    Some game modes that I didn't mention in the video that would be cool are team deathmatch, possibly capture the flag, historical matchmaking, scenario-based missions that are based on real battles, and a mix of 1v1s, 2vs2s, etc.

      I hope that if the leaks are true and subs come into the game they get a separate gamemode alongside the naval battles. I don't want to die to level 100 sub players' depth charges while I battle at an enemy often as far as 11km or more. And I also don't want to get bullied in a sub

      jigin need to change the machmaking system in order to get low q time. here is the plan: use the RANK system to machmake, and the BR to say how mach this viecle can spawn and how mach it cost in Respawn P. so you can play with 2-3 BR different, but the low BR will have 10 viecle, and the higher will have 2. this is way eazy to balance ane way eazy to machmake.

      There are so many things they could do to freshen up some of these modes, put helis in air sim. They've nerfed helis so bad all you can do is atgm, rocket runs are virtually pointless now in rb. However in the groundbattles in sim they'd do great. Dynamic campaign from the wt predecessor of birds of steel, make it coop. Then you could go thru that. They could do carrier battles where instead of tickets its whose destroys the enemy carrier first, with plenty of responsibility. So much they could do.

      Legit was gonna say, give us some silly stuff like CTF it may not make sense, but this is a game is does not have to and it would be interesting, do you go for light tank or heavy tank flag carrier, really would incentivize teamwork, thats really all you need for game modes, things that create interesting scenarios.

      @@Full-Auto_Edits Of course we won't get objective takes here but from the bits I've seen, it seems to have some vehicles ive never seen in WT. (prototypes of dubious provenance? Would need to watch more gameplay.) Based on seeing graphics in videos, it does seem to visually look pretty much on par with WT. But I'm no graphics expert so I would appreciate feedback/correction on that.
      The thing that seemed like the biggest red flag is the heavier shells being available for irl money. It could be I'm forgetting or misunderstanding how it works though. And WT has plenty of goodies you can buy with GE like camouflage and premium rank tanks.
      I've seen some players worried that if they don't have one too, the players that do will unfairly dominate them. Based on my admittedly unimpressive personal gameplay of ~3000 hours, I've had incredible sprees of victory in tech tree vehicles; but I've also regrettted getting some prems because they are just such colossal pieces of junk for actual pvp matches!
      Anyway I should learn more about WoT mechanics before forming a more concrete opinion

      I agree. Air PVE, especially above 7.3 is just unplayable. You spawn in with your stock WW2/early Cold War jet and your teammates just missile spam the entire match, often making you earn nothing because the game thinks that you were inactive. Heli PVE is boring af and the Ground PVE is similar to the air one. But instead of you just flying until you run out of ammo, you get spawncamped by the highest top-tier MBT bots while you can't even pen their front armor or even shoot. This is why I decides to rather suffer in Ground RB with planes and tanks and ignore helicopters as a whole

    I know it's not universally popular, but I would still love to see RB EC return. The one time I actually got to play it I had a blast. The huge maps and lack of player tags made it the perfect mix of PVPVE that really allowed players who wanted to fly bombers or ground attackers to enjoy the game properly.

    I have an idea for a mode.
    Total War;
    No spawn limits,long duration battles. Meaning removal of SL to spawn.
    Sea,land,air.
    Ship players are tasked with escorting convoys to the land on both sides. Coastal boats exist to flank and attack convoys directly while Bluewater exists to destroy enemy escorts/protect allowed air carriers.
    FOBs are set up to allow ground players to establish beach heads and attack key objectives(bridges,towns,supply depots).
    FOBs are built in a way that makes approaching them directly extremely dangerous for air support. And have AI/player driven SPAA/AT that respawns.
    Air is tasked with attacking said supply depots behind enemy lines,disruption of supply lines increases the response time of AI and causes players to have a 1s longer spawn per objective. Player rewards for CAS are reduced to SPAA level of rewards for engaging player aircraft.
    CAS gets a lot of changes. Primary goal shifts from engaging tanks to playing the objective meaning crippling enemy supply routes and slowing their spawn rate bt attacking key points for map control(i.e bridges)
    CAP becomes a proper role with properly balanced rewards. SPAA get the same rewards for killing planes as tanks.
    CAS rewards are rebalanced. You get more for objectives than you do tanks.
    Troop carriers get a bonus to cap speed and like AW can deploy various squads of flavor.
    CEV can retrieve damaged vehicles and pull them back to friendly lines to allow for both quicker and reduced spawn times. CEV also get bonuses for repairing friendly vehicles or structures.
    Armor in general's goal is to secure points and move along the map to the enemy HQ. If the enemy team loses their final cap point they are forced to withdraw to their end of the map one set of battle lines. Meaning the maps turn into a tug of war with opportunity to rebound through a team coming together to PTFO and gather resource nodes to ensure they have spawns. Rat tanks serve a purpose with forward recon and engaging CEV busy pulling destroyed tanks back or reparing/building resources nodes to hold.
    CEV can also create ammo dumps that CAS can attack if left undefended but are a place where Allied tanks(or if captured by the other team) can quickly rearm.

