I actually like the extra vibrations that come through the cabin too. I thought I was the only one haha. I was expecting more like on my 10th gen Si.
This is always one of the first things I change out on any car though. It stops it from feeling jerky at lower RPM when getting on and off the throttle in slow traffic, as well as when shifting harder. This, Ktuner, and the upgraded rear sway bar have made the biggest difference so far.

My son has the 2019 Si and has all the modifications and bolt on parts except for a rear motor mount. I think he'd like this upgrade.

I finally got to swapping mine. Nice long weekend is a good motivation booster.
You actually don't have to force the front bolt against the exhaust pipe at all!
Just put a bar or something to lever the front of the mount down a bit. You should NOT have the rear bolt in when you do this.
Front bolt should slip right in, until it hits the back side steel. By then, it should've cleared the exhaust pipe.
Then you just remove the lever, push it into place, and tighten it rest of the way.
I haven't driven after the swap.

Great video as always, NAUS! Curious to know how far you plan to take this daily haha. Any plans for the upcoming Acuity Shift Kit that will launch next month or the Hybrid Racing short shifter?

Honestly the full oem shifter setup is so good for daily use. It’s become smoother the longer I’ve owned the car. I do not plan to do anything with that as of now, but lots of exciting videos coming I’ll say that!!

The vibration is definitely something I lowkey miss from my dart. Its super smooth which is nice, but I do miss some of that feedback when driving.

I have that motor mount and I hate it. I recently removed it because it vibrates my dash board too much when the a/c is on. It was installed for more than six months.

It does and that is something I forgot to mention in this drive since I never had the AC on. It does vibrate a little but only at idle, once you are cruising above 2k you don’t feel it at all

Do you think with the stiffer rear mount that the front mount might wear out quicker over time now that it’s taking on more of that engine flex?

I am looking forward to when you get an ECU tune with either the Hondata or Ktuner.I have been using the Ktuner for my 1.5T Civic Si (Canada Model) and it the rev hang is considerably reduced! Among a few more HP from the increased boost!

Wow, great review and installation video. I wonder what that mount would do for the Integra Type S ? Epic roads and scenery on your routes in this video. I’ll have to make a detour one of these times I go up there this year in the 914 or the R on my way to the Mohawk.

Spare tire will most likely not go in the new hybrid. All that space is taken up by the battery

naus- appreciate all this info and research you’re doing for us. Have you looked into exhaust? I wouldn’t want to hack up the rear fascia or lose the factory look, but some sort of non-hidden exhaust would be nice. Since you’ve been under the car quite a bit, any thoughts on if a Touring exhaust & lower valance might readily swap? Might not be hard to find a takeoff assembly from FB marketplace?

    • @NAUS2K
      @NAUS2K  2 месяца назад

Yes the touring diffuser will swap over but honestly the touring exhaust isn’t even an upgrade. The exhaust tips on the touring diffuser are fake plastic so I think it actually looks worse than just keeping them hidden. I’ve looked at options and actually just swapped an ex/lx diffuser on with the idea to cut it on the right side and do a single exit tip. However I don’t want it to look hacked so I’m just trying to live with the stock setup.

@@NAUS2Kjust an idea. I believe the integra rear diffuser will fit it. The mounting holes are the same shape, have the same insert holes that run the length of the diffuser, the holes for the push clips are the exact same too. it’s painted gloss black and has openings for a real exhaust. I’m going to try to get one and see what I can do with it.
