Thank you for doing the work we would never do!
Our pleasure!
ive tried every vodka in finlands alcohol store >D
we? you are not the same i buy the cheapest each day
@@Pvt.Parts13Considering how Finnish alcohol prices are, that must've been really damn expensive
@@RandomGuy37 i lied, most expensive bottle ive bought was 68e belvedere and it was horrible tasting best one was stoli gold i really liked it, stumbrass and gustav were allso good. we allso have this thing called "pontikka" its good too ;)
Now put the seagrims in a blind test with more expensive vodkas (Grey Goose, Titos, Kettle One, etc). I'm curious how it fares.
There’s very little between good and bad vodka and that very little doesn’t have anything to do with spending money on branding. Abundance of grain is the key so you can have a better selection of grain that requires less cycles of distillation.
I do like that you don’t let each others perspective change your rating. Feels more real that way. Appreciate the hard work.
Are we just not going to mention that they liked Skol? They've been talking shit on Skol for a long time and when they finally taste it blind they like it.
You two really compliment eachother. Channel has a great future for many years to come, if you two stay together. Sometimes all you need is a solid partner. ✌️
The worst cheap vodka I've ever had was Dubra... That shit literally tastes like a skunk sprayed in your drink! Absolutely disgusting but I did finish the bottle off lol
Mr. Boston for me. When I was a freshman in college over ten years ago, it was the absolute cheapest alcohol you could buy, about $10 for a handle. It tasted like straight rubbing alcohol, but it definitely did the job. Years later, I went to a hibachi place and the chefs were using it as a cheap alcohol to clean the grills lol. Can barely stomach straight vodka nowadays after too many times drinking that wretched liquid.
Hanger 1 is the absolute worst I have ever had and it is sold as a premium vodka somehow. Elit is my favorite when I can find it.
Oh please do a cheapest whiskey or bourbon version!!
I have Stockholm syndromed myself into liking Popov as a cheap vodka just because it's not quite as terrible as a couple of the others I tried before it.
Kamchatka better
@@bedplanks1641 Do you see torpedo boats?
vladimir better than popov and only like $1 more lol
My new mission in life - find a vodka that tastes worse than Popov.
aristocrat
@@alvinmason758crown russe, or Vladimir
@@thomasshanks6735 I agree with Crown Russe being worse than Popov, it says vodka with natural flavor right on the bottle. I don't mind McCormick though.
crystal palace, takka, burnetts.. all horrible
Popov is what my friends and I used to get back in college…glad to know it was literally the worst option 😂
i saw a different vid from a professional reviewer and he ranked it as #1 surprisingly
@@xvnwsame
its almsot like taste is subjective and what some find disgusting others find great...@@xvnw
@@st3gosaurus just providing an alternative opinion. I’ve never tried popov but hate vodka in general
My favorite alcoholics !😍
Platinum 7 x can't be beaten, i LOVED it !!!😂
Y’all should do more of these with whiskey, rum, etc!
For science! Almost expecting to see a health bar meter at the top. :D
The “but is it handmade?” While shopping had me rolling! 😂
You need to do all the main categories like this.
I left a comment repping Seagram's vodka a few months ago, glad to finally be validated!
When you said “this sucks” on the third one I busted out laughing.
I'm glad yall gave Skor the respect it deserves. My favorite vodka for smuggling into movie theaters and mixing into a blue icee.
Fantastic review guys! Maybe rum next?
I think it'd be cool for you to do a taste test 'guide'. Like, you called some of these "clean", "flabby", etc. It'd be interesting to know what those mean, and how to evaluate alcohols by taste
Good video!! In another one could you try the 10 most expensive vodkas?
Seagrams Extra Smooth is BANGER. Gladly take it over Titos literally any day
Not sure what video to pick to say this but you guys feel more Scandinavian (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Island) than the regular American tubers I see. Makes me want to have a drink with ya'.... Skål! (Yeah, reason is that I love taste and experience different things).
Popov is literally one of my favorite vodkas lol
Ya'll are cute , fun , and entertaining . Thanks for all the hard work . Cheers !!!
Invalid. No Mr Boston.
this was great! i’d love to see a blind test of the 10 cheapest tequilas you can find 😂 now that would REALLY be entertaining
No Taaka! Heresy
Just realized I used to go to this liquor store every Friday after my last lecture when I was at UF.
I knew as soon as he said the next store had a shoddy selection they were at their own place haha
veri intenditori con le nastro azzurro, i love you guys even more
That was a great vodka taste test guys. I was thinking one of you wouldn’t make it to the 10th drink. Nice Job 👍🏼 - mike… Sunday Dec 10, 2023 8:35pm Pacific Time. (Northern California)
this was great guys 😂
gotta bring these back
I'd love to see you guys do something like a "liquor of the world" episode. Would be hilarious.
I got nauseous just by looking at the thumbnail, thx for reminding me why I got off the hard stuff!
This is funny because Karkov is my favorite cheap vodka. I like it better than Smirnoff, but it scored really low here! I think it has a sweet note. Will have to try Seagram's.
Their gin is surprisingly good for dirt cheap
Ukrainian vodka is amazing value. Try khor or hilbny dar.
@@hamcheeselettucemayosandwichTried Nemiroff one time. Probably one of if not the smoothest vodka I've ever tasted
Love the Billy bear can.
love the grateful dead mural
Fris is my go to cheap Vodka for mixing.
I'm glad they tested Skol first. It's one of my favorite vodkas and it shows that when you don't collect your opinion from whatever your favorite internet celebrity says, you get a completely different result.
