Isnt 3TB of space a bit small for NAS, for other than for editing on it. It is fast tho, i have a 6TB HDD and 2TB is full, great you can expand later on, I like the vibe on your channel.
It is indeed small but I now mainly use it to backup my surveillance cameras and I was able to run docker to install home assistant.

It seems a waste to put only 4 TB raw on a NAS, especially considering the cost.. Would have been better to pull the 1 TB drives, and stick in four 4 TB drives and max it out.
That'd be close to 12 TB usable; far better use case.
I have a NAS by Synlogy but I have it connect via 10gb ethernet you can get 1000mb a second or more with that connection .I have a Synology with a bunch of regular HD and just a ssd cache and I get 700mb a second transfer rates you need a 10gb switch and for your laptop a 10gb thunderbolt adapter to get faster speed over the network. if not there would be no need for the ssd's. I have mine connected to my Mac Studio directly. then I have a 10gb adapter for my M1M MBP.

No unfortunately you can’t mount it as far as I know.

I loved that 40”! But I do prefer the picture quality and color accuracy from the Studio Displays.
