Bobby vee has such a special talent. Though he was well known during his time, he definitely doesn’t get enough recognition now a days.. I wish more people still listened to music like this!
I’m 18 and me and my friends love this era of music, we listen to lots of ‘50s-‘60s when we drive around and go on trips :) really the best era of music, in my opinion
I'm 76 years old now grew up with all these songs and all these great singers the best music ever if I ever go to heaven I know I'm going to hear them all again
Bobby Vee was a trailblazer a great Superstar 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟he and Liverpool singer Billy Fury 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟were my Favourites they appeared together in Billys movie Play it Cool 1961 Bobby sang At a time Like this he was outstanding yeah great times
I remember when my oldest sister started getting into Rock n Roll music, the "Bobbies" were all the rage, Bobby Vee, Bobby Vinton, Bobby Darin, Bobby Rydell. Being named Robert, myself, I couldn't help but notice. Shortly after she started listening to these guys, however, the whole world changed when the Beatles took over the world. Everything old was gone: Elvis Presley, The Four Seasons, The Beach Boys. Nothing really thrived after the Beatles arrived on the scene. I was there when the world changed.
I'm 89 now but I remember him singing run to him and at the time I was going with somebody named Ron and he used to say Ron to me as a joke and I still like that song and think of that guy . This many years later and I have the Alexa play that almost every day.❤
BUT HE NEVER SANG ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC, BUT RATHER RYTHMIC, FAST- PACED POP SONGS LIKE THIS, AND SOFT "ADAGIO SUSTENUTO" ROMANTIC BALLADS. Respectfully 🙂🤠
Random Memory: - I went to a Baptist Church and the YPF (Young Peoples's Fellowship) all went to one person's home to watch a TV pop music show, probably/possibly after evening service. I still remember seeing this that night. I would have been in my early teens, and was out of my depth with the older kids, especially the girls!
I was 12 I remember this song and Bobby Vee bring back amazing thoughts how our music of the 60s lives on in all who grew up in the time frame of our era
I was only15 when this was No 1 in the UK where as my life gone Very lucky to have lived through that era when the world was a lot slower and safer I dread for our childrens future
Wonderful Song , Great Voice , FABULOUS SINGER !!! This Was When Music and Singer’s Were The Best ! ❤ Love Bobby Vee , So Glad I Grew Up In Those Happy Times ☺️
I cried when I learned of your death Bobby! Even as five year old I would sing this song to my Mom and make her smile. Do me a favor? If there is a heaven, would you sing it to my Mom for me?

There was actually a movie called “The Night Has A Thousand Eyes” but it came out over a decade before the song. There was also a book. Neither is about having your girlfriend spied upon to see if she’s been cheating. It’s just a great title.
Awesome entertainer and singer. I had the great fortune of meeting him. He was as great as a common man as he was great at being a star. Very rare indeed!
@@jimbo43ohara51 There's no more real or natural talent because, it's now done with computers and voice synthesizers and anyone can pretend to be a singer. How awful that the industry has permitted this to happen.
