We reached a point where almost EVERY vehicle is bad because of compression. With the M4 at 3.7 for example even low BRs suck in a full uptier. 2.7 vs M4 with stabilizer is atrocious esp for new players. Mid to high tier is mostly infested with annoying premiums like the JU88, SU11 and F5C. War Thunder is not in a good spot right now and needs a serious overhaul.
In my opinion, the J-7D is very good. I get 1-4 Kills per game (downtier 4 on average/uptier 1-2) and even if you get slapped a lot somehow it’s still fun. Can only recommend!
I gotta agree, top tier is just depended on which team has more and better missiles with some guys lobbing 6 missiles at enemy's killing 1/4 or even half of the team from space (as seen with some youtubers). They should just dedicate 1 update to be compression as it would bring more and older players back which means money instead of 70 dollars of premiums Edit: regarding an update where there are now 32 people's possible in a match this ain't relevant anymore but can still be destroyed but people with better missiles
Before the recent update, I was able to use IRST with the RB24J to get a front aspect lock and shoot and I was able to slave the PL-7s to radar for front aspect shots. Can’t do either after the recent update 😢
Yeah and two months into buying this, I have already killed 600 fighters from US, Israel or Japan. In fact, I only kill ones from these three countries.
Who here thinks they'll give this PL-8's soon in the next major since they've been in the files for 11 months and recent BR changes didn't affect this aircraft.

You have the F-104S ASA at 11.3, just because it has AIM-9Ls. At this point, I'd rather have the F-4EJ Kai than my ASA, because this experience is just pain. Now I have the vastly superior F-16A at 11.7 (when I finish researching it) and the Tornado IDS at 11.3 (eventually) despite having half the missiles and only more air-to-ground ordnance, larger countermeasures, and higher maneuverability sometimes. It just doesn't make sense.
I have a question about the winter quest .....what if I miss the 9th quest can I still access the 10th quest ? which is the upgrade coupon, because I plan not to keep the vehicle but to sell it in the market
PL 7 track faster than the 5s off the rails ,its better in chases where the enemy is manouvering hard.Pl5s just go straight for a second or 2 before it tracks .I suggest taking 2 and 2 or 3 and 1 .

Magic 1s are fantastic when people don't have flares/ are an f14 or su25 that have very hot engines. Pl5s make up for G pull in speed and range. Magics had they're range reduced a while back and pl5s are more likely to ignore flares
In practice, (with the a5c) I’ve had WAY more success with the aim9pukes than the magic1s despite everyone saying the magic is better. The magic either goes for flares, goes for something imaginary, or runs out of energy almost every time. But they can do a 180 and kill a teammate behind you lmao

Not for me, I'm trying to get to rank 8 in china for when the J-11A (SU-27) is added , I already have the J7E, but I'd rather fill in that one extra slot with an easy buy , I have no interest in grinding the Taiwan side of the tree because I already have the F-16A for USA, instead it will save me time and I will only have to grind 4 rank 7 chinese jets instead of 5, and I won't have to use the A5C (because it's guns are unbearable to use) to grind to rank 8 for china.

Your argument about Br compression makes no sense the plane has literally the same engine as the J7E same, missiles and a radar. Meanwhile the J7E is still a greatly performing beast capable of clapping at least 4 people if played well. Your argument basically is that since its got IR missiles its bad so thats like saying OK the J7E is bad so it should be at a lower br where it would decimate
Better said, the top end of BRs should increase and, if that were to happen, the J-7D and associated variants should stay at 11.0. Ultimately, top level planes consume the J-7D. It can do well, and looking back at my footage, I had more 2-4 kill games than I realized, but it's still outcompeted by the F-16, F-14, MiG-29, etc - and in a very big way.
The j7e has double delta making it turn well and still maintain speed which the j7d doesn't have, another thing to note is the j7d doesn't have all aspects (I think china is the Only nation that doesn't have radar or all aspects at 11.0 and lower) and other migs at similar br and can 6 or more missiles (including mig23)

The biggest issue I have with this thing is, it’s a Mig 21 that can cook its engine when using the afterburner.
