Honestly, I can't believe I missed G4, lol. What a great tequila and one of my favorites. I haven't tried Tapatio, yet, and its on my list. I have unopened bottle of Mijenta. That one is next. Cascahuin is another great tequila that is locally available for me. And for over $100 ArteNom 1146 anejo is great choice. All of those tequila are available locally for me except Fortaleza, that is impossible to find now. I have one bottle and I feel bad to crack the cap, because I know I won't be able to buy another one. So I just keep it for a special occasion. Cheers
Lalo is awesome tequila my gpa name was ladisloa and we walked in liquor store on his first b day passed away and seen that bottle bought it and it was great tequila
I just sold our last bottle in stock yesterday, and I’m not gonna lie, I bought almost half of them we had myself. I love it as a sipper and it’s pretty reasonably priced, especially when you realize how many crappy tequilas are selling for more.
Ocho is whack. Fortaleza (if you can find it), G4, and Siete Leguas are way better. Their plantations and distilleries are Mexican-owned and operated, and they use traditional methods to produce their tequilas.
I'm not quite at Tequilas yet, I'm just starting to appreciate Bourbon/Whiskey. Just got myself a bottle of Eagle Rare the other day for $39.99. Pretty tasty stuff and smooth also
My dad is born and raised Jalisco Mexico, he’s been drinking Hera dura and gran centenario my whole life. He laughed at me once when I brought patron to a party.
Gran Centenario is a really good sipper for the price. I was actually surprised to see one of these uncouth liquor store bros make the recommendation. Their Reposado is great for mixing too.
That centenario anejo is so good. Smooth as hell with just a hint of spice. But oh boy, the centenario reposado will make me barf like 50% of the time. I'm that guy who sips single malt Scotch with a cigar one weekend and chugs Jack Daniels at a college party the next
I snuck into the liquor cabinet as a younger gentleman and tequila was what I found, Jose Cuervo. After that night I never want to have tequila again, unless it’s heavily diluted in a mixed drink
Herradura is good, but if ur gonna sip, go for the anejo or ultra anejo cristalino. If you want something nicer, go for casa dragoness repo or joven if you want something soft but not sweet. Komos is good for a sweeter tequila. And casa noble is a good middle shelf and is pretty strong. The anejo especially has lots of citrus notes. Fortaleza is also good if you can find it. Pretty hard to come across.
@zacherycampbell7296 that's entirely incorrect. They have plenty of flavor. It's just a bit smoother. Cristalino is a majority of what people in Mexico drink. They definitely don't lack flavor. Gran cormino(kevin harts) is very peppry and toffee noted repo cristalino. All that happens in the process is it is processed thru activated charcoal to remove the yellowish colors and enhance the floral and fruity notes.
@saabstory8249 not really an insult. It's like a splash of agave nectar. Herraduras is already more of a caramel honey and almondy flavor so it just adds a bit of sweetness to it for those who enjoy that.
Caballitos Blanco is my go to sipping tequila currently. If I want age, I'll get a G4 Repo, or maybe a Siete Leguas Añejo. For shots, Cimarron Blanco is perfect in my opinion.
The grand centenario is good, but if you want an overall good & affordable brand look for arrette & tapatio. If you want s tier, go for fortaleza & G4. If you want A tier go ocho & cascahuin.
Well if you have a nice añejo you can mix it with some sweet vermouth and bitters with a garnish of orange to make a distrito federal, definitely worth a try for Manhattan fans
I would totally go a Cristalino - lots of anejo flavor with all of the rough edges smoothed off. Currently drinking the 1800 but there are many other brands in this style.
@@eumeliovazquezjr1630 Dude. I live in Australia. It is the only Cristalino tequila in my local store. So suggest a couple of brands you love in the Cristalino style to inspire me. Don’t just tell me you love good tequila. Show me you love good tequila.

Finally some good tequilas
Add tapatio and g4 to this list and it’s pretty much perfect

Sounds good to me.
Got any Blanton's?
Lol....!!😂😂
In this case, replace that with fortaleza.
😂😂😂
Underated comment
Yes for 90
If you're doing anejo, do Cazcanes or if on a budget, Arette. Both are additive free and blows something like Casamigos out of the water.
Yup 100% or El Tesoro.
Yeah but they recommended garbage instead

Tequila ocho is really good!!! I’ve only tried the blanco, but so far it’s the best I’ve had (at that 50 dollar price point at least)
Rep is amazing. I have an anejo I haven’t opened yet. But tequila ocho is by far my favorite and is so underrated

Hey, I could (and have) sip Herradura Silver all day. To each their own ofc
Holy God the cristilanio is horrible. They add agave sugar into it. An absolute insult to tequila
Why drink a cristalino? They age it then take the flavor out.