    War Thunder needs new gamemodes so badly that Heli PvE would work great as a combined ground/air PvE mode

      I think that could even be a bit balanced if you make it around objectives and have a point system for getting the more potent stuff. So yeah. Something that is crap will be extremely cheap. But a Maus will cost a fortune.
      Note, the cost of items would be balanced around how good they are, not their actual cost in the real world. Even if the best equipment often was the most expensive too. And besides. In real life some of the best equipment was actually that which was most reliable. So a T-34 or a Tiger II are great... when they work... In reality, both had some reliability issues. (The T-34 reliability issues had a lot to do with the shoddy production of USSR, and it could differ a lot depending on where the tank was build. Tiger II and a lot of other German tanks were on the other hand a bit overcomplicated. Though, both nations would have supplying issues. That is the nature of war. Pretty much every nation had some issue with logistics. Though it was the strong suit of America, to be sure, who had the benefit of having their factories far from the conflict zone too.)

    I don't think there is any passion left in Gaijin for War Thunder. They just milk the game with the lowest effort possible to keep the cash cows hooked. As Tankenstein said - gameplay got actually downgraded over the years with stuff like mixed battles in RB and abandonment of already existing game modes. I'm playing WT from 2012 (I still come back to play few matches from time to time, it's my "guilty pleasure" type of game) and it is rly mind blowing to me how stagnat the gameplay is.

      They still have fun events with many unique features, so I don't think the passion is really gone. I think it's a calculated decision, that they don't release anything too complex or different until the player demand is at its highest. This way they will be able to keep the game alive for longer - or that's what they are thinking probably.

      there was love only in closed betas and before, later they just milk everything what they can, do u remember how good was ground RB in beta ? no markers at all, awesome spawn system, no stupid like we got now, there was no need for 58853 P2W crews, its was so good to play like air rb where one crew was enough, like literally 2 spawns per vehicle should back and respawn points from SB so everyone have same amount of respawns and spawn points, if u did more kills etc than others its enough good reward, why u should have even more respawn points ???

      That's, how do i say this, its not a bad take, but its certainly far from good, Gaijin has done a lot for War Thunder (For good and bad), i wish there was a tank only RB mode, air already has it so why not tanks?, but to say they just milk the game is really disingenuous for realizing their mistake and actively making the game better (with a touch of bad like worsening RP and the accusation of SL decrease, though that was debunked)

    Could not agree more. With the content and vehicles we have now, I’d be happy to give up 2-3 updates worth of new vehicles just so we can have new game modes.
    TDM, capture the flag, expand world war mode, etc… give us something else to do besides Ground RB plz :,(

      Even randomized cap points that would switch every 3-5mins would be more fun than current Ground RB stalemode. They could copy BF's Rush mode or Enlisted cap mode where you need to cap 1-2 points to progress into the next it would make matches more linear but intense around those points.

    An aircraft game mode where you had a “strike” mission and had to attack a base with heavy AA, maybe better AI planes chasing you, etc. You would play in different maps each time; with some canyons you had to fly through and then you would have to fly up over a mountain and then back into a canyon to drop a bomb… Oh, is that copyright?

      It would be nice to be more useful in an attacker especially during a missile fest in a sub sonic attacker that can’t make it to the targets directly under the missile fur ball. Why can’t they put ground targets at the map edges too.

    World War should really just be a constant feature, maybe have a limit to the number of battles per day that a person can participate in, that'll give the 'historical matchmaking' crowd the opportunity to roleplay in various battles/engagements, whilst giving the game some more game modes. Have it run for like a week or two, followed by a reset and some prizes for the winning team. Maybe change out time-eras or battlefields etc. It's amazing we have multiple maps from the same fronts and conflicts, but Gaijin haven't really leveraged them in an interesting way to break up the monotony of GroundRB/AIrRB.

