I love how the "ssssss" sounds round 1:13 sound like both the hissing of a snake as well as the slow seep of noxious fumes. Too cool.

This sounds really good actually, I thought it would be unhinged and scary but this just slaps
Ikr, this song actually gives me some Chinese vibes (it kinda makes sense since the character is Chinese lol)
Not that I've seen very many of them, but it feels like it's perhaps aiming for a "villain's introduction in a modern kung fu movie" to contrast F.A.N.G.'s intentionally campy, old school kung fu sounding theme.
Idk I would have preferred unhinged and scary.

It's not "unhinged and scary", but it definitely sounds hostile and malevolent. Aki wants to utterly destroy you and she's going to enjoy every moment of it is what this theme is suggesting.

This is hands down my favorite theme so far. Perfectly captures her dangerous allure. If they went this deep for A.K.I., I can only imagine how heavy Akuma's new theme will be.
Update: Akuma's theme has officially trumped A.K.I.'s. Regardless, they're both great.
It better be amazing, I don't even like Akuma but I am excited to see him in this game.

Honestly? Given the hip-hop focus of the game, I'm half expecting they just do a remix of "Worth of My Fist" from _CvS1_ (maybe mixed with "Killing Moon" from _SF3:III_ too) for Akuma. I guess we'll see though.

Much like her master F.A.N.G this is another amazing theme for her. It has that sinister tone to it with a bit Chinese vibes that goes well with it. It is such a banger, much appreciated CAPCOM.

Tune is giving her something relatable... fits her perfectly cause I'm sure she fools her victims in thinking she's a healer but then when coming close she has you as her prey... there is something sooo emotional in this music or is this just me? It’s pretty good, but honestly I think FANG’s theme in SFV was better. I was kinda hoping it would take a bit MORE influence from FANG’s theme, but I’m pretty satisfied with it overall.

There is this rattle that occasionally occurs and it moves from one side of your head phones to the other. I really like that it definitely gives off like a snake rattling kind of vibe
This song definitely makes you feel like your slowly eroding from the inside out. But like... in chill banger format. I dig it.

This theme starts off pretty great, then 1:22 happens and it gets even better.

For such an unhinged character, this theme is quite sophisticated

It starts slow but after 0:43 it becomes like against all odds music. Like a petite woman slowly destroying a muscular wizard and his otherworldly purple magic.
I've been waiting for this to drop since the trailer! If Darkstalkers ever comes back, this is the kind of musical vibe they should totally go with, maybe mixed with a touch of drill instrumental.
Capcom should give Street Fighter a long break and give Darkstalkers the time to shine after finishing the DLC.

When I look at her background, you might think its just poison splashed there. But I see flowers.And their silhouette kinda looks like the spider lily. An interesting touch to say the least. :)

Hot DAMN this theme slapped the hell out of me! A stand out theme in an already amazing soundtrack. From Aki's gameplay reveal trailer I knew her theme was going to be awesome but listening to the whole thing it's just amazing throughout. Might actually be my favourite theme in the whole game now. What a slam dunk debut for a brand new character.

Bruh is it me or is SF6 OST godly
I really think she was influenced *heavily* by the dementia version of Alraune from Bayonetta 2. Alraune's head shape is similar to AKI's hair; Alraune ends up becoming a whip (weapon called Alruna) that looks similar to AKI's moves; Alraune drove herself insane and committed suicide by poison and is now obsessed with it and uses it to subdue her victims; Alraune's nails are long, spikey, inject poison--just like AKI's.
AKI's hair is based on an assassin's hat. Alraune is plant-themed, so her head was probably based on a flower crown or a mushroom cap.
We can feel some similitudes with FANG's theme, with the instrument. I appreciate that
I freaking love this theme so much! I know some people were hoping this would be scary but honestly I think this is fine. It’s still elegantly sinister. I mean let’s not forget Fang’s theme started off with elevator music until it went into a jammin track lol. Plus it really fits with this new street style of music vs the Arcady style of the originals. I know people have their split opinions about the 2 different styles but having this more street style for a game that’s supposed to be about street fighting fits perfectly to me.
Shout out for lyrical three-note coda that spells out A.K.I. 0:16
Can't wait for A.K.I. ! This entire OST's style isn't exactly what I'm into as far as Fighting Game music goes, but I appreciate what they did with its theming and how it works dynamically through rounds. Glad some people are into it though.

Gameplay she's basically just a tweaked version of FANG. Like there's not even 1 other character her gameplay is very close to.

I've listened to the music from the gameplay trailer and I immediately loved it so much. 😊 I was so hyped to listen to the full extended version.

The characterization is super on point, as always. It's incredible how every character theme in SF6 immediately makes you go "That's [x]".
And this most definitely is A.K.I.
I'd argue, not all of them. Kimberly's sounds pretty generic and doesn't match her character at all. Ken's doesn't scream Ken. Etc etc
@@a-pathetic Kim’s and Ken’s themes fit them perfectly. Kim’s is an urban remix of the first final fight stage and Ken’s is like a reminiscence or someone trying to hold onto their identity through tough times, hence why it got a 90’s feel to it.
Can't wait to see Sean and hear his own theme!

Yep, i knew her theme was going to be great from hearing it in the recent trailer, and hearing the whole track here pretty much confirms it. I love that first round segment.
