Thing that a lot of people don't know: All the stuff Pneuma does: -Grabs and holds all aggro -makes Rex immune to death (This is not really accurate, see below for details. Seems to just be OHKO protection) -100% crit rate for party -50% party-wide accuracy and evasion buff -hits all orbs once in chain attack Yeah she doesn't have Lightspeed Flurry, but otherwise she's busted. Always trigger her pre-chain attack for ridiculous damage.
You can die with Pneuma. She just makes it really easy to recover before damage on you gets too overwhelming (with most enemies, depending on your level range). If an enemy skill takes you down to 1 (as she never lets you get OHKOd to my knowledge) and similar damage is done to you very quickly before she can recover, youll die. Typically only will happen if you're a lower level and being aggrod by a decent amount of ruthless enemies though (and a UM obv). First and only time I recall it ever happening to me was in Boreas' ruthless hermes (plus possy) fight in temperantia.
Final Sentinel Imagine if she was like a regular blade, if she had lightspeed flurry and could activate it more than once per battle. At this point do we even need parties.
Something I found in Elpys completely by accident. Had just fallen onto a platform with an enemy on it (I think it was one of the platforms with poison), and was using Sheba. The recoil from her cannon pushed me off of the platform onto a lower one, but that's not the interesting part. Morag and Zeke were still on the platform above fighting the enemy. I was getting impatient so I tried starting a chain attack, but it just failed and filled back up again (must have been out of range). The cool thing was is that Morag had the chain attack health restore accessory, so you could spam chain attack it would fail but it still restored HP, effectively making you invincible. I don't think there's much use for this but maybe you could cheese Orion... even cheesier? Also, Urayans are OP. The lot of them.
The ladder trick was a carry over from Xenoblade 1. No one is quite sure why it happened in that game, but I guess the devs kept it in this one to be cheeky.
You can move as you auto attack to reset the animation and auto attack faster and get very fast art recharge times. Works best with Rex and pyra/mythra on the first auto attack of the three.
AireDrew _ YES I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY I discovered auto resetting before pouch items so I'd use it to charge arts 😂😂 Also really good on crit mythra if you get unlucky
I wonder if that area past the current accessible section of Temperantia is there for the new story content coming in October....... Urgh, 7 months away, I can’t wait!
people always think this somehow people got the same idea about north of the map in BOTW that’s just not how it works when it’s just an endless flatland that probably ends in the land stopping being solid and you falling into the void
Shinji103 yeah I realize that now and now I fell like worlds biggest dumbass I’ve learned my lesson to watch every detail in videos before responding to comments
Here's a pretty helpful tip If you're fighting an enemy, any enemy in the game, and they prepare an op attack to kill your entire team, wait for the moment just before you take the damage and initiate a chain attack. If you time this correctly you'll be able to narrowly avoid death in some fights that are way out of your league. Doing this with a crit mythra I've cheesed so many bosses and superiorly leveled monsters.
Just to add to this fact, you can do the same but it is easier if you do a level 4 special with a blade while the enemy attack is being used. You wont take any damage and no debuffs. The margin for error is larger though becuase a chain attack last longer. But i perfer the lvl 4 special method becuase it requires less for it to be achieved.
PinDaGreat I had to use it to get past one of the Gerald Sovereigns on my first climb up the World Tree since I was massively under leveled for the area.
Duck_Vader what's fun is getting S+ trust and going ham with chain attack crit and special damage That way you can just walk up to him with a full party gauge and execute him😂
2:25 I had a chip on Brighid where it makes the weapons blue kinda cyan color and the bulk around the handles covered Rex and Pyras face in her battle 9n the bridge in Mor Ardain lol
There is actually an easier way to get down. The jump to the net you climb on is kind of tricky from that location, but if you just run straight off the edge from the entrance and loop back on yourself, there is a set of platforms underneath that let you get to the same floating platform with the chest without having to land on the climbable surface.
