I just came back from a 2000 road trip in my Taigun and it was an awesome experience. No issues while overtaking on ghats with AC on and 3 people and luggage in the car. Driving the car as suggested by Sunderdeep ji and got a mileage of 17.7 kmpl. Going to the workshop for my first inspection.

Really wanted to buy Taigun / Kushaq. What turned me off: 1. it is not a proper 5 seater. It is just too tight for a family of 5 and its very small 2. Interiors are not the greatest. They did a wonderful job with Virtus, but just not with Taigun 3. I like the exteriors but why so much chrome. WV should just ditch it 4. It is very difficult to work with the touch panel for AC. I personally need those physical knobs Why I really wanted it: 1. Amazing engine and handling 2. Seats are comfortable and leg space is good 3. Heavy build quality and 5 star ncap Then tried for virtus: Its not practical for my family. The low seating doesn't work for ageing parents and with pagdi, the height is just not enough for tall people in rear seats. In short, these are enthusiast's cars and not family cars in my personal opinion. Will have to check out slightly wider cars : creta, seltos, elevate under consideration.

Sir , I have Skoda slavia 1.0 style variant, two days back I got burning smell from the car , so I dropped the car to Skoda service centre, the mechanic is claiming the clutch is gone and needs replacement .The car has only 3600 km done and one year old. There is an extra warranty that non other manufacture will give which is warranty against aging of design. I am sure that even if after 10 tears even with EV design the VW cars will look attractive.

I agree with you fully Paaji. And VW-Skoda 1.5 TSI Engine is the best among the competition. Aap VW fan हो तो agree नही करोगे, ₹22 lacs invest करने के बाद आप 5 member family को Comfortablely नहीं बिठा सकोगे. For Car for 4 members 1.5 TSI is frightfully expensive & 1.5 is not available in MT from Base variant. Apart from the 2 they offer poor Spares Stockings - availability & Service Stn Network. These are the main reasons why Kushaq-Tiagun Sales nos. gets restricted to 3-4,000 Units / Month only against competition. VW-Skoda have failed to understand our Indian family values & buyers requirements. Would say it's a shame for Global leaders their Market Share is around 1% of total car Sales in India. Sab की फट ती है उनकी Cars खरीदने के लिए. Unless If you are a crorepati & care little about spending on big hatch. Presently Market Share of SUV is 49%, MUV 16%, Hatch 27% & Sedan 8%. If budget permits, go for 1.5/DSG, otherwise 1/TC is equally competent. Reliability issues have been fixed in VW 2.0. If city drive is more than 80%, 1/TC is sufficient.

It appears to be a recent trend with the auto journalist/enthusiasts/influencers to give opinions on something as subjective as road presence and the more concerning aspect of this is when the same narrative is echoed across RUclips, prospective customers start getting influenced. Also, before promoting 6 airbags in all cars, you need to make your viewers aware abiut the precautions that car owners need to observe after purchasing a car with 6 airbags and also the likely injuries that they may sustain upon their deployment so that they are prepared for such eventualities.

At some level this is fine, but then you also need to spread awareness about the riding etiquette in such 6 or more airbags vehicle, for both front and more importantly the rear seats, as non-observance of such precautions can actually lead to fatalities due to airbag deployment.

Yes i just tested the ac, its not as effective , even when temperature outside was 31 degree

For Car for 4 members 1.5 TSI is frightfully expensive & 1.5 is not available in MT from Base variant. Apart from the 2 they offer poor Spares Stockings - availability & Service Stn Network.
These are the main reasons why Kushaq-Tiagun Sales nos. gets restricted to 3-4,000 Units / Month only against competition.
VW-Skoda have failed to understand our Indian family values & buyers requirements.
Would say it's a shame for Global leaders their Market Share is around 1% of total car Sales in India.

Although I get a Decent Mileage of 11-16 depending upon the Traffic in my daily commute of around 50kms Delhi to Noida
On Highway the 1.0L engine easily gives 20+ when driven around 90Kmph

If budget permits, go for 1.5/DSG, otherwise 1/TC is equally competent. Reliability issues have been fixed in VW 2.0. If city drive is more than 80%, 1/TC is sufficient.

Also, before promoting 6 airbags in all cars, you need to make your viewers aware abiut the precautions that car owners need to observe after purchasing a car with 6 airbags and also the likely injuries that they may sustain upon their deployment so that they are prepared for such eventualities.

There are those who advocate for it thinking that will make their car safer while not understanding that structural integrity is more important and sometimes the only difference between life and death. While you are not amongst these fools and have always put the structural integrity first, you have also started advocating for "six hai to sahi hai". At some level this is fine, but then you also need to spread awareness about the riding etiquette in such 6 or more airbags vehicle, for both front and more importantly the rear seats, as non-observance of such precautions can actually lead to fatalities due to airbag deployment.
