Im very glad I stumbled across one of your videos earlier and insta subbed after you did a review about the ORICO Cloning Station. Later I was figuring what would be a user firendly software to clone my drive to begin with and suddenly you popped up out of nowhere!
Thats a great idea so you can replace m.2 with bigger capacity drive and not have to keep reinstalling software. Always dreaded replacing storage drives in the past as forget what is installed! Thanks Mike and Kath, lovely to see Davy but you sure he is a domestic cat with that wild fur?!😻🤣👍
Awesome. Cool looking tool. What would you use to expand a C drive on a VM when that recovery partition gets in the way of traditionally expanding it through the disk utility? Maybe this could help with that? If you could move the C to that last partition you could expand it easy then.
G'day Mike & Kath, I finally got aroung to Cloning the C Drive of my Athlon200GE Everyday PC (mainly just watching YT + other internetting & has a 4TB-HDD full of my CDs playing Background music) using Carifred today, I migrated from a 128GB to 256GB as I was running out of space & want to add a few more of my Retro Games that will run fine with the Vega 3 graphics. So happy you shared this great program as it was so simple to use & worked great 1st go without needing to fiddle with any settings🙃👎.
thanks Shane and it seems someone timed you out on the stream the other week, so sorry about that, not even sure what is was about. Anyway apologies for our over zealous moderator

Hi, Mike. Thanks for this awesome video. I got my right knee replaced today, so if I sound a bit loopy, blame the pain killers. Quick Question for you. I built a PC the other day, and when turned the motherboard LEDs lit up, as well as the RGB RAM. But none of the debug lights lit up. Could that be a bad PSU, or the motherboard?
Do you happen to know if it will clone the C: drive if you have games installed on another separate HDD? I ask as I currently use Windows System Image, which I like, but it wont let you only image the the C: drive if any software is installed on other drives. It will force you to add the other drives and their software to the image. Creating an image is not the same as cloning I know, but wondering if its doable?
if you clone the C drive as it is working now with other programs and files on D: (or whatever) it will work exactly the same as it does now a clone is a 1:1 data clone
@@mikesunboxing Thanks for the reply. Never cloned my drives, only imaged them. So say my C: was 400GB and I had 600GB of games on say a D: drive, the C: clone will be around 400GB then? Windows system image would make me add the 600GB of games to the Image (so i'd need 1TB) as it ties them to the C: drive, if its just data on the D: drive the image wont attach that, just installed programs it seems. A clone will not do this then? Hope that makes sense :)
I've hit upon an issue and can't get around it. Even though I've formatted the 2TB SN850X SSD that I am coping my 1TB SN850 SSD to, when I start the coping process I am getting a Windows message stating that I need to format the new (2TB) drive. I shouldn't habve to but, even if I hit the 'Format disk' button, I then get a message saying I don't have the correct permissions to complete the format. Help!?

Gave this a little test run with a couple of Crucial P5 1tb m.2's-it worked flawlessly.Nice one man.
Nice one
Excellent find, looks like a great bit of software. Cheers Mike and Kath 🙂
yeah not the fastest out there, but simple and gets the job done
Given how much similar software has gone paywall to use similar cloning/copying its nice to see a useful freeware app to add to the USB toolbox.
Yes, exactly handy to have for a quick clone

Thanks for the sub!
This is clean and useful, Thanks Mike.

my guess would be the motherboard or a short somewhere. maybe a bad reset button holding the pc in reset

Kitty !!
Took me a while to not read Certified disk copy 🙄😁
yeah it is an unusual name
Yeah especially when the title is spelled cErifred instead of cArifred...
Maybe it was Dave as we know cats are terrible at spelling 😾😂
didnt work 100% for me but if your just cloning files its really good for that.
Cerifred ?
yep no idea what that means, although the guys name is Fred so......
Crap Joke Friday: What's the difference between a man's wallet before and after kids? There are pictures where the money used to be.
i actually have that printed on a mug i am drinking out of
If you can't spell certified why should I watch?
Because it is the name of the software company it isn’t supposed to say certified so probably a good reason to watch and learn