Fact! You can't control your party which enemy to attack if you equip Jin (your only teammate is Rex :D) . You can't use your chain attack too!( I know that because I'm trying to max 99lvl Jin)
okay that 2nd one surprised me a lot and i was literally looking for a way to cheese the orion fight, as some guy in another video said that to me a few hours ago i'll have to try it once i get back there on NG+
I even have a bit more info about the first point: the reason why QT/QTpi is that popular is that damage calculation doesnt care which Blade started the Driver Art. It uses the stats of the currently active Blade when the projectiles hit their target.
You can auto-run too. While you're walking/running, press Y and you'll keep going in a straight line at the speed you were going at when you pressed the button. You can adjust the direction you're going in by tilting the joystick upwards and left/right.
Wow i didn't know there was out of bounds in temperantia. Im not sure if they patched these but heres two out of bounds glitches i randomly found while messing around. 1. The ladder you can put down in Garfont can be clipped through if angled correctly. I found this completely on accident when I was going to clmb the ladder. Interestingly, if you fall out of the area you can see that the tail of Uraya is rendered all the way from garfont. 2. This one isn't as interesting, but at the back of the Hero's vault in Spirit Crucible you can clip out of bounds by jumping behind the right pillar in the way back
Damn Gladiator Orion, thought "oh only lv. 100 should be easy compared to the other superbosses with even higher levels". Took me like 1 to 2 hours. AND NOW I KNOW HE WAS CHEESEABLE
Here’s a good tip, use stutter stepping. It’s a fantastic tactic and up until you’re ready to start quick killing super bosses, it is useful throughout the entire game. Scored a 9/10 here personally, the Spirit Crucible Elpys one got me.
I only knew 3. Ladder aggro remover when going to places quickly n being chased, Blades with dif weapons in cut scenes (I really like the emphasis on how u change the blade n it effects game play cut scenes since that means they probably have one for every blade weapon look change) and the thing I always like doing n Cheesing that boss/enemies I can knock off a ledge for in instant kill (The irony is I wanted to legit fight the boss but it somehow fell off without me doing it myself)
I knew 2 of these, the ladder trick for no aggro I discovered when running away from a level 79 ish flying enemy on Gormott, early game (can't remember it's name). I just went on the vine ladder, it was right next to me and as soon as I started to decend, aggro was gone. The other thing I knew already was the chest in Mor Ardain, found it on my first time going through to that area in my own trying to walk up a mountain Skyrim style rather that just getting the key.
Yeah I knew the elpys one! I did that in my first and second playthrough bc traveling through that area was too annoying so finding a way to jump down was much easier
I knew I think 7 of these. I didn’t know the: Chain attack after an art The Gladiator Orion cheese And the Liked Pouch items = More recharge per second.
I knew the ladder trick from xenoblade chronicles 1 and i knew about the chest. The most surprising was the chain attack one tbh, never thought of doing it
i knew about the ladders and the one that surprised me the most is the Orion Cheat. the area in temperantia may be the true elysium lol. credits to the one who discovered it.
I thought you would put the one about Amalthus model in-game having the Fan Core Crystal in his head (during the Praetorium) even before the game shows it to you. I don't know why they would use that model instead of the one without cristal from the cutscenes.
Whoah, the Chain Attack trick is pretty great ! (Well it' sur not like the game has any challenge when you've Mythra and Poppi QTpi but still). Also, would have loved to know about the Orion cheese before dying ten times against him...
After the boss fight in the land of Morthra Rex has a Id card with a picture of someone who looks to be shulk. I haven't play xc1 so if anyone knows if this did belong to shulk it would be amazing.
Damn so thats how I deleted amalthus bedore the chain attack for some reason. Initiated Pneuma's lvl 3 into chainattack and the life bar drained like 50℅
I think I might have known about, like, two of these things, hah. Wouldn't it be cool if they added another secret Superboss, like a suuuuuper hard one, in that empty wasteland in Temperentia? I think it'd be kinda spooky, even XD
I had more trouble with perny than I did with Orion, I felt Orion had more delays in between his attacks than perny (I was using Morag), his deadliest attacks are also easy to dodge using a level 3 special, wheras Perny's deadliest attack Beast Crash is very hard to dodge with a level 3 special as it inflicts break/topple/launch in a short time frame after the attack shows up on the screen so if you're too slow with the level 3 it will interrupt activation and your team will take massive damage.
