Love it. Same year, make and model. I am so glad you are going this route this time. Let us know if you have any questions on our build. We have added and change a few things since you last saw it. We are in upstate NY for the summer. Congratulations. Welcome to the Ambo family. ❤️
A 2 wheel drive ambulance of the same age in decent condition can run $5-15k. If you want 4x4, the U-Joint or Quigley conversion (like ours) is around $10k + install. A simple conversion can be done for $5-15k where more elaborate ones will run around $40k. Ours will be more on the elaborate side.
We will be installing seatbelts in the dining area and there will be a pass through :) Likely one of us will always be in the back with the boys while the other drives...at least until our boys are older.
@@happybonesfamily As the passenger AC & heater have been taken out, how do you handle the extreme weather while riding with two boys at the back box after seal belts are installed?
@@donj.giovanni7551 the heater and AC for the cab are still intact. The box will also have its own AC and heater that will be operational while we're moving.
@@happybonesfamily You have planned out well. I thought AC for the box has been taken out when the roof was raised. I am sure you will installed new heater & AC. Do you have a video of touring your finished conversion? Thanks again.