    Would like to see a 1vs1, 2vs2 and 4vs4, historical battles are also fun and they should make spawns more random and more objectives spread out so people dont just spawn and shoot 10 missils…

    they tried the battlefield rush type mode once but havent mentioned it since, ground enduring confrontation with the teams being split into squads of 5 players across a map with sort of their own objectives would be sick
    and PVE modes that take the game into a more "historical massive battle scenarios" experience, since balance doesnt matter it could be actually done

    I was kind of excited about the combined arms modes you talked about. Though, I agree, it would be technically difficult, it would be fun to have air, land and sea in the same game. I'd also like to see a mode where a player could start as either close air or on the ground, and not just starting as ground and building up points to get to the air. On map artillery would be interesting too. I also thin the points system needs to be overhauled, and the points values increase for the modes where you can earn vehicles. I loved the U-boat play. It was much better than the other game who shall not be named...

    Brilliant points throughout the whole video except in my opinion to the time limited grinds for unique vehicles. I hate that these used to happen so often, I missed so many vehicles and felt genuine stress trying to play enough to do crafting events etc. I think less of the time limited events are better for a majority of people.

    I personally think that ground is perfect right now but the maps… war thunder needs bigger maps so many tanks need long ranges to over come weak spots and missiles tanks…. This just doesn’t work with tiny maps that force everyone to push and die so like that one dessert map they ruined which was perfect they need more like it.

      it's because players have a brain dead take and playstyle of wanting to brawl everything and anything at less then 100m because it's "boring" to camp and snipe in a game that is more based on realism where you use vehicles that weren't made to clear cities by themselves.
      they all bitch and moan at the idea that an abrams just because it is capable of going fast should be brawling in cities instead of it's intended purpose to use ridgelines with it's strong turret

      @@toxicdragon2789no, the problem is that they either make a city map, or a map with a huge killzone where you cant push into the open, out of all current maps, 99% of all huge maps are badly designes and punish people that try to play the objective

    As a person who plays WoWs mostly because the Operations mode, I would LOVE to see an equivalent in WT, and not only for ships, but for tanks and air, including helis. The game don't need to be PvP all the time. I love attackers and naval aviation more than "standard" fighters, and playing with them never really was That great, even back when they could "win by themselfs". A dedicated SEAD mode, in PvE, with objectives, SAMs, enemy radar, AWACS, etc, not only Is possible, but also would be The ideal scenario for those planes and helicopters.
    Gaijin Can do it, I made it on the CDK many years ago as a test, we got all the assets for that to happen, we just need the will of the people to get together and properly ask Gaijin for those modes for each vehicle type. As for waiting time before matches, I believe we are Beyond the point where that was a Real concern, the game is bigger than ever. And as for the mission I did before, never published because my pc fried and I lost interest in finishing it again, but with those new maps, gonna try to work on that again if I have the patience, but I'm sure there are some exemples from the community in Gaijin website.

    thats is what I want on warthunder really, more game mods. I mostly come back to warthunder only when there is a event or a good battle pass other then that I dont really play warthunder.

    I would love a "Rush" type gamemode like in Battlefield.
    Have a Large Map with Sectors.
    One Team defends the Sector the other attacks it.
    To advance a Sector one has to capture 2 or 3 Points.

    I think the main problem is that Gaijin thinks that if they put more game mods in the game, that there will be a split in player base.
    What I mean is, for example, let’s say they bring ground only mode, no plane no helis only tanks. Many people will switch to tank mode only because many people are sick of revenge CAS etc. What does this mean for Gaijin? Less people grind planes therefore the grind gets shorter (don’t forget that Gaijin is doing it’s ‘’best’’ to make the grind longer and harder) and people might/will buy fewer premium aircrafts which in long term will be less money for the snail.
    Also, what Tankenstein said is that there is no ‘love’ in to high BR matches. The game/maps were made for WW2 tanks as this was also the start. No improvements for higher BR tank matches, nor for planes. Heck see Naval. I really do like naval and play it from time to time (yes, I am one of few), did naval get any ‘improvement’ in the last x years? Hell no.
    Gaijin is doing the typical thing what also other companies do. As long as it works (irrelevant of how bad it is) and as long as people do/play/use it, there will be no changes. The best example is still the review bombing. People did complain for so long because the economy is bad but did gaijin care? Nop. ONLY after the review bombing started and the company had a negative impact (money and marketing wise) changes started happening. Sadly, this I think will also go on. Unless Gaijin takes a ‘hit’ no major changes..
    Why give the consumer something nice for once if what we give now is ‘’enough’’

