Nice looking boat. I have been following Seahunter boats for several years and they would definitely be on my short list.

Yeah . I have never seen grab rails on any other boat in my life and I have been fishing for 30 years. Someone should patent Grab rails

I sea trialed a 33 Sea Hunter before I bought my 34Z SeaVee and the ride and fit and finish just wasn't comparable. Sorry Mike as I know and you know SeaVee wins hands down in that market!

No need to be sorry, not every boat is right for every owner. The fit and finish on a SeaVee is 5 star. As far as the ride, I've spent quite a bit of time behind the wheel of the SeaHunter 33 and im incredibly impressed and while ive owned (2) SeaVee 390s and a 37, I have zero time on a 34 so it would be unfair of me to compare the ride between the two. If you're happy with your SeaVee 34, stick with it my friend and continue to enjoy your days on the water. Catch em up and I hope to see you out there one day soon....thanks for watching, - Capt Mike

I have owned one of these and it has to be the worst boat I have had. I was purchased brand new with triple mercury 400's. this boat should never have triples. They dont ride level at all, you have to trim the starboard motor out more than the centre and port motor to level the boat. It’s that bad they add 50 pounds of lead shot in bags on the starboard side transom we found when you remove the access panel. upon speaking to Marky Berta he confirmed they add the lead shot to try and balance the boat. The motors are so far sunk in the water they take ages to get on plane and the cavitation plates run under the water. We even tried jack plates to get the motors out the water.but didn’t much difference so we took them off. They even drill out additional holes on the mercury mounting plates to try and get the motors up out the water which the guys in the factory tell you Mercury are ok with them doing it? Really!! The amount of input needed to try and drive this boat is a complete joke. It runs on a narrow pad and has no sense of direction at all. The guy that bought the boat from me even contacted the factory complaing about the same issues. This boats only use is for a sand bar. Don’t waste your money.

Ive noticed a little lean getting up on plane, too, however it is easily and instantly alleviated with a few degrees of trim on starboard engine, which takes about two seconds. Reason being is the very sharp entry designed to slice through oncoming waves which provides a fantastic and impressive ride. The boat is perfectly suited for triples, there are no 50 lb lead bags and it does not take ages to get on plane and honestly, claiming the amount of input to drive the boat is a complete joke is simply not true. I understand there are many variables to consider, including trip 400s which may not have been the ideal power combination, weather/sea conditions, overall load, operator experience, the list goes on, although I have to stress from personal experience that ive run a 2022 33 with trip 300 V8s for many days and many hours and while you are correct that it is not as seamless as some other boat models, no boat is perfect and when you consider the long list of benefits the 33 offers and its beefy size, I say this should absolutely be a consideration for any buyer in this class. At the end of the day though, not every boat is for every owner and I know that I and our viewers appreciate your feedback. Thanks again for watching and I look forward to seeing you on the water. - Capt Mike