I have a problem with getting S+ Trust on Kora, her trust isn't increasing at all. I don't know if it matters but i had her on Rex first and completed her affinity chart while still on Rex and left her Trust at S. Then i released her to get her on Nia. And now i equipped her on Rex to start getting S+. I'm also trying to get S+ on Godfrey and his trust is increasing. So i don't know what's happening.
Patrick Simpson there’s a glitch where if u release a Rare Blade and put it on another driver or the same driver when it is re awakened it’s trust will be the same but it will no longer increase so basically u fucking your self cause u didn’t use a Overdrive Protocol which are so easily obtained from maxing out a Common 4 Crowns Affinity Chart then releasing it
I kind of knew them all . When I say kind of is that I half knew the last one to escape the area I saw a video about it but I forgot about it so I . Kind of learned one.
Does anybody know how to get to the red chest at Mor Ardain where you can comeback with a Wind spot, near the Skeeters ??? Really i tryed everything i knew to land on it without dying
I don't get it, why is gladiator orion considered to be the hardest super boss? I beat him on my second attempt with a full party. Do People mean without a full party or what?
Wait, are you supposed to be able to unlock that gate in lower Mor Ardain? I just went through the old industrial district labyrinth, killed or ran past the 2 big level ~35 spiders and went from there
HyperLuigi There's a key in the lowest part of the map when the sea cloud is low, it's near the place you find one of the items for the quest from Vess.
Try using an Aux Core/Accessory, forgot what it was, that extends your Ether Cannon range! Alternatively, make sure you drop down from the near edge and don't move until you can land those first hits.
another thing, do you think you will do super boss guides? as i love xenoblade and other rpgs but i suck at making characters good like i still only have the same aux cores on that you get in torigoth and never used aux since as i suck at strategic stuff so i usually follow a guide. soo i usually just love to over power enemys so i need a good guide with a build and everthing to beat the super bosses.
I wish xenoblade chronicles 2 was harder than the first game, the first play through of 2 was so easy cause chain attacks are so broken in this one, in 1 i struggled going in blind cause i didnt know good gear and the best gems to run. I knew some good gems to run on certain charcs, but like i didnt know how to build dunban. (I like ranting if u cant tell) first game was way harder from arts recharged over time not by basics, and affinity in battle was huge if anyone knows the first game uk what i mean.
I knew some of these but most of them no... Lol but my first time in the Spirit Crucible I did spend like 30min trying to jump to the bottom. I did it some how haha
Ukulele Pichu 64 it’s cause of how dumb your AI party members are attacking during Hazy Moon True Hazy Moon Bared Counter and True Bared Counter and the constant toppling
Thank you for the pouch item one. Yet again, another tragically underexplained mechanic in this game. Seriously this game needs dedicated and extensive tutorials
Did you know that you could see the mech fight between mikhail and indol from other titans, randomly discovered this while exploring gormott
The legend of Tux WAIT WHAT REALLY!? Need to see this when I get there in newgame+
flint 617524 same
Cool
The legend of Tux dude WHAT can you please explain where you saw this??
Where in Gormott did u see it? It’s too cloudy
Thing that a lot of people don't know: All the stuff Pneuma does:

all right, ty for the detailed answer :)
Zonoya Chris np lol. It's good to know
Final Sentinel Imagine if she was like a regular blade, if she had lightspeed flurry and could activate it more than once per battle.
At this point do we even need parties.
I have 240 hours in this game, and I thought I knew most things. It turns out I knew nothing. I was a fool.
why are you every single god damn xenoblade video lol
Fools indeed
I always loved how climbing makes u basically invisible to monsters lol
I noticed this when I had to chase after Pyra in my casual run, it always makes me laugh the way the AI just can't process you being on a ladder.
"Alright let's fight!"
