Here's a good way to trap JW's in faulty logic, using Jesus resurrection. A JW will agree that when Jesus died, his Spirit returned to God. They also teach that Jesus was not resurrected bodily. BUT, they also teach that Jesus WAS raised from the dead. So, here's the JW dilemma. If Jesus' Spirit returned to the Father and his body is forever dead (according to them), then what was left of Jesus to be raised from the dead? NOTHING! JW's actually believe that Jesus was re-created, not resurrected.

How you gonna to love them? Love abides in the truth, we who are born again knowing the Scripture we are to warn people to turn away from deception and and love God, love Jesus and follow Him exposing any lies spoken, written against Him. We are to warn people, it is good to ask them to read some verses from the Scripture and ask how they understand, while they do not understand its prove they should stop to follow deceivers, confess their sins before Jesus and obey Him, read entire chapters to understand the text written for all people to correct us, to live in righteousness according to God's commands NOT sinful people who pervert the word of God. I’ve debated/witnessed to countless JW’s over the years. Active Publishers included. Showing them Jesus IS Jehovah is how u challenge them effectively. When u bring up Jesus saying “In 3 days I will raise it up (speaking of the Temple of His Body)” they will usually respond “Can a dead man raise himself?” Then I reply,”If He’s God,He certainly can…” *Crickets Every Time*. They just can’t reconcile that with their false belief. It baffles them. They are trained to challenge you in your beliefs, what they are not ready for,is for you to do the exact same thing. Some other scriptures that are very effective are when you connect Isaiah 42:8 “I am Yahweh(Jehovah in their New World) that is My Name;I will not give My Glory to another nor my praise to graven images”. Then quote John 17:5 when Jesus said,”Now Father Glorify Me in Your presence with the Same Glory I had with You before The World Existed”. Here u have Yahweh saying He shares His Glory with NO ONE but Himself and yet we see Jesus BLATANTLY saying He shares that same Glory, That God shares with NOBODY because HE IS JEHOVAH GOD! You can also connect Psalm 45:6-7 “Your throne, God,is forever and ever,and the scepter of Your Kingdom is a scepter of Justice. My favorite verses that were not taken out of the New World Translation are Isaiah 12:3, and Revelation 21:6 both say that God is the beginning and the end that latter adds the alpha and omega. Then when you go to Revelation 1: 8, 11; Revelation 21:6 and 22:13 Jesus says that’s he’s the beginning and the end, the alpha and omega. Clearly expressing his divinity. Once again the verses are in the NWT.

How about explaining to a JW how Jesus was made better than the angels. (Hebrews 1:4) So he has become better than the angels to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs. That should teach them.

In John 20:26-29 Jesus revealed Himself to Thomas because he didn't believe that the other disciples had seen Him. GOD uses ECHAD in Deut 6:4 and Ecclesiastes says two are better than ONE - ECHAD. How many is ONE? it is NOT THREE. ONE flesh is also ECHAD for one, as it is FIGURATIVE. JWs know the truth. They too once believed all these false stories when they were church members and members of various religions. I’ve also done this where prior to using this passage I would ask them if they know who raised Jesus Christ from the dead. They would always answer Jehovah and then I would ask them to read this passage along with 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and Romans 8:11 which usually stumps them.

Angels who take on human form eat and drink. Remember the 3 angels who appeared as men to Abraham. (Hebrews 13:2) Do not forget hospitality, for through it some unknowingly entertained angels. When you read 1 Corinthians 15:44 in context, beginning at verse 35, its clear that the body is still a physical body. It compares our future resurrection with the resurrection of Christ. It is called a spiritual body not because it is immaterial but because it is incorruptible, glorious and powerful. Flesh and blood in 1 Cor 15:50 is shorthand for our current "corruptible, dishonorable and weak" bodies.

Here's a good way to trap JW's in faulty logic, using Jesus resurrection. A JW will agree that when Jesus died, his Spirit returned to God. They also teach that Jesus was not resurrected bodily. BUT, they also teach that Jesus WAS raised from the dead. So, here's the JW dilemma. If Jesus' Spirit returned to the Father and his body is forever dead (according to them), then what was left of Jesus to be raised from the dead? NOTHING! JW's actually believe that Jesus was re-created, not resurrected.

