Tommy Tuberville is the guy who collected severance packages totaling $15 million not to work when he was fired from Auburn, Texas Tech and the University of Cincinnati. Then he voted against extending Covid relief for a few months, saying people shouldn't get used to getting paid for not working. Between his jobs at Texas Tech and Cincinnati, he settled a lawsuit where investors in a hedge fund he was helping to manage said they had been defrauded out of $1.7 million. He's a real friend of the working man. The idea of somebody as dumb as Tuberville trying to manage a hedge fund is hilarious.

I have an autistic child and don't get a damn thing from the state except a minimal caretaker health benefit. No food stamps and will never get a cost if living increase. But if I was an illegal immigrant I would get $2,500 for myself and the same for my son. Talk about bullshit. Let these assholes in congress that are spending our money like that try to live on what I get a month. Alabama is not a good place for Space Command. Tubby doesn't know anything about orbital mechanics and weather patterns in southeast. Also, Alabama ranks 45th in education. Tubberville should stop crying and complaining and work to improve education and quality of life for the residents of Alabama. He doesn't even live in Alabama he lives in Florida. This is what happens when you let coaches with degrees in physical Ed and never served in the military assume the responsibility of a us senator. And yes he put our military readiness in danger and has proven he is reckless. I say to the people of Alabama "you get what deserve when you elect radical Republicans. Government and corporations will not invest in Alabama and the citizens will pay the price. The only business that come to your state is corporations like Monsanto, who made Anniston, AL a Superfund site, killing your people and your elected officials allowing it and profiting from Monsanto." Tubberville and Britt need to address discrepancies in Alabama before they complain about not getting dod contracts. Any state that has low quality of life for it's residents should never be considered for investment. Alabama Vote blue because voting republican red has not benefited your residents. Good luck😢

If there hadn't been a cap on earnings subject to Social Security, Tuberville wouldn't be lying about paying $1 million into Social Security. He couldn't have paid more than $300K or so into the system based on annual caps. It's basic math, 6.2% times the income cap amount for every year he worked. The maximum for 2024 is barely over $10K, which would mean even at this year's number it would take almost 100 years to pay $1 million into Social Security as he's claiming.