Main character gets on ladder.
"Huh? Where they go? Damn, we lost them."
I knew the ladder one. Thanks Chuggaconroy!
Same here, it saved my skin so many times
Funny that chugga is doing a XC2 play through
@@itshigurashiis thats what i just said
Lol Tora dancing on Amalthus' throne.
Tora is the praetor now!
Something I found in Elpys completely by accident. Had just fallen onto a platform with an enemy on it (I think it was one of the platforms with poison), and was using Sheba. It should become a staple for the series lol

AireDrew _ YES I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY
I discovered auto resetting before pouch items so I'd use it to charge arts 😂😂
Also really good on crit mythra if you get unlucky
Actually found it out in the first battle on gramps' back
Chuggaaconroy is the foat for teaching me but I never used it
Damn. I only knew of the ladder exploit.
Wait you didn't know ladder takes off aggro cause I did
I wonder if that area past the current accessible section of Temperantia is there for the new story content coming in October.......
Urgh, 7 months away, I can’t wait!
people always think this
somehow people got the same idea about north of the map in BOTW
that’s just not how it works when it’s just an endless flatland that probably ends in the land stopping being solid and you falling into the void
Call me Zelda ONE moar time ? I assume you’re being sarcastic, because we’re talking about the area past the rock barrier at the north of the map.
Shinji103 yeah I realize that now and now I fell like worlds biggest dumbass I’ve learned my lesson to watch every detail in videos before responding to comments
Here's a pretty helpful tip

If you time this correctly you'll be able to narrowly avoid death in some fights that are way out of your league.
Doing this with a crit mythra I've cheesed so many bosses and superiorly leveled monsters.
Yeah, just like the final boss.
You can do the same thing by timing L4 Specials and L3 Blade Combos just right. You get invincibility while the animation plays out
CinemaCraftCreations I did that for the final boss
Just to add to this fact, you can do the same but it is easier if you do a level 4 special with a blade while the enemy attack is being used. You wont take any damage and no debuffs. The margin for error is larger though becuase a chain attack last longer. But i perfer the lvl 4 special method becuase it requires less for it to be achieved.
I dubbed the fight leaving with ladders: Ladder Canceling. I've known it since my first playthrough.
I've known this since the first game and I called it "leave them hanging".
Well I've never played the original or X so I didn't know it was a thing through the whole series.
PinDaGreat
I had to use it to get past one of the Gerald Sovereigns on my first climb up the World Tree since I was massively under leveled for the area.
This was a great video! I love learning new things about XC2!
That Gladiator Orion tip is going to come in very handy. Very handy indeed. *insert evil grin*
Duck_Vader what's fun is getting S+ trust and going ham with chain attack crit and special damage
That way you can just walk up to him with a full party gauge and execute him😂
Quite interesting, I must agree, *evil laugh*😅
I just built 4 orbs and deleted him with Poppi and won on my first try... shows how broken maxed Poppi really is
Asra - Did he throw you off the ledge?
Asra - Never had that problem while using reflect immunity aux core. But Kos Mos's lvl 2 special did save my bacon several times.
The Gladiator Orion one surprised me the most. I hated fighting that superboss but I’d love to try this strategy.
Coming from XC1 I knew about the ladder aggro trick. I also disgraced Gladiator. The rest I was unaware of. GG
Damn, I played XC1 a lot and I didn't know about it until now lol
I knew one, MAYBE two, this was an amazing video.
2:25 I had a chip on Brighid where it makes the weapons blue kinda cyan color and the bulk around the handles covered Rex and Pyras face in her battle 9n the bridge in Mor Ardain lol
I was super suspicious of why even bother having Driver's favourite items, that it had to bring in some sort of gameplay mechanic. Finally, I know it.
I’m a big Xenoblade fan but even I didn’t know the Spirit Crucible Elpys one, would have saved me about 2 hours of searching ,y first time around😅.
I cleared it in under an hour first time through. Then again, I was kinda overleveled.
For me it wasn't about difficulty - the place is practically a labyrinth.