    We need more types of missions too, like GRB for example where one team has unlimited spawns, and another team has a set amount of spawns. The unlimited team must assault and advance the frontline and capture the base of the limited team within a certain time limit. And the limited spawn team needs to hold the line and defend the capture point from a heavily defended position. With each team having certain things restricted if necessary for balance reasons.
    And ARB where one team might need to escort bomber formations (or Spy Planes in top tier) and multiple runways with mandatory random spawns to break up the chaotic furballs. Also aerial refuelling planes so that people don't need to go back to base jsut to refuel, these would also be great targets for enemies because it eliminates the aerial refuelling capability of the other team. Also multiple spawns for different aircraft so that people don't play too passively.
    Also combined arms warfare in a massive theater of battle would be amazing, Naval forces + Air support and tanks all fighting over random points and making progress against each other on a huge EC map would be so cool. It'd also give Naval fighters an actual use and advantage for landing on a carrier.
    These are just two examples off the top of my head that would be cool. War Thunder has so much potential to be amazing, but instead of adding more things for us to do, Gaijin poorly powercreep everything (F-15E as a prime example) and leave us with the exact same missions we've had since day one.

    I would love to see a Sead mission mode where you will start against AAs which have only guns, to AAs like the Phantsir or Tor-m1 with each AA presenting new challenges like flying low or having a small window to deploy your weaponry while dogging their missiles.

    I completed the World War mode and got the M60 AMBT, and the special title with the ( 🌎 Veteran of the Season "Road to the West" ) people ask me from time to time where I got that title. I love it because I put the work in and got it and love it because how ridiculously long the title is lol

    The problem with other game modes is gaijin needs to get rid of their bad spawn system. One death leavers are a direct result of this. A battlefield like conquest mode would be great but it doesn't work with the bad spawn system we currently have. Map changes could be done like other super popular games that change the maps constantly. Gaijin just shrinks maps. Super large maps could work with a forward spawn mechanic to keep the fights going past the first death.

    I would love to see more PvE gamemodes in WT. there are days when I want to grind, but I just don't have the energy or temperament to do PvP. I'd love to see some missions where you could take out a bomber and just go on a bombing campaign to hit an airfield or something too. imagine being able to go out in a B-29 to hit a train yard, a B-52 in the future hammering an airstrip, or with the new F-117 hitting radar sites to clear the way of SAMs for other players.
    if I got to add a game mode to WT, I'd want to add in a RB wave defender mode like they already have, but you can spawn in as an aircraft to provide CAS. it'd be great if I could use my A-10s and the F-15E to help support a team on the ground of players and bots. and that one would be even easier since it'd just be them recycling the wave defender mission already in the game but now at RB and with CAS spawning in. the maps are already made, the mode is already made, now all you have to do is set up spawn points for jets.

    as few other commenters pointed out, AB/RB/SB arent gamemodes, just difficulty settings like in minecraft easy/medium/hard/hardcore. Nothing about the world changes, but the difficulty.
    What actual gamemodes are Domination, Battle, Conquest (for Air/Ground AB/RB/SB), then you've got Assault mode for AB/RB, then a seperate gamemoude could be considered PvE Helicopter battles, available only in AB.

    AB, RB and SB are not different game modes, these are only different option sets for the game modes Air, Ground and Naval. Aside from the pve modes, the only somewhat different game mode we have, is ec for Air SB.
    The thing is, and I tried to tell people that for years by now, the majority of issues we have, especially in top tier, can be fixed by introducing game modes, that can accommodate all these new and shiny vehicles. They could even make them in a way, that would make something like a stationary AA and anti-radiation missiles a viable addition. But they simply don't, probably because they don't have any competences in that field...

    For tanks I would really love a mode that has just a huge bunch of players spread out of a massive area, with objectives that change as the battle progresses.
    I feel like the maps in general can be a bit too small and then can feel very repetitive after a while.

      I used to play a game that I think was called armoured warfare, I think it was mostly PVE. Anyway it had objectives that you had to move to, not just 1 or 3 capture points.

