From Eureka north, you should have been in heavy forest well into Oregon. The Siskiyou Mountains are for the most part heavily wooded. That barren lunar landscape where the new map begins is rubbish. So is the vegetation creeping onto the Interstate. In Oregon you should be in wooded areas everywhere except the cities and especially in the Columbia River valley. But once you clear that, it should be forests again until the Seattle-Tacoma area. You would also pass within view of Mt. St. Helens and especially Mt. Rainier. Without the latter it just ain't Washington.

I would LOVE to see a Trucking Diaries - EU Edition! I've gone back and watched a lot of your older ETS videos, and I think anyone who's into ATS would love to see the different world of ETS as well.Definitely a yes vote from me.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the Trucking Diaries series, but I still stay here for the trucking. I think it would be best if you made videos like the 70 tonne Volvo, the Cardiff to Rostock disaster and special company upgrading videos, just like the good old times for both ETS2 and ATS. In ATS, you can try out some of the funnier mods and give them a go.

I'll be honest here. What I see is going to happen is that ATS will be left in the dust if you start getting more involved with Euro Truck. Since you played that for a while on your channel already, it's easy to go back to the comfort zone. But like most big gaming channels, a popular game ends up dying off once the content creator asks "Should I do this," or "would you like to see this." Seen that time and time again. It would be nice for a change if the current series are continued until completed, or as far as it can go until there is a DLC. Closure is far better than a series eventually dying off because the popular vote says switch. The great annoyance with ATS for me thus far is the small rest areas and gas stations. Apparently this is one area SCS ignored. T/A is the biggest and most well known truck stop in America, and they are dedicated to truckers. Rarely are trucks going to stop at small gas stations because they have no room to maneuver. Most rest areas in America have both passenger car and truck entrances for the same stop. A vast majority on right off the freeway, and are easily accessible Again SCS didn't bother researching this. They also do not seem to care about their customer base either because they never really respond to user complaints, ideas, or whatever. Unless of course you are a big deal on RUclips, or in the game world. IDK. ATS is a cool game, but it is really flawed. The extremely slow map DLC for AZ is killing a lot of fans, and the idea that they are gonna charge you a ton of money most likely for the remaining DLCs making the game over time a $200 game (based on $5 per map).

Arizona isn't far away and that will give more content to explore, but for how long? If I bring in ETS2 as well then I can continue both ATS and ETS2 I think. To me Squirrel the idea of having speeding cameras to catch you speeding seems like entrapment but that could be because I grew up with having cops watching me rather than a hidden camera, and I agree with you on the speedometer problem in the Kenny.

There's two sections of motorway I know of which the carriageway's split level. One is the M6 up in Cumbria and the other is indeed on your way to Devon! The M5 a few miles south of Avonmouth (just south of Bristol).

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It's so addictive! I'd be upset to see this series shelved (for the time being, at least) as I've enjoyed you building your career here, but I do understand where you're coming from with regards to content. It's a perfectly valid point. Maybe do a few months of ETS and then come back to continue on with this ATS series once there's more content available...? Yes I would watch a Euro trucking diaries, it would have lots more different places to visit and more quality mods to choose from. You could start from beginning or you could give your self say 400k to start with or more and you could say that you are expanding from America into Europe just so you can buy your truck early and give your self a head start.

I think that promaps would be the best map mod to use as it seems to give A. a lot extra to drive and B. is of good quantity.
yes truckers flash headlights in the us. I see it almost always on a busy highway. the only difference is here we use our left signal or hazard lights to thank he driver. instead of the left rigt left in europe.

I think an EU diaries would be great. The mods would make it really interesting. Some of those oversized loads in ETS are absolutely classic.
^I also think it would add to your rotation and keep the variety and enjoyment factor higher for you. All of which lead to better videos.

There are other games Squirrel likes to play of which I enjoy very much and that's FSX and X-Plane so he cannot be expected to make lots and lots of ATS exclusively for those of you that complain he doesn't make enough of these.
Yes, I would love to see you do a Euro Trucking Diaries series. The scale of the official road content would make for some great long haul driving, would also like to see some content from the mod community, trailers, destinations and such. But stay true the the game content when it comes to trucks, and please God, pick anything but a Scania.

I'd have no problem with you doing the same thing (career mode) on ETS! I've not long found your channel and literally just spent the last week/week and a half watching all 33 of your ATS videos...! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It's so addictive! I'd be upset to see this series shelved (for the time being, at least) as I've enjoyed you building your career here, but I do understand where you're coming from with regards to content. It's a perfectly valid point. Maybe do a few months of ETS and then come back to continue on with this ATS series once there's more content available...? I'd hate for this series to be lost as you've done so much already.
Whatever you decide to do, I'll happily watch it. The above is just my tuppence worth...! Whether it be an ETS or ATS 'Trucking Diaries' series, I'm sure I'd enjoy it. This ATS series you've done is certainly by far and away the best I've come across...

Yes I would watch a Euro trucking diaries, it would have lots more different places to visit and more quality mods to choose from. You could start from beginning or you could give your self say 400k to start with or more and you could say that you are expanding from America into Europe just so you can buy your truck early and give your self a head start.
+squirrel Yes ets2 trucking diaries sounds good. You should do it. In your ets2 trucking diaries you should do challenges, oversized loads, tolls of doom with oversized loads e.t.c. It would be good to see more ets2 videos especially if you do things like the stuff I have said above.

Hi Squirrel, been following for a few weeks now, love you videos, even games i dont play i will still watch. YES YES YES to trucking diaries for Euro track please great idea!! I love the tracking diaries put i only play euro track and it would be really nice to see some of the places i drive to. I think that promaps would be the best map mod to use as it seems to give A. a lot extra to drive and B. is of good quantity.

yes truckers flash headlights in the us. I see it almost always on a busy highway. the only difference is here we use our left signal or hazard lights to thank he driver. instead of the left rigt left in europe.