There is actually an easier way to get down. The jump to the net you climb on is kind of tricky from that location, but if you just run straight off the edge from the entrance and loop back on yourself, there is a set of platforms underneath that let you get to the same floating platform with the chest without having to land on the climbable surface.
Same!
I had seen people fail that
Fact! You can't control your party which enemy to attack if you equip Jin (your only teammate is Rex :D) . You can't use your chain attack too!( I know that because I'm trying to max 99lvl Jin)
Wow! Nice. I love this game and this video had some great stuff I did not know! Really cool. Thanks!

#7 Hey I found that one. Thanks for acknowledging it
Wow i didn't know there was out of bounds in temperantia. Im not sure if they patched these but heres two out of bounds glitches i randomly found while messing around.

I still havent opened the Anagham Gate... I didn't even know you were supposed to open it. I have 100 hours in this game..
I knew only 2 of these, great job!
I knew only three, good job
I knew 2 of these, the ladder trick for no aggro I discovered when running away from a level 79 ish flying enemy on Gormott, early game (can't remember it's name). Stormsurge28 I like Skyrim styling things in Games XD
Yeah I knew the elpys one! I did that in my first and second playthrough bc traveling through that area was too annoying so finding a way to jump down was much easier
I knew I think 7 of these.
I didn’t know the:
Chain attack after an art
The Gladiator Orion cheese
And the Liked Pouch items = More recharge per second.
I'm happy about the last one I have been meaning to try
Great video!
Thank you! ^^
I'll right. Let's see how accurate this title is.
Alright. You did pretty good. Better then most videos with this kind of title.
I wish that Monolith Soft would add a feature that allows me to Fornite dance as Rex.
The ladder/climbing surface thing was in the first Xenoblade as well.
3:17
Is it always 10 levels? Does this mean I wasted 1 hour to kill tyranotitan at level 85?
Did you know you can insta kill amalthus by throwing him into the hole in his boss fight
I thought you would put the one about Amalthus model in-game having the Fan Core Crystal in his head (during the Praetorium) even before the game shows it to you. I don't know why they would use that model instead of the one without cristal from the cutscenes.
I didn't know three of them. Time to get to work to find more exploits.
The ladder trick was also in Xenoblade one. Another connection, it seems
that first one will be helpful for superbosses for me.
Whoah, the Chain Attack trick is pretty great ! (Well it' sur not like the game has any challenge when you've Mythra and Poppi QTpi but still). Also, would have loved to know about the Orion cheese before dying ten times against him...
I cant pull out the number one tip to work, any advice?
now i know what to do when i hear "Scatter Shot" go through
The title card is making me want a anime of xenoblade cronicles 2
I only knew of the ladder one and the ng+ core chips.
Hi Dev, what is the name of the music at the end?
The favorite item thing is pretty interesting.
After the boss fight in the land of Morthra Rex has a Id card with a picture of someone who looks to be shulk. I haven't play xc1 so if anyone knows if this did belong to shulk it would be amazing.
I'm pretty sure it was the girl who tried to stop Klaus
I knew 8 of them, the only 2 I did not know were the orion cheese and the temperatia out of bounds trick
What I need to know is how you made Poppi dance at the end!
Why no new vids for 1.3.1 ? Do you have new builds for new blades?
Damn so thats how I deleted amalthus bedore the chain attack for some reason. Initiated Pneuma's lvl 3 into chainattack and the life bar drained like 50℅
I think I might have known about, like, two of these things, hah. Wouldn't it be cool if they added another secret Superboss, like a suuuuuper hard one, in that empty wasteland in Temperentia? I think it'd be kinda spooky, even XD
biggest surprise is how you could achieve whopping 5500 sp when following your strategy from previous video, I could only get around 3300 :(
Pretty sure there is another hidden chest in that area of Mor Ardain. Forget exactly where it was though (think it was across on overhang).