    My problem with alternate game modes is they often don't give RP, so there's no progression.
    Sea EC was one that did have RP, and was somewhat fun, but for months and months they ran it where the server would just up and die in the middle of the game, and they never fixed it.
    I think they've got comfortable with the money they're making on AB and RB so they don't really bother pushing for good working alternates.

    I've only played for 3 or so years now. I play a mix of modes, but mostly switch between GAB and GSB. For some reason I love SB but can hardly stand GRB.
    Once I got a bit tired of planes I started mixing in naval battle both boat and ship vessels. Naval is tough and i would only recommend it for more experienced players looking to mix it up.
    If you're a newer player and want to try something new, I genuinely enjoy assault PvE mode like he mentions in video.
    Just don't sit in the middle of town and wait until 3 waves of heavy tanks are in the objective to start fighting. You should be leaving the blue square to confront the enemy way sooner

    I have been screaming from the rooftops for a ground ec mode for a while. Big maps and unlimited spawns till ticket bleed would DO ALOT to improve high br ground games by preventing teams from falling apart in 2 mins

    Thank you! Gaijin needs their feet held to the fire by the community so we can get more game modes. Enduring confrontation style game modes HAVE to come to air rb and ground rb.
    So many of the problems that plague air rb and ground rb stem from not having longer battles and unlimited spawns.

    I could see a "frontlines" mode that has capture points move after a full cap working.
    Aside that, I could see generative elements in maps. That could also be super annoying, tho, so I don't see it being exactly likely or even a good idea.

    does anyone remember galactic conquest from the old star wars battlefront 2 game? a game mode like that in warthunder for a ground only mode and air only mode would be awesome. there could be a globe with individual countries that players can fight over. when you first open the game mode you could choose one of 2 sides to fight on until the planet has been taken over, at which point it would be reset for you to choose a side to fight on again. the players of the winning side could win 1million SL each as a reward as the battle over the planet could take a long time and wouldnt ruin the economy. (a minimum of 50 battles would have to be played to be eligible to win the 1m SL prize to stop people just picking a side, not playing and waiting for it to end).

    I think a bomber escort/intercept game mode pvp could be super neat. One team half bomber or 3/4ths bombers depending on team size, then make the bombers actually survivable to even it out, and the other team just full interceptors.
    Missions like this with early jets would also be super sick but very different than WWII stuff.

    My opinion on the Campaign mode is when they added the new high def models for ground forces in Air matches it broke the campaign. As it relied on old 1 hit kill bomb mechanics. The new DMs take much more than just 1 bomb to kill

    a mode where half of 1 team are bombers with the rest of that team being fighters/interceptors and other team being fighters
    buff bomber gunner ai, increase bombers health so you wont die when a couple 7.62 rounds scrape you, remove the stupid tail ripping in half or significantly reduce its likelyhood, have a 30 sec invulnerability on match start and respawn, increase rp payout for ai targets

    I personally didn't love the submarine mode but i appreciate the creativity.
    That's what makes it so galling. Gaijin CAN and HAVE demonstrated many times they can come up with FUN modes that players love. Taking them away is so frustrating because it suggests an absence of logic

    I’m guessing they don’t want to “split the player base” so… the question is, if this is real since they say it every time they don’t want to budge on decompression. How do we get newer players into the game, when we reach the player count where they would be confident to split the player base. How can war thunder attract new players to a competitive high skill game as a free to play player. Because most people I imagine wouldn’t drop money on a game they don’t know or suck at. If we can think of solutions maybe we can nudge the snail to move another centimeter in the right direction

    Don’t sleep on enduring confrontation. It has soooooo much potential for air, land, and sea vehicles. The least they could do is allow us to use helicopters in air sim battles.
    Unfortunately, I don’t think enduring confrontation will ever be updated unless it’s offered to air rb players.

    I always wanted a "historical game mode" and an "ultra realism game mode"
    Yes, i knows that they would be almost "meme" modes worth only for the 1 April.
    - historical would be so unbalanced that they would have to make you spawn in a random tank, or everyone would always choose the most broken one.
    - ultra realism would be super annoying.
    Transmissions and engines suddenly fails, you get to manage fuel, some shells can be defective or the gun can jam.

