@@Kminek246 you could even go as far as the batches 1 and 2 of the Gripen A, those still didn't have IRIS-T missiles and even if they carried AMRAAMs 99% of the time, they were also cleared to carry Rb71s. I don't think it would be better than a Mig-29 or F-16 ADF
And yeah, my guess is that when we get AMRAAMs the JA37D will receive them and get uptiered while the C will get the Rb74 and also get a smaller uptier
I've had the same experience with fast matches but at the 9.7-10.7 mark. The hoards of A10s and A6Es either destroy everything or they get wiped out within 5 minutes. The only time games are prolonged are when people are running in space where they can't reach with their 9Ls.
While this was happening in the background, I was flying my F-5C, got a major uptier and managed to down a Tornado and down an A-10 with my guns whilst missing my left wing (A-10 ripped it off with the 30mm). I landed to fix my plane and got back into the air to go against an AV-8 which was downed by someone else and then the match just immediately ended there.
I used to love the ja37C, sadly the skyflash isnt usable anymore because the usually phenomenal radar of the Viggen got destroyed by Gaijin and now loves going after chaff, even PD mode. But I think now the ja37d with aim 9Ls seems to be great. Only weakness actually is the acceleration. It out turns almost everything and rthe top speed is still great, too.

After passing props in this game and making it past 9.0, I can say that I forgot how to dogfight because the missiles do it for you. I try to go back to props every now and then, but find myself getting absolutely slapped out of the sky because of a stupid mistake that the opponent actually capitalizes.

i honestly dont know why its 11.7... it can't dogfight with any of the other 11.7s, it doesnt have the weapons of other 11.7s(as in no good radar missiles), it is not as fast as other 11.7s so why the fuck is it 11.7?

Turns out anything with that many countermeasures and missiles is pretty ok
There's a reason dogfights don't happen IRL, and it's because they don't have to. You just need some good missiles and either speed or stealth.
