Out of all the videos of the KIA Optima 2011, this is by far the best. Very well detailed. You covered all the important aspects and I got a comprehensive insight into what I think will dominate the mid sized sedan market.
i have the blue '12 optima sx-t sports touring ... no navigation but still has satellite/HD radio with back up camera... great ride, great fuel efficiency... and chicks love this car :)
@Raideurz : I found an answer on the web : "It has to do with the video-sync (refresh rate) mismatch of the recording and the LED lights. Basically speaking the LED light output refresh rate is different than that of the video recording and thus you see a "flicker" of sorts. The LED lights wouldn't be flickering when looked at directly with the human eye because they refresh faster than the human eye can detect and the eye blends it all together where a camera can not. "
Korean Cars have certainly come a loooooong way. Although i wouldnt buy this car, i gotta say i looks wayyy better then most cars in its class. only compliant would be the interior it looks very outdated. but overall nice car reminds me of a TSX from the front and an audi for the tail lights.
for sure, in a hot weather, you will not get 274 HP out of this car. If you want a 270 HP or over, get a V6 Honda, where the mechanical power does not get effected by temperature.
looks like kia tried too hard.. and also looks as if they were trying to copy audis new a6 with the styling, the 2012 dodge charger with the interior, but in the end its still a kia...
I think its worth it, Kia has made a real effort to try to not just stand out more, but offer so much for your buck. with this new model, Its on par with all the top cars like honda, toyota and nissan. The early years did give the car a bad look for being cheap and unattractive styling, but now it has changed. It is very much worth putting an investment on them, because They are topping most cars now in the segment. Kia's partner car, the Hyundai sonata is the top car in the whole class.
