      They want to keep everything secret so they can destroy what doesn’t fit the narrative and get paid off books and tours and research of what remains. To expose all to the world immediately would take their income source and control. Bottom line.

    Apparently this was not recently discovered, it was a workers village first excavated in the 1936 [Credit to Ancient Architects on youtube] It was discussed in a 1936 paper by Clement Robichon and Alexandre Varille.
    I'm disgusted by the mis-information around this by Hawass and Team, so disappointing.

    This is a way to attract more tourists money to come to Egypt and pay for new multi million dollar state of the art museum, Aten City was in the sands for along time and they knew about it, they just never bothered digging it up, it is good to see how the simple people lived not just the large monuments.

    • @amanfizz
      @amanfizz 3 года назад +6

      That's what i was thinking just after seeing all that news. They are just doing this to attract tourists to visit again coz of covid no-one is ready to travel for a lost city. But they advertised it nicely so that the economy gets money as they used to. Great move Egypt!

    • @frankkolton1780
      @frankkolton1780 3 года назад +7

      My first thought as well. Many of the walls have been in plain view for the last 100 years, a highway and a blacktopped road (Kings Valley Road) go right by it, you can see the site on google maps (the images are about 4 years old). Egypt's tourism has been suffering since the 2011 revolution, then of course Covid. Not even famed Dr. Hawass can bring back the tourists no matter how many "new" old discoveries they been trying to foist upon the international press.

    • @bunzeebear2973
      @bunzeebear2973 3 года назад +3

      @@frankkolton1780 "Deir El Medina" is visible by the photographs. It has straight walls. Found 1922. It was where the workers for the Valley of the Kings lived and they walked to the valley to work. No different than mining or logging or construction camps. You are camped close (but not on top of) the place of work. Egypt worked it out with Google Earth that people can NOT SEE inside or outside of their "stuff". No different than Disney Land or Disney World...or any other attraction...that people pay money to see.
      .This discovery is new considering it is on the other side of the road and the walls are squiggly. (Which gives it away) Also it was 10feet under the sand deeper, making it before the "VoK" workforce.

    It`s not a lost Golden City, it isn`t even a city, it`s a workers village with crude dwellings and workshops that was originally found in the 1930s, the site in question has been known about since the early 1930s. In 1936, Clement Robichon and Alexandre Varille released a paper in French titled: The Temple of the Royal Scribe Amenhotep, son of Hapu, These French explorers didn't excavate the specific patch of ground excavated in 2020/21, but they did excavate part of the same site, which as their descriptions and finds show, is clearly the same site. This isn't a lost golden city. It also has no obvious association with King Tutankhamen as the media are implying. The boy king never lived here and in truth it isn't the greatest discovery since King Tut. It's a standard workers village, not a city, as well as their workshops from the reign of Amenhotep III, situated behind his mortuary temple, probably abandoned after the king died.

    This site is not lost, not golden and not a city. It is a workers village connected with Amenhotep's palace called Malkata. The workers and artisans who worked in Malkata lived here. It's been known about for almost a hundred years having been was first excavated in the 1930's by the French then worked on in later times as well. It was never that interesting, not much was ever found here and thus was not published. The Egyptian government re-excavated recently and hyped it up to try to get tourists here in an extremely depressed economy. Tourism is 80% of Egypt's economy.

      Because it was known about in the 1930s and should really be called 'Lost' Beige City there's nothing Gold about it. Look for Golden City exposed on youtube. It's a marketing ploy now that Covid is nearly over.

    Ge 11:3) In ancient Egypt, the enslaved Israelites labored at brickmaking. Their lot was made more difficult by having to gather the straw themselves and still produce the same number of bricks. (Ex 5:7-19) In the Promised Land, the Israelites continued using bricks in construction work, although it appears that stone was preferred. (Isa 9:10) While abundant in the hills of Palestine, in some sections little good-quality building stone is available. Hence in the lowlands, at cities such as Jericho and Ezion-geber, brick was used not only for the city walls but also for dwellings. In modern times in parts of Syria and Palestine, houses have been built partly of hewed stone with the remainder of sun-dried brick, the hewed stone being used for the walls most exposed to winter storms.