In WW2 AH killed 50% of the Witnesses in Germany. What was their crime? The refused to sign a loyalty oath to AH. They said their loyalty to God was greater than anything else. What many people do not know is that when they were sent to the camps, a loyalty oath was sent with them. All they had to do was sign the oath and they would be set free. They chose death rather than betray God.
I understand your comments. You see the JW's as sinners, and a case can be made. I see them as lost sheep. A lost sheep is still a sheep. Even if it was a lost sheep that found me, how can I not love them?

I’ve debated/witnessed to countless JW’s over the years. Active Publishers included. Showing them Jesus IS Jehovah is how u challenge them effectively.
When u bring up Jesus saying “In 3 days I will raise it up (speaking of the Temple of His Body)” they will usually respond “Can a dead man raise himself?” Then I reply,”If He’s God,He certainly can…” *Crickets Every Time*. They just can’t reconcile that with their false belief. It baffles them.
They are trained to challenge you in your beliefs, what they are not ready for,is for you to do the exact same thing.
Some other scriptures that are very effective are when you connect

When JW’s use their line “Jesus was never called God” quote John 20:28 when Thomas saw and believed and says “My Lord AND MY GOD!!” They have a very hard time with that clear Biblical answer.

My favorite verses that were not taken out of the New World Translation are Isaiah 12:3, and Revelation 21:6 both say that God is the beginning and the end that latter adds the alpha and omega. Then when you go to Revelation 1: 8, 11; Revelation 21:6 and 22:13 Jesus says that’s he’s the beginning and the end, the alpha and omega.

In John 20:26-29 Jesus revealed Himself to Thomas because he didn't believe that the other disciples had seen Him. After Thomas put his finger through Jesus' hands and His side, then Thomas believed and called Jesus his "Lord and his God". Their own bible contradics itself but God. GOD uses ECHAD in Deut 6:4 and Ecclesiastes says two are better than ONE - ECHAD. How many is ONE? it is NOT THREE. ONE flesh is also ECHAD for one, as it is FIGURATIVE. So the plain question for you, is if ECHAD for GOD is FIGURATIVE? NOPE. GOD is ONE. Why would some scripture contradict this?
(1 Thessalonians 1:10) and to wait for HIS Son from the heavens, whom HE raised up from the dead, namely, Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath that is coming.

When you read 1 Corinthians 15:44 in context, beginning at verse 35, its clear that the body is still a physical body. It compares our future resurrection with the resurrection of Christ. It is called a spiritual body not because it is immaterial but because it is incorruptible, glorious and powerful. Flesh and blood in 1 Cor 15:50 is shorthand for our current "corruptible, dishonorable and weak" bodies.
Paul's letters are full of Roman and Greek dualism i.e. the flesh and physical world is evil and corrupt,the spiritual is good and holy.

1 Peter 3.18... explains it fully as with 1 Tim3.16 'in any bible', (even your version). which clearly states Christ died in the flesh and was raised 'in spirit form'. JWs score 1, You... Zero. It indicates his authority over his resurrection but does not clarify the nature of the body he would have afterward. Why do JWs believe that Jesus raised as a glorious spirit rather than in a physical body? The idea does not originate with us. The APOSTLES explain that Jesus GAVE up his body for us....(Heb.10:10)....that he 'died in the flesh but was raised in the SPIRIT' (1Peter 3:18).... that the 1st Adam was made a physical soul, but the last Adam (Jesus) became a lifegiving SPIRIT.... If he was resurrected in the flesh that would surely cancel out the ransom he just paid. Add to that how he on a number of occasions appeared to his followers and they did not recognise him, shows he did not have the same body.
That is not to say however that he did not materialize a fleshly body on occasions as did other spitit creatures in the past. I'm thinking of the occasion with Thomas when he doubted and had his hand put into Jesus wounds.
