Facts one day RUclips recommended me the first episode and at first I was like oh another wait 10 years for drops on a one block void. Till I saw it was on 'hardest modpack' which can only be GTNH so I was intrigued how it would get passed literally anything as GTNH makes everything but breathing hard. Now I'm invested in the BEES
Eldritch god: "as a punishment for your hubris, i shall transport you into a dimension filled with nothing but void, you shall die and revive constantly, and on top of that, once your bodies fill enough of an area, i shall constantly spawn beasts to do nothing but torture and torment you" Eldritch god when he comes back to check on your eternal torment and realize you built a kardashev 3 civilization fueled by the mobs he spawned: 😮

I have not played kitchen sink mod packs like this in ages. Mostly due to an inability to wade through complex mechanics like bees, goose juice, and chemistry. So seeing someone else do it is fascinating.
GT:NH is much less of a kitchen sink modpack than you'd expect. It has a really good quest book and good documentation for most of it. They even modified and custom made a bunch of mods to make everything balanced. I should note, "balanced" does not mean easy, or fast. GT:NH takes around 5 years to get to the "end" of the modpack, which is making a Stargate. It's actually recommended by the modpack creators to go for a less difficult goal, like getting to space, or getting the best rocket, instead of a Stargate.
@owenchafer1083 As an avid Factorio player, I can confirm. Completing Pyanodons, the hardest Factorio mod, takes 1200-2000 hours depending on your pace and familiarity with certain ideas that don't come up in small-scale base building (e.g., you can't really complete Py without a cityblock). In contrast, GT:NH is 3000-6000 hours, is grindier, and boy does it try to make your life miserable (e.g., when foraying into bees and magic). Py is very complex-but for every normal tools it takes from you, it gives you something fun in return (filter inserters that don't require electricity, early bots, caravans, etc.).

Good stuff! Maybe a smeltery with a regenerating infernal enderman in it could serve as a less potentially hazardous form of ender pearl farming, since if some special mob can cause the egg to drop on the ground.. well.