    I'm just waiting for Gaijin to start a whole new aircraft game mode for 1915-1935 with all new tech trees. I have mentioned this a few times and it's as if people can't read. _*I know WWI aircraft aren't competitive with WWII aircraft. Adding 1915-1935 aircraft to the current game mode or shoehorning them into the current tech trees OBVIOUSLY wouldn't work.

    one thing i can't wrap my head around is how they allocate development, how come there are people every april and for events that have made a plethora of unique gamemodes but we see absolutely nothing for the base game. personally, if there were more game modes, like we've seen before, i would spend more time playing, sometimes i'm not even in the mood for switching BR, nation OR land, air and sea, i just don't wanna play the game how it is for the day anymore. i don't grind events, but playing a bit of normal and a bit of the special mode definitely ups my over all playing experience by a ton

    First thing I think they should do is create a smaller team gamemode, and no, I don't mean something you can hardly find and only gives you a chance to join smaller matches, I mean an actual gamemode you can queue for and wait however long to find a match.
    Then they should bring back ranked tournaments and preferably keep it permanently.

    you can look at top tier air once and see how clearly undeveloped the game modes are and the amount of players in 1 match is insane even with 12v12 matches (that i havent even seen once in a week). this is honestly depressing because it shows how gaijin just DO NOT know what to do with their game nor do they even care

    I think I only ever once got into an Enduring Confrontation, and I loved it, but it just doesn't exist any more.

    We're at the point where even the game modes we have need to be reworked because they start struggling at late WW2 era vehicles in Ground and Air RB. Air being the worst since we really should have gotten a wave based respawn system when we got to superprops and jets making bombers irrelevant. For Ground we need objectives for planes so they're not completely focused on killing players to.

    I would love to see a game mode where you take off from an airfield and have to intercept a bomber before he destroys the target point but he also has air support ahead of him that are tryna take you down so a intercepter type game mode they can launch fox3’s at you and you can only and also know how to defend against your own

    Honestly if Gaijin released better tools for custom missions and allowed you to earn rp and sl from playing custom missions the game would be one of the best of the genre. Hell, thats why arma 3 is still super popular in the milsim community, the vast majority of the experience is driven by the players.

    couldn't agree more. Air RB is in complete shambles (at least top tier 10.0+) too many players on each team with too many missiles flying about especially BVR ones, the gameplay is so stale and games easily end in 5mins from 12.7-13.7br. Give us SEAD missions, more modern ai aircraft to intercept and destroy, how about historical missions that actually took place in real life surely they can make some awesome map missions that involve S.O.R.T.I.E.S from Vietnam, cold war, gulf war era etc that would be the shit! And where the hell are naval maps at top tier? their is next to none currently but there needs to be more with naval ships as targets to destroy and give us multiple spawn points too. imagine being able to spawn, take-off and land to re-arm from an aircraft carrier with planes such as the F14, Harriers, F4 Phantoms etc that would be so cool!

    The whole reason I stopped playing War Thunder was because it felt so stagnant. The fun kind of gets sucked out when you get the same 2 maps over and over again out of a map pool of 20 or more with the variants, but you're playing Abandoned Factory for the 80th time that day. There is 0 excuse for Gaijin to not get more creative with this stuff cause it's even affecting their other games like Enlisted. There's so much stuff they could do that would inject a whole lot of new fun into the game but they won't work on it cause they either have a disdain for their playerbase or only look at it as a money printer.

    I've been preaching about more gameplay/game-modes for years! Honestly, my conclusion to why they don't keep, or add any new modes, is because of money. And no, im not talking about the cost to implement these modes and run them in the game, im talking about them earning money off of WT. For years, they've been making the game more grindier and frustrating to play, with the sole purpose of making players to want to spend money, and pay for convenience. Ya'll can say otherwise as much as ya'll might want, but Gaijun has been caught many times trying to monkey with BR's, SL, and RP gains for the sole purpose of making it harder for players to grind through the game. All these quality of life changes we've been getting over the last year or two, is all because we, as the WT playerbase, got after gaijun to the point where they had to back track. These quality of life improvements are nice, but in the grand scheme of things are all actually underwhelming, only because these "quality of life changes" are drip fed to us so that we don't get up in arms against them again.
    They will not add any new modes, or keep any of the new and fun april fools modes, because it won't make them money. PVE won't make them money, fun content won't make them money, and fixing the game and addressing all the compounding issues will not make them money. Continuously pumping out these "major updates" with all these new top tier, premium, and squadron vehicles, all with new and fancy gimmicks attached to them will certainly make them money, and alot of it.
    All I care about is them actually fixing game issues like BR compression and horrible map designs, giving bombers some actual and supported gameplay, adding new game-modes like some listed by Tankenstein, ect.
    I can go on even more, but its just beating a dead horse into atoms at this point. I want them to add some more PVE modes, so break up the monotony of the stale PVP modes. Give us something to do asides these low effort, and short lived events.