You should add the Costco and Trader Joe's ones to this. I like the cheapest American Kirkland brand one at Costco for mixing and making limoncello. $19 for a 1.75 liter bottle, tax included (20% plus $8 per bottle) make it cheaper than most of the ones you tried, and it's ok. Cheers!!
Citrus/cleaning supplies flavor is usually in the “heads” coming off the still, and smoky/wet dog/wet basement flavor is the “Tails” of the spirit run. The cheaper stuff has these things the more pricy stuff would have cut out of the final product
Was really hoping to see Kamchatka vodka on this list!
That was my buddy and I’s go to for years.. ahh.. being that underage/young and not realizing how truly bad it was
Same, I don’t know how many screwdrivers I forced down when i was younger just trying to get a buzz.
Was hoping to see the lsb's try Crystal Palace
My favorite cheap vodka is Buddy's, I wonder how it compares, also a watered down everclear too.
You should do bourbons next
Barton is the cheapest near me at $9.99 a handle. I'm glad to see it score as high as it did.
Seagram’s has an all around almost mid-level product line, and if you’re mixing it for drinks you can’t go wrong. Especially with a 7&7 and lime! Yeah, I’m old. LOL
I very much enjoyed this taste testing and I’m really glad that I didn’t have to participate. 😂🍻
Should have mixed a repeat in there to see if you scored it the same both times.
I like these guys.
Please do more longer videos 🙏
The Platinum was a shocker to me! That's the number 1 selling vodka at my shop 😬
Many alcoholics shop at your store. Haha
You got my like and subscribe with number 8. No sooner than I had thought "it sounds like my ex-wife" then you said "kinda like your ex"
Keep up the good work!
McCormick was my go to for a year😂 4.50 for a pint in the ski town I was living in
That classic club is the shit
You boys are doing the Lord's work.
great video, Just wish you had included Skyy. That is the cheapest one I will buy.
no Taaka?? That was my go to when I was drinking heavily..Glad im over that.
popov is a legend, havent watched video yet.
Rubinoff was THE cheap brand where i grew up
Daammmn bankers club was our favorite cheap vodka!
i see a few of my mortal enemies from my youth in there
Someone bought me a handle of Platinum as a “gift” one time. My wife used it to make hand sanitizer during Covid. It would have ended up going down the drain otherwise
At one time Smirnoff and seagrams were about your only choices for vodka in the USA.
Should have done it on an empty stomach
awesome man sometime you should come to canada try the vodkas here we have different cheap ones look up alberta pure for example
Can you do a rubbing alcohol taste test next?
It's interesting the vodkas got worse as it went. Would think they would be desensitized by the third one. Would be interesting to see how they think of a mid or top shelf after all this bottom shelf stuff to see if they noticed.
Its time to set that bar high fellas! Cheapest lineup series: Tequila, Gin, Irish, Scotch, Con/Armagnac, Bourbon/American Whiskey, Rye, Irish....
Damn I drink a 5th of Popov a day 😂
Okey dokey alkie
Upgrade to Seagrams
Popov was the second vodka I ever tried
Y’all could be like cold ones if you up the editing
Do MD 2020, Cisco, Boones, T-bird, Wild Irish Rose, Nightrain, Buckfast Tonic!
I keep hearing people praise Platinum 7x, but I had the same reaction they did. The stuff is nasty.
Guessing Tower didn't make the cut on price, but it's like 40% cheaper than Tito's and more or less the exact same thing. Highly recommend to those who don't normally shop at TW but find themselves in one looking for a budget vodka.
This is what I imagined in your Cheap Liquors video when you said that vodka should be odorless and flavorless so you shouldn't really go for anything expensive. eeeaaaahhhh that never goes the way it sounds. 😂
Tower vodka on ironically, halfway decent
Taste only matters if you’re drinking neat or rocks. For cocktails, classic club will work.
Please test Vodka from Vietnam!!!
What is your guys opinion on kettle one vodka
At my Total, the handle of Bartons is $8.99. Cheapest 1.75 of 80 proof anything in the store. Hard to beat that, especially as a mixer. I don't hate it straight, either.
That's cheaper than paint thinner
Fris is a fantastic vodka!
Gins of Florida!
you can find classic club or platnum 7x distilled for around 10-12.99, absolutely cheap but they really are not that bad, at all.
In Iowa, where I live, we have our own cheap AF vodka. Hawkeye Vodka. Every single one of these would absolutely destroy Hawkeye. It's 80 proof just like these, but with the harshness of Everclear and the taste of kerosene.
Hawkeye equaled dying from alcohol poisoning in a cornfield 😂
One of you homebrew? Been doing it 15 years, was a big fan of the old brewing tv crew
Bro rate the most expensive ones
Try iowas Hawkeye vodka it’s good with mixers for a punch but for the love of all that is sane don’t drink it straight unless you want throat cancer
Popov is my favorite vodka.
2006, Karkov 5th for $5.79, mother and daughter 304 team had a line of guys out the front door suckin em off in Gibson City...
Thoughts on Nikolai vodka?
Great video I recommend having a 5-6sec pan over the bottle so we can see it better (also gives you video more time) but overall great video I recommend doing cream liquors next time
no Pinnacle 😭
If you can find it. Try out Vladimir Vodka. It's surprisingly good.
Skol and povpov is what all the homeless people drink where i live you see empty bottles of that left everywhere they need to pick there stuff up at least lol
Fris is ok, our #1 seller is Recipe 21 you probably don't have that there, it costs about 80 cents more than most of these
You dont know pain unless you've had Crown Ruesse.
Back when I was in college, the cheapest vodka you could buy was called Virginia Vodka. Man, I went through a LOT of Virginia Vodka! I think it was $2 or $3 a fifth!