11
Poppi LOVES to dance
I was surprised by 8-10 and knew the other ones
I only didnt know the ladder and the temperantia one
2:41
Is he really the hardest? I shit on him pretty bad
Then again I had a crit mythra and a near fully maxed out tora(and poppis)
I had more trouble with perny than I did with Orion, I felt Orion had more delays in between his attacks than perny (I was using Morag), his deadliest attacks are also easy to dodge using a level 3 special, wheras Perny's deadliest attack Beast Crash is very hard to dodge with a level 3 special as it inflicts break/topple/launch in a short time frame after the attack shows up on the screen so if you're too slow with the level 3 it will interrupt activation and your team will take massive damage.

Call me Zelda ONE moar time oof
Call me Zelda ONE moar time the thing is i didn't know you could farm Overdrive Protocols before i released Kora. Thanks for the answer though.
Patrick Simpson lol np and well... now ya know XD
You are the best.
I kind of knew them all . When I say kind of is that I half knew the last one to escape the area I saw a video about it but I forgot about it so I . Kind of learned one.
0.01 I didn’t know Tora was teh king
You know what?
I think I will subscribe
I never know chain attacks existed until chapter 8. Have I done something wrong?
Does anybody know how to get to the red chest at Mor Ardain where you can comeback with a Wind spot, near the Skeeters ??? Really i tryed everything i knew to land on it without dying
@9 xD i never know there was actual a key for that door
I only knew about the ladder aggro. This game has way too many little secrets
I don't get it, why is gladiator orion considered to be the hardest super boss? I beat him on my second attempt with a full party. Do People mean without a full party or what?
If there's only one thing i didn't know i give a sub
There can't be thing i didn't knew
I put in 258 hours in this game and i never knew any of these got damn
so..... if i used the orion tip , could i beat him with my mid level sixtys team?
Wait, are you supposed to be able to unlock that gate in lower Mor Ardain? I just went through the old industrial district labyrinth, killed or ran past the 2 big level ~35 spiders and went from there
HyperLuigi There's a key in the lowest part of the map when the sea cloud is low, it's near the place you find one of the items for the quest from Vess.
Androzz Senpai What?! How did they ever expect you to find that for the main story?!
I’m walking around in the Fief of Forgetfulness and I see no key...
HyperLuigi you’re supposed to go through the factory the first time, but the key is there
HyperLuigi there’s a key in the Old Industrial district I forgot which room it’s either the control room or it’s guarded by a unique Igna
i just got kos mos! and i have only like the half of all rare blades.
is there a certain setup i should use to beat orion with the cheese as i tried it but my character was never shooting at him
Try using an Aux Core/Accessory, forgot what it was, that extends your Ether Cannon range! Alternatively, make sure you drop down from the near edge and don't move until you can land those first hits.

How do I increase the rate of getting more sp?
Lower your level of a party member, keep 1 or 2 at 99 while fighting a boss or high level enemy.
I knew some of these but most of them no... Lol but my first time in the Spirit Crucible I did spend like 30min trying to jump to the bottom. I did it some how haha
So the Level 100 is what's though of as the Hardest Superboss.... Funny that that's the first Superboss I fought
Ukulele Pichu 64 it’s cause of how dumb your AI party members are attacking during Hazy Moon True Hazy Moon Bared Counter and True Bared Counter and the constant toppling
Ah ok. I guess in that case I got fairly lucky then.
Ukulele Pichu 64 I guess u did if u did it as easily as u said XD
How did I never know about the arts and chain attack mechanic
At the end of the video, why did you only have tora in your party?
Onlime go into the character menu press x to change the party order and the press x again on the characters you want to exclude from your party
Orion is supposed to be the hardest superboss? Funny. I didn't have any problems with him at all.
Nice video as always man. But I feel like I knew everything about this game by now... Time to play Kirby Star Allies!
Can't wait for tomorrow to give it a try, too! :D
Jesus Christ man I only knew one of these
Thank you for the pouch item one.
Yet again, another tragically underexplained mechanic in this game. Seriously this game needs dedicated and extensive tutorials
I only knew about number 3 😅
the only thing i didnt know is that you can fight Ophion lol
Nice Reddit art thumbnail
