Right 🙄 Am I going to receive 2 BoxyCharm boxes? Perhaps my prepaid subscription will be extended out for the extra months I paid for? I can’t find the answers…

It sounds like they need to return our prepaid glam bag plus membership fees if we already have boxy charm base. Like I said this is gonna be a freaking mess… I guess we’ll just have to wait to the second and see what happens when we make our choices. Actually on the second from March it is a luxe month so I wouldn’t get my regular base box.

There is no mention anywhere that I can find, regarding refund for the Ipsy plus because now they’re going to call that the boxycharm box. So what happened to my Boxycharm Base box?
I must be missing something because from a business standpoint the company is going to lose half of its monthly income if they have eliminated the plus bag by making it a boxycharm base. That doesn’t make sense to me that they would do that. Again this is an effing mess and I guess we’ll just have to wait it out and see what happens on the 2nd when it comes to our choices.

I had paused. The IPSY bags have been great but not always receiving the promoted design. I got a cute valentines bag from some other year- its adorable even so. The products have been fine. The shop on add ons was skimpy and those are such a perk. Ispy and Boxy have been a good product in my limited history with them. The repeats were too heavy and keeping them of all was six subs. Too much. Some Months Ispy had better and better shopping and others it was Boxy. Especially so since they originally announced the merge over a year ago. I am so happy to see this finally occuring and a more true merge with less boxes to choose from or get all. This is exciting and maybe the past year has been a sort of see how things could best be done for both Ipsy/Boxy by ipsy and subscribers. The way they structured this is fine. 😊 They are keeping the trademark Ipsy glambag ( so cute and functional) and are maintaining nostalgic Boxy TM with mid sized sub and the Icon quarterly... All good. Plus, the expansion in selection is great if as described. New chapter. I liked the teasing banter Lead up as well. Creative and fun way to generate ohh and awes. Both have been leaders in sub boxing and reputable with good value- no longer competition. So looking to best of both worlds combined with this restructuring. I thought it would happen sooner. Pleased to see it in fruition now 😊
