idk where my original comment went but. From the warthunder wiki: "AIM-9P-5 - Introduces IRCCM incorporated in the AIM-9M variant.This model is also the basis of the Swedish RB74, or RB24L, missile." So the RB74 is actually better than AIM-9L since it's based on an export variant of the AIM-9M variant which uses IRCCM which should have a much better performance against flares. I noticed this misstake with the RB 24J missile as well. Many believe it's the AIM-9J variant but it's not. It's based on AIM-9P-3 which is an upgraded version of AIM-9J with better range, less smoke and some improvements to the guiding and control section. The RB 24J also have a swedish designed laser fuze. I understand that it's easier for the devs to copy the AIM-9 variants and give them a new name, but it's not the same missiles.
I guess this will be the first jet to get amraams since it is made for one, alternatively the F-16A MLU but its more likely that it will have amraams with the F-16V as a seperate plane at a higher BR Interestingly those two are also the latest western jets in game

You're not using your ballistic calculator which is why Sweden doesn't have tracers. You could have nailed that JE7 before firing the second missile. That gun actually kicks like a mule, is really accurate, and still accounts for about half my kills in the JA37C. Once you lock your radar on and get within about 1.5 km, you'll get a green lead indicator which is frighteningly accurate when you shoot at it. Also, the entire radar and targeting system Sweden gets in game is nerfed to their real life counterparts. That's the upgrade that would make Sweden OP - it could track up to 8 bogies and perform targeting on 2 which at it's time was unheard of and was quite difficult to break a lock on. Still is the only plane that could get locks on the SR-71 Blackbird IRL.
It has a better engine,could possibly get that new gun sight thing that was on the dev server, and gaijin could make a case for giving it aim-9Ls. Also more fuel which is always need for Swedish planes.

Pretty sure the only reason they kept going for flares on that J7 is because the J7 is notoriously cold compared to some other top tier aircraft plus I believe he cut afterburner to drop all those flares so that’s kinda expected

The number it shows in the stat card is always gonna be the max possible with nothing equipped. The red number next to it shows how the current loadout impacts the climb rate/ turn time/ max speed.
I agree with BR but JA37D that is now in game is what JA37CC is suppose to be. JA37C carried Rb74. Also had the extra countermeasures. There was no need for JA37D. They could have just add those pods and missiles to JA37C and move JA37C up to 11.3. That is all they needed to do. But no, they will just add the copy and paste

personally I think this is a win because Aim9L (rb74) instead of Aim9P (Rb24J) and a whole load of flares and it will get the Aim 120B (rb99) when that comes to the game

no everything you do on the dev server its separate, now you would have everything you already have when you download the dev server but you would not keep them. like if you grinded to the f14 on the dev server you wouldnt have it when the game itself updated
Its still far too soon for any of the Euro Canard jets, Gripen included it would out perform anything we currently have and are getting, theres a reason its Gen 4.5

I wonder why they did not put the Mig-25 (Foxbat) in before this Mig29? Seems kinda weird... maybe cause of what happened with it and how there own soldier/pilot just planed out how he was going to dodge all his own nations' radar and then Japan's radar and land at a specific airport and give the information to the west. Everyone thought that USSR had a amazing jet and when they back enginered and disasembled the jet the radar was just old radar and nothing special like they claimned and the actual mig25 couldnt withstand the speed for that long period of time without cracking or warping and what not. But hey it is what it is and gaijin wants something thats gonna make the Soviet tree stand out AGAIN.
rb 71 are not good.....the entire plane is worthless is basically just food for the better and much newer planes it does not even have its main feature amraam missiles.
aim 9L isn't even that good, i don't know why people act like its so great, i have dodge 3 in a jet with no flares, the fourth got me but still i'm not impressed by them.

J35J never had countermeasures as far as I can recall, just Aim26 missiles but no countermeasures.

flairs also got buffed and the aim9ls resistance got nerfed, making them not nearly as good now.

Ka50 is easily better than any Apache because of its aa capabilities and imo easier to guide missiles
