65 mph cruise, I like to read the name on the water towers. Thats the spirit! I flew an experimental ultralight (Germany) with a 38 hp Hirth engine, made for snowmobiles, designed by a factory owner for lawn chairs. And I'm 6'3", 200 lbs. Every takeoff was an adventure and I'm not kidding! The thing is, don't look at the performance data, but enjoy what the thing was constucted for can do.

Automatic adjusting pitch props have been on boats too. One was called a torque shift prop.

A 65mph Piet. @ a Thousand feet..... sound's like he is flying I.F.R. 🤔......... I-95 to I-70 west,.. I-4 north,..... yep that's IT !😁 COOL.

@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel piet. I have ideas about other builds eventually, but I've seen completed builds or older piets go on barnstormers for chump change, so if I can save and maintain the aircraft myself perhaps I'll save myself the build work and save my wife a lot of date nights