    What I would like to see would be an ongoing era scalable Co-Op PvE Enduring Confrontation Style Mode. Make it thrice the size for modern vehicles. In later eras bring in all types of activities. Recon, Anti-AA, Wild Weasel, Anti-Shipping even Strategic Bombing on sponge areas. Add scripted events. Finally a reason to add the B-52, Hustler, Vulcan and B-1! I'd buy them in an instant. But I guess the fools at Gaijin don't even have the slightest clue (or capability).

    World War mode WAS SO FUN, for once you had actual objectives to do. Submarine test made me grind naval so i could then maybe play subs in naval EC. HOW COOL WOULD SUBS BE IN EC!? Not even just playing them but go sub hunting with destroyers and aircraft. Like just give us anything at this point the stupid A,B,C and bombing target markers are in my dreams and have been for years.

    I just want Ground RB to be locked to gunsight and 1st person like Sim, but it in RB style so I can see team mates and it be for all tiers. As well as separate WW2 tanks and Cold War tanks, its just a pain to grind through 6-8BR most of the time. and better rewards for RB, the rewards are a joke compared to other modes

    Lo que necesita war thunder:
    1- Mas modos de juegos, tal cual decis en el video
    2- Mezclar las naciones en batallas, de esta forma no veria +1 en mis 80% de partidas. Comprobado!
    3- Volver a abrir el servidor chino, asi los esos hackers se matan entre ellos.
    4- Abrir un servidor en sudamerica..vamos hasta wot lo hizo jaja.
    5- Mejora visual de en los mapas (Berlin por ejemplo) y que los ULQ inviertan un poco de dinero en su PC.
    6- Arreglar el BR entre 7.3 / 7.7 y 8.7 / 9.0...Esta todo roto y mal balanceado.
    7- Rehacer el modo naval con mapas mas estrategicos y que no sea un permaclick como hoy en dia.
    8- En terrestres tener al menos 4 lugares de reaparicion y asi se evitaria un poco el spawn camping.
    9- En terrestres al aterrizar con el avion poder cambiar la carga. Ejemplo: tenias 2 de 500 y queres una de 1000 puedas hacerlo.
    10- Mejor rotacion y cantidad de mapas. Estoy cansado de jugar los mismo 5 todo el dia.

    Really - all of the events are for information gathering for features and modes - such as battle for the Atlantic covering not just submarines but effectively a convoy mode. And simply put - these things can take a lot of time so they may announce so we know it's coming, but take longer than even they think to reach a testable stage.
    Also - they backed off on those events cause A: plenty of people were annoyed at crafting events being too hard even for low tier rewards, and where we now have issues again in work vs reward on the new way they scaled the damn points, and B: not sure how many times I have to say this over the last several years - the amount of material especially in certain branches is getting thin. Unless people are willing to shut up about purely paper planes being added. Otherwise - your getting copy paste variants only in the next say year or two for the US outside of the modern jet age. Now personally - I'd prefer that every so often they recycle events, so that people who failed to get it or previously weren't around get a chance - kinda like with the battle pass now adding some rng old ones, as well as to force the in game market to be more competitive and less freaking absurd - but then again we already have people whining that not everything is new in BP and about copy-paste planes so that likely isn't happening.

    lets be honest, this is just a result of "enshittification"
    Gaijin used to have to fight for its survival back when Wargaming was at its peak, it was forced to reinvent to beat the competition, but now that War Thunder doesn't really have any more competitors, it feels no incentive to devote time and energy to riskier changes, it KNOWS it has the entire market and very passionate fans that will take the abuse- they can do whatever they want with their consumers, much like Nintendo or even Wargaming themselves...until a limit is reached and players break. They leave and management is left scratching their heads wondering why players grew tired of shoveling all of their money at a company that cared about them less and less.

    Sim needs to be revamped, recon mechanics need to be looked at, and we definitely, positively, absolutely need more game modes. Upgrade graphics do nothing to increase fun. All it does is put prettier flowers on the chain that we are dragging behind us.

    I wanna see enduring confrontation for RB and planetside like mechanic that capturing a big map that benefits RP and Lions which every nation have part and capturing the locations. Game modes need to come. I like the graphical changes but I thing just 20% will turn that RTX ON
