I didn’t realize What’ll I Do was that old. Bea Arthur did a great version of it on one of the Golden Girls episodes, and should be readily available on RUclips.
Still walk by his restaurant all the time, wondering why someone hasn't tried to used that fantastic property and sign again (no wondering now under the lockdown, but it's just been sitting there all my life abandoned in the heart of Hillcrest)!
Betsy Palmer was so lovely , it kind of taints it a little bit that she played Jason's mother I was generally creeped out by that movie. It just shows what a great actress She was. Because in real life she's a 1000 times removed from that character she was a sweetheart.
As a kid, I watched Fred on My Three Sons, then years later I watched him in The Caine Mutiny. What a contrast! He was such a creepy jerk in the movie it was hard to believe it was the same guy. Great actor.
I would’ve loved to know what other records were in that collection, those excerpts were fascinating.
Fred was a class actor. I love his Westerns
Any recommendations?

My dad use to go horse back riding with F. MacMurray.

What a great episode❤

I love any episode that get Betsy Palmer out from behind the panel's desk.
And I would have loved to have had the opportunity to pull taffy with her.
Aw, Gary, you missed the opportunity to say "I mustache you a question..."
The women on the panel were incredibly beautiful 😊❤
Wonder what happened to the record collection?
George Pernicano was a legendary restaurateur in San Diego.

The IT for the music seems so funny now.Bill Cullen is very smart.
Two years later, George joined Barron Hilton and a few other investors and brought the Chargers to San Diego from LA.
As Garry said at 15:12, fascinating.

Bess Palmer was Jason's mother in the original "Friday the 13th".
The sublime and the ridiculous.
Old Jake Schneider the 78 collector !
The panel members were suppose to have had buttered their hands before they started the taffy pull.
That was a strange episode. Totally random off the wall stuff.

That’s what they did before tattoos were popular.
Wish they had said how the two mustache guys are related or came to meet. Mustache club or something???
They were both members of the “I’ll do anything to get attention” club, which was an offshoot of the “Mine is bigger than yours” club.

They were both well known restaurateurs in San Diego. Pernicano's still has a restaurant in El Cajon.
