    I built a GMA T50 and I saw this car on scalemates! If I saw this video before I built, I kit I would have assembled the doors similar, I left the seams exposed but your Mantis Green is beautiful!

    Oh wow, simply awesome work Oleg! At first I was skeptical about the colour choice, but now that I'm seeing it finished I'm speechless! Looks amazing in that Mantis Green. Was great following you build this masterpiece. Always a pleasure seeing you at work. Well done.

    Not exactly sure what it accomplishes to sand down the clearcoat on the body parts just to polish it up again, but man that's some dedication - looks phenomenal

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  10 месяцев назад +1

      there is some reason for sanding, w/o sanding goes too though. 😁

      Sanding paint after clear coat....really gives a difference at the end.....End result is awesome❤

    Very nice build. Can I ask why did you cut and pin the part right at the start of the clip?

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  10 месяцев назад

      thanks mate. i do not like to mask parts. for me easier cut it and paint separate :)

    34:10 - Um, I don't think the bonnet was supposed to be glued on... Still, insanely long build but it's worth it. Even halfway through the build, it looked amazingly like closeup pictures of a real car.

    What finishing paste did you use to remove overspray from the clear coat?

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  6 месяцев назад

      you can use any finishing paste, like tamiya finish, or any automotive, they all work well

    I clicked on this thinking it would be a fun kit for me to build.
    But now I realise I'm better of leaving it to the pro's!
    Too much painstaking detail for me, and I don't have an airbrush to get that nice finish.

    • @Scaleautoshop
      @Scaleautoshop  10 месяцев назад

      thanks! airbrush is needed for good finish that is true.

      Another idiot who has not heard of a mute or volume switch. There is no narration and the video has subtitles so there is no need to whinge and cry about the music, just mute the sound. 🤣
